The backbone infrastructure of web 3.0 will be worth a hell of a lot more than a new global asset class.

If BTC is worth 300-500K in 2040 than ETH is easily worth 800K to 2mil

But please, do worry about your short term fundementals, this will change how world economies and networks fundamentally work. Limiting ourselves to short term implications is generally pointless when looking at the environment more abstractly.

If the market moves into an early summer/late spring bull that might happen but I think 2 months is really pushing it. Eth will definitely hit it's ATH again this year and from past performance the new ATH will likely be above 2k. Honestly though it could take the whole year to get there.

No flippaning until POS! Bitcoin is needed to stabalize the market for now. Here's hoping BTC and ETH both grow a lot this year. I can easily see 30K BTC and 5k ETH by 2019.

ETH will definitely hit 10K one day but next year is too bullish of a target. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3500$ though. With that said if BTC keeps growing and ETH hits its old 0.15 ratio 10K suddenly becomes more realistic.

I don't know about a 10x but 5x is definitely in the cards.

If Ethereum actually becomes the backbone of web 3.0 it will utterly destroy bitcoin in value. I'm talking 3-4 times the price if we're looking at a long term outlook on the scale of 20-30 years. Beyond that I don't see bitcoin lasting that long anyhow, at least not as the main currency. Bitcoin is slow, damages the environment and a pain in the ass for the average person to use. It's not even private like Monero and other coins. Bitcoin is riding on brand recognition at his point. Nakamoto is amazing and he started the revolution, but his currency won't be the one to finish it.

Now that's not to say bitcoin isn't worth investing in. I'm really bullish on it and it could easily seek 100K per coin one day soon, but BTC is not the future.

With that said buy both BTC and ETH if you can. The king isin't going to be dethroned anytime soon. I mean unless bitcoin cash moves in which is always possible.

100x is still achievable, you just have to be more patient. For one some easy 10-20x returns will come around after the next crash. When the market next crashes just pick already good projects like monero and wait for them to recover and bull in the next run. For really big 100x returns you might have to wait years if you don't want to take major risks with low cap coins. But some coins like Monero, Ethereum and even Bitcoin could still go 50x from today's prices. I think ETH even has potential to 100x from today's price if we're looking 5-10 years down the road.

You're disillusion if you think DOGE will reach $1 within 3 years. The giant supply should be enough to tell you that. From today's price it would be roughly a 200x to reach $1.

Don't buy the top, just saying.

If Etheruem just returns to its old ratio with BTC it will be worth roughly $2800 at BTC's current price. Assuming BTC keeps consolidating at these prices and ethereum has moderate growth as well as returning to its old ratio it could easily surpass its old ratio. And if BTC keeps rising than just returning to that old ration might be enough to push ETH over 5K

It's never too late, you'll still get better returns than every other market out there. Buy at least 0.1 BTC you'll kick yourself if you don't because one day a single BTC will be worth 1 milllion USD. Also grab some Ethereum and good alts like Monero.
