It is not about to get staking rewards with every 24 hrs it depends how many coins u have. Ur coins need to match network weight. Ur sync of network weight increases about every minute by a value equal to the amount of your coins.
The PoS pools have advantage where You are staking ur coins with others, and all users have stake rewards very often.
