Re: Another bull run speculated for Q4,2018?

Even though Bitcoin and its technology are very useful and are changing the world, anybody that claims to ‘know’ whether the price of Bitcoin will rise or fall is a liar. Sorry, but that’s the truth. I strongly believe that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are the future. This is why I believe the price of Bitcoin will increase this year. This is what I believe, but I can never know. All I can do is guess and make a Bitcoin price prediction. You can look at charts, you can look at news, but you can never ‘know’ for sure. There are people that say Bitcoin is a ‘bubble’ like the ‘dot-com bubble’ that happened when internet companies’ stocks started increasing in price back in the late 1990s. They say that Bitcoin will ‘burst’ in 2018, meaning they think it will crash. But is still moving.. Whether bull run or not no one can predict the future.

Re: Bitcoin uses too much energy?
by

on 01/09/2018, 11:54:31 UTC
According to one widely cited website that tracks the subject, the Bitcoin network is consuming power at an annual rate of 32TWh—about as much as Denmark. By the site's calculations, each Bitcoin transaction consumes 250kWh, enough to power homes for nine days. Naturally, this is leading to concerns about sustainability. Eric Holthaus, a writer for Grist, projects that, at current growth rates, the Bitcoin network will "use as much electricity as the entire world does today" by early 2020. "This is an unsustainable trajectory," he writes.Global energy production obviously can't double in two years, and it would be an environmental disaster if it did. Fortunately, while the Bitcoin network consumes a ridiculous amount of energy, particularly on a per-transaction basis, the situation isn't as dire as critics like Holthaus claim. Bitcoin's energy consumption won't necessarily march steadily upward. Indeed, Bitcoin's energy consumption is designed to fall in the long run. And Bitcoin's energy consumption isn't tied to the number of transactions the network handles. That means that increasing use of the network won't necessarily impose a high environmental cost.

Re: the benefits of managing bitcoin

Are some of the benefits. Cryptocurrencies are disruptive economic innovation that have the potential to revolutionize the current economic structure and change how banks and financial institutions operate. Bitcoin is the most popular form of cryptocurrency that enables digital transactions between two parties without the need of an intermediary. Every transaction is digitally recorded in blocks which act like ledgers and once a block is filled a new block is created. All blocks are connected to each other using hashtags and a linear chronological sequence of these blocks forms a blockchain. Thus, every transaction is digitally recorded to keep security at a top notch level. Though the transactions are recorded, the information of the parties participating in the exchange is not revealed. The money can only be tracked when it is converted into cash. This public way of managing transactions has created the possibility of a huge revolution in the banking sector across the world.

The Bitcoin bull run is starting! Every time we see Bitcoin price going up we get this jolt of exciting right, Bitcoin jumped by over $500 in last 2 days. But what's more exciting is that it's not a short term move, but indications show that it's a start of a significant next bull run, that will intensify even more towards November - December this year and reach all-time high.. For example right now there are less and less people betting their money on Bitcoin going down, and more and more people are betting it'll go up! What's most important is that you are PREPARED. First of all to get the most of the crypto market, knowing when to get in and when to get out.

Why Some Bulls Expect Bitcoin to Fall Below $5,000 Prior to Big Rally

https://www.ccn.com/why-some-bulls-expect-bitcoin-to-fall-below-5000-prior-to-big-rally/amp/

That will not work because cost of mining is close to $5000 falling below $5000 will a difficult situation for miners. We all see the balance this bitcoin was trying to keep in other not to fall below $6000. And now today we see a jump of $500 balancing it up to $7000. With time will get back normal or stable. If once it can cross up to $10,000 the bull run will start proper and those who get involve when it was cheap earlier will smile and be grateful for the decision they made. If you have not done so before, there is still chance for you to buy down and rejoice later.

Re: Bitcoin ETF and USA lawmakers

The SEC statement about a possible revision of its refusal to approve ETF-applications, slightly leveled the negative in the market and increased the chances of growth. Having overcome the most important resistance of 6600, which acted as an obstacle for 2 weeks, the pair BTC-USD rushed to the next barrier at 6840. This resistance kept the onslaught of bulls in mid-June-early July and August 22 this year. Its breakthrough will open the way to the development of a local bullish trend. Within the main time we can change our plan and make the decision that will favour us

Re: Crypto is dangerous....
by
Emmax
on 27/08/2018, 13:35:04 UTC
Hello everyone, Today i'd like to share my story.
So in 2017 in sept, I first mined some electroneum coins and they were worth like $200 later, I as a student couldn't afford to buy Bitcoins for trading or holding, So mining did helped me ETN was a good coin, i would mine like 50 a day and it turned 20cents each, I got addicted to crypto and trading but i was scared to trade and lose those 200$ because then i'd have nothing, So from Sept to Nov, i'd just watch graphs and look at coins, Watch videos, try to learn trading and everything and in December i started trading and you guys know what happened at December 2017, But i was prepared so my $200 turned into like $150, still a loss but anyway.
But it went like this and i kept trading and everything, and i was in love with it...... Sadly in my Exams, I failed 3 papers in total 5... Because of Crypto, it takes you away from Real world, So i was disapointed because of it.
Now i trade carelessly without emotions, and i went above $200.. I saw many times and now experience told me its true that trading is 10% skills, 10% luck, 10% patience and 70% emotions....

good luck and enjoy your lives and don't ruin anything.

Edit: I still have high hopes from Crypto and i think this will change my life and i'll be not worrying about Studies later, But like people say "Don't put everything in one Basket" , so always have a backup. Study is my first priority and Bitcoin can be my side struggle and with luck and hard work, i might not have to worry about studies then.

U explained your full life story here but not point to hold on here. You learned trading and at the same failed 3 papers because you are learning trading and you lost your $200. Thanks for sharing your story... I think we learned, well-done boy. Those who will like to balance everything are still here working in silent and they are learning more with the failure in silent. Pls next time write something that will up build people not all things you explain here so. Pls take your time to study more about digital currency or Cryptocurrency and Blockchain to say before writing.. You are still newbies anyway. Read more best advice

Re: Is bitcoin a threat to USD and Pound Sterling?
by

on 24/08/2018, 10:00:55 UTC
The world’s currencies are on an endless roller-coaster ride, their relative values constantly rising and falling in relation to each other, with the occasional stomach-churning drop. Last year, it was the turn of the US dollar to hurtle downwards, as UAE expats earning dollar-pegged dirhams know to their cost. The dollar suffered its worst year in a decade, hitting UAE residents with financial commitments in foreign currencies, as their earnings do not travel as far as they did a year ago. Well, if Bitcoin can't, then the US dollar can. Everything will in time be good.

Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins?
by
Emmax
on 24/08/2018, 09:56:44 UTC
There is no regulation on the use of bitcoins. Implicit ban. The Superintendencia Financiera warned financial institutions in 2014 that they may not "protect, invest, broker, or manage virtual money operations". The Ecuadorian government has issued a ban on bitcoin and other digital currencies. So bitcoin can not be ban no Matter what they do. Nobody is in control of it. Those in still in doubt about bitcoin being banned can read more about Blockchain and digital currency in details. I believe after making diligent search you will be satisfy that it cant be ban.

Re: Bitcoin has 54% of the cryptocurrency market
by

on 23/08/2018, 18:50:08 UTC
For those of you that think that Bitcoin is going down this article proves that it's still the strongest in the cryptocurrency world. Not since December 2017 has Bitcoin been such a dominant part of cryptocurrency.

Full article here: https://bitcoinist.com/cryptocurrency-market-54-bitcoin/

Bitcoin is still at the top. The father of all Cryptocurrency must be given respect.  Bitcoin will still remain the top of all in the market no matter the bearish market we are facing. But the advice always is to take advantage of this opportunity and not to miss the massive gain later.

What a fantastic project! CryptAssist finally make the vision which they have accomplished. I have seen from the beginning what this team will be able to do in the Crypto space. This is the only project that have been developing ever since without first collecting funds from investors. Now presently Hard Cap and Soft Cap are guaranteed and this was reach before the expected date September 12th. A very huge thanks to Cryptassist team and the investors for making it possible to get the needed money to take the project to another level.

Re: ICO collects $1.5million in 50 hours?
by

I've been looking into ICOs recently and I noticed that ORCA raised 1.5 million dollars in 50 hours during the ICO's first round. Is this typical in the current market state? What does it say about the project?

If that really happen such project will look very promising. Maybe the problem they have to solved in the Crypto space, most of the investors like it and from the analysis from whitepapar you can know when project will be promising or not. But always play a long with card because anything can happen.

That was the worst bounty project campaigns I have done. But what I'm expecting from this new project I'm currently doing will make me to smile more.. Joy is coming

Re: Why is the market red
by
Emmax
on 14/08/2018, 22:46:27 UTC
Red because of everything dropping in price. Whenever you see red color know price was drop and still believe we will see green very well soon. When bull run started we should be patient with the market and still observe until start going well as planned. But is not easy to bear this market is very frustrating  but we have to still pursue and make things in place.

Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH?

Are you surprised at the price of ETH? what is the reason?

Very very disappointed with the current price. I have ETH when it was $1200 but today is very surprising that it has drop to $260 today and thinking it will even drop more from the ways of things. I don't really know the cause this sudden drop in this market. Those that can take advantage of this chance should do but have to wait with time and before everything can get back normal.
