Re: What do you think the cryptocurrency market will disappear in five years?
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 14/07/2018, 08:24:03 UTC
I think it is very likely that this market will disappear. When big financial investors play the game, profits will be generated when new investors enter the market. However, I find that the more confidence in this market is reduced. It is too unstable, prices are rising so fast in a short time and so dropping so fast. The financial sharks control the price of the market, and retail investors are constantly losing money. I believe that when the confidence in the market is gone, the market will collapse
it will be hard for market to disappear because in the market there are so many popular coins that is not easily can destroy by someone so as long as there is a coin in the market there will be still a stable market

by

The increase as witnessed in the cryptoworld attracts many investors, ranging from those who understand the ideology of Bitcion and newbies whose idea was to get rich quick from investing into Bitcion world. The growth in cryptomarket also leads to increase in cybercriminals. The rate at which hackers were attacking exchanges are on the increase.

I just need your suggestion on how to curb menace of hackers in order to build investors confidence in this cryptoworld to optimum level.

riskrisk

no your wrong because as an investor your safety depends on you if you invest bitcoion wisely then your safe but if not think what might happen to your bitcoin if you dont invest in proper way

Re: banks investment and the crypto world
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 12/07/2018, 20:48:03 UTC
banks and crypto has a very urgent function for economic stability. but, I see today many banks are interested in saving their assets on the crypto world.

call it south Korea, it was reported that the local bank's virtual account balance reached $ 1.79 billion, but this year their assets are low, I think the market in 2017 makes people speculate.

on the other side, the Korean government makes preventive and educative measures by limiting the age of investors, the purpose is to make the crypto market easy to control and transparent.

so, the value of bank assets in the crypto world is still low.
many people all over the world will like it because that partnership is good clash so if they accept each other there will be more investors to come here in crypto

Re: I CHOSE BITCOIN INVESTMENT OVER BANK INVESTMENT
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 12/07/2018, 12:31:18 UTC
Knowing the crypto world was the best thing I have ever done. Today I was given an amount of $20000 by my uncle to make an investment for him at the bank so that by the end of the year he can get some additional money added to his capital. I sat down and calculated and found out that, investing at the bank will give him just $2000 interest.

I then called him and explain to him about cryptocurrency and how secured it is with evidences and it price increment for last year. After seeing it he told me to invest that amount into BITCOIN and I have done it for him. I know that is volatile and can fluctuate but I made time to explain to him that although the market is red now but when the green days come he will get not less thank $25000 added to his capital. I know I did the right thing and he will surely laugh some days to come. What do you think guys?
Think wisely and properly because we know that bitcoin is dangerous so keep your money safe im not saying that im against im just that afraid to lose money online

Re: bitcoin will end? anynother coin to be next by bitcoin?
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 11/07/2018, 14:24:01 UTC
Btc price market continues to drop. Hence more people are speculating about the end of the bitcoin. The possibility has a chance to end the system because just recently more people are selling their btc which resulted to market price dropping. Now os it really the end of bitcoin? Is there any other coin that will be probably next to bitcoin? I hope bitcoin will not end so as to continue the good things bitcoin has brought to the investors though i was not able to invest in bitcoin but i am planning in the near future. How about you what is stand against the speculation and the other coin that will be next to bitcoin?
bitcoin will not end as long as many people are using it but maybe there will be a new coin that will compete to bitcoin

In BTC around 2016. For me, it has given me a big step toward financial freedom. Frankly, if I could make do with a lower quality of life, I would already have enough for a few lifetimes. This is the biggest wealth transfer of our generation.

Bought everything I ever wanted  and can support my family very well. Grateful for all of this. This is not a show off thread but rather to share the positivity in a real way as there is too much negativity. 🙏🏻
bitcoin really helps alot in my life, bitcoin is the reason why i have progress in life and why i am a successful human person right now so dont lose hope about bitcoin its just a start

Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 03/07/2018, 14:29:10 UTC
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.
that will be so cool for some people but so unfair because here in my country still universities are not accepting bitcoin but i will wait maybe they are planning for it

Re: How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic?
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 03/07/2018, 11:48:05 UTC
Some people are asking, "How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic?"

I think this is the right answer. Bitcoin has become a currency for a nation that is currently supporting all kinds of people. Bitcoin has become as an international currency at this point. Once again, technologies help the world to solve its problems. This can raise Bitcoin reputation among economic discussions. And also will give positive mood to Bitcoin markets.

it can help in many ways especially it can help to have a progress in some economy in many countries especially to those who are poor counties

Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency.
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 01/07/2018, 15:32:44 UTC
The first purchase using bitcoins was in 2009 when someone bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins. Today, that would be worth $83,746,850. Many people have started to use Bitcoin and it is now the most popular cryptocurrency in the world. Many countries whose currencies have become hyperinflated have thought about switching their national currency to Bitcoin. For something to be classified as money, it needs to be a good unit of account, medium of exchange, and store of value. Since Bitcoin has become extremely popular, I wanted to explain to investors and Bitcoin users that Bitcoin isn't a legit currency. The main three reasons why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency is because it is a poor unit of account, medium of exchange, and store of value.
One of the big three parts of a currency is that it is a good unit of account. For something to be a unit of account, people have to be able to compare its price to the prices of alternative retail goods. Since the value of a bitcoin changes so much, it would be hard and confusing for both the consumer and the seller to recalculate the prices every day. “Because the value of a bitcoin compared to other currencies changes greatly on a day-to-day basis, retailers that accept the currency have to recalculate prices very frequently, a practice that would be costly to the merchant and confusing to the consumer.” This quote from David Yermack’s article Is Bitcoin a Real Currency? An Economic Appraisal Bitcoin shows why Bitcoin isn't a good unit of account. That is one reason why Bitcoin can't be a form of currency and why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency.
The second part of something that is classified as a currency is that it is a medium of exchange. A medium of exchange is an intermediary instrument used to facilitate the sale, purchase or trade of goods. Since bitcoin doesn't have any intrinsic value, so its worth is held up by its usefulness as a currency in the consumer economy. The Youtube video “Why Do Banks Fear Bitcoin” by VisionVictory explains that there is a set amount of Bitcoins and by the year 2140, there will be a total of 21 million bitcoins. Miners have already mined 11.9 million of them, and this means that there is only 9.1 million left. Once all of it is mined, there won’t be any more left to be mined. Dollar bills can be printed by the U.S. government if they were needed. Some more reasons why Bitcoins isn't a good medium of exchange are that Bitcoins transactions each take around 10 minutes each, which is very slow compared to using a credit or debit card, which takes a few seconds. Also, Bitcoin transactions can cost around $20, which is extremely expensive. Because of all of these reasons, Bitcoin can't be a good medium of exchange, which is very important if it were to be a legit currency.
The third and final part of a currency is that it has to be a good store of value. A store of value means that the function of an asset that can be saved, retrieved and exchanged at a later time. In the long podcast on Youtube by Paul Vigna & Michael Casey: ‘The Age of Cryptocurrency’, they explain what a decentralized currency is. Bitcoin is an atrocious store of value and one of the reasons why is because of its constant hacking attacks and other security problems. This is mostly because Bitcoin is decentralized, which means that there is no central authority that can stop any Bitcoin transaction or any hacking attempts. One of the reasons why Bitcoin is so popular is because people can stay anonymous and make transactions without people knowing who they are. The downside of using a decentralized currency is that people can do illegal things anonymously and get away with it. And also, Bitcoin’s exchange rate has no correlation at all with any other big currencies like the Dollar, Euro, and Yen. This makes Bitcoin extremely risky to use because it is tethered to any other currencies so its’ value would change constantly. This shows how terrible of a store of value Bitcoin is and why it cannot be a legit currency.
Tons of people are jumping on the “Bitcoin Bandwagon” without doing their own research on it, and they’re going to lose a lot of time and money because of this. They need to realize that Bitcoin is not a legit currency because it fails to be a unit of account, medium of exchange, and a store of value.

because bitcoin is not actually a real coin it is only a crypto coin or virtual relality coin that has a value online but u can still convert it in our currency

Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits?
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 01/07/2018, 07:16:01 UTC
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
for sire in the future banks will realize how bitcoin important is to their companies they will for sire prtnership with it

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
we know that bitcoin value right now is so low so lets wait for bitcoin to increase again maybe in the next month or next few days

Re: What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon?
by
Erlinda Santiago
on 30/06/2018, 09:48:00 UTC
"Soon" would be in the next 1-3 years or so.

One of the biggest dangers for BTC is something more useful coming along and investors switching - a process which could happen extremely fast, once started.

So to all the tech savy people in here - what advantages could other cryptocurrencies bring that will give them a crucial edge over BTC, and how fast could something like that come along?
there is a lot of chance because i know people cant stay in only one coin so for sure in the future they will make new and better one for bitcoin
