I did this and got a little further.  Now i get this error.  Could not connect to X.X.X.X:12845.  I have opened that port on the firewall and confirmed it is accesssible via the Internet.  Is there somehting else in the vivo.conf that needs to be added?

Hi Guys,  I got this working.  I added the public IP as a secondary address to my VPS.  Although its just a placeholder somehow the VIVO network needs the Masternode to identify as the IP listed in the vivo.conf.  Hope this helps anyone else who puts Masternode behind a firewall with NAT.

To everyone with wallets not syncing.

Open vivo.conf and remove (or comment out with # at the start of the line) all addnodes you have listed, then add the list from WhyWeFight's post at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2110690.msg22238464#msg22238464

Close Vivo, if it is not already closed, and copy the "backups" folder to your Desktop or somewhere safe (these are backups of your wallet).

Delete the following files and folders (DO NOT DELETE wallet.dat!!!!)

banlist.dat
peers.dat
blocks
chainstate
database

Check that you have the latest version of the wallet installed (0.12.1.7, but the About box will say 0.12.1.6 - reinstall if in doubt).

Then open Vivo and leave it to sync from 0 again.  This should work and then you should be synced on the correct chain.

My VIVO wallet stopped syncing two days ago.  It show 8 active connections to the VIVO network, but it says "No block source available".

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to fix this?
