Re: How the best ICO is choosen
by

Yeah there's so much information to swim through nowadays, and so much work behind finding the right ICO. It's a bit overwhelming for someone who hasn't done much work with crypto to try and distinguish one from the other. Thanks for the list of pointers, that is certainly good advice.

I don't know if it would be better to hire someone to do this for you or not. It might help to work with an advisor at the beginning just to see how they do it, and then start out for yourself, but starting small.

There is always a possibility that a successfully looking project would collapse right in the middle, so everyone's advice here is just "Invest on what you can afford to lose", You are right start small. Also no advice is perfect, the best teacher is always experience. Also there are some review sites like icobench and menlo.one that can help you where to start investing your money.

Re: How did you choose ICO to invest?

For me I always think if their product or idea would sell to public, what I mean if its marketability. Because a project always depends on its community to be able to succeed, If I see the project not getting any huge exposure or either not getting enough support then I would go for them. Right now, there are few projects that wins my heart in terms of this criteria namely OPP and Menlo just look into their telegram group's and you'll see a number of supports they are getting.

Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC?

I don't know but when a project requires KYC it seems legit for me. The reasons why ICO ask for KYC for every investor is because it is requirement for them on their license. BTW, have anyone of you guys tried menlo.one? They plan to automatically enroll your any ICO you are following.

Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings?

I have seen a thread here exposing the game behind ICO rating sites. ICO's just pays the right amount of money to get a good review about their ICO. What I think is this sites are corrupted and can't be trusted with their feedback. There's a new upcoming ICO review platform that will fix this, www.menlo.one their guild system is what amaze me, it will prevent the fraud and corruption within ICO space.

Of course it will be happen, we cant create infinite new companies.
Fully is not gone, i think in the future we see 1 2 ico per month

LOL. No I don't think so. There will always be new ideas that will come and new ICO's will come out. What we need right now is something that can control or in any case sort out the bad projects from the good one. I hope there will be more ICO's just like menlo and elysian that plans to filter out the fake ICO's right now.

Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem)

I'm curious to see if the first apps to run on EOS will be BitShares and Steem?

Not an EOS specific interview, but does give a good idea what Dan is thinking: https://youtu.be/I-X4faugNuI

Well menlo is having a cross-chain wallet and EOS is included might be the first one to fully implement this kind of stuff supporting ERC20 tokens, EOS, and stellar. Their plan is to fully integrated a wallet that is capable to avail any token sale at the moment it starts.

Looks like my post was moved to marketplace from group buys.

$1k for an s9 looks appealing. Anyone to test the waters for us all?

Remember this qoute "If its too good to be true, its probably it is"

Just go directly to bitmain or ebay. There you'll find much more trusted seller.

As I have said, they don't focus much about the ICO and their token right now. Paybear's priority is getting more merchants on using their product.
Yeah they don't have any tentative date for the ICO launch, but basing on their roadmap it'll be in the last quarter of 2018.

Well that's a long wait. I thought paybear's ICO is in the first quarter of 2018, I see they have already starting marketing their service, but I hope, they will also be focusing on their ICO.

Have anyone used the service of Paybear? They seem like bitpay but with lower fees, not sure if they are legit or not though.

I have done a test buy using paybear and it worked perfectly. They're quite a bit cheaper than Bitpay, so I'd suggest use paybear than Bitpay.

Re: The Canadian Bank Creates a Storage for Cryptocurrency.
by

it is a positive news in a sense that it shows they are bitcoin friendly and they are on the way to adopt bitcoin and possibly other cryptocurrencies too.

Canada has been very friendly to cryptocurrency allowing ICO's and anything related Bitcoin to grow there.

but it is a dumb service and i don't know who would want to use it. a "bitcoin bank" as the hundreds of topics so far in the past years kept asking about is here! but i still don't know who in their right minds would want to store something they can easily and securely store themselves, in a bank?!

Joining with the trend maybe?  Huh Allowing more investors to come to their bank because they accept those kinds of transactions.

I'd say it's a good move for them and good news for us.  Cool

Re: What is the real circulation of Bitcoin?
by
Essaint56
on 09/02/2018, 06:46:58 UTC
Bitcoins do not have to be lost to be out of circulation. Every coin that are hoarded and not available at any given time, should be regarded as not in circulation. Millions of people are storing coins in cold storage and these coins are not in circulation.

The total coins in circulation cannot be determined, because you have people that are trading coins on a person to person basis. These coins are not going through centralized services, like exchanges or payment processors and cannot be recorded at any given moment.

Yeah, I do believe in this logic. Just like on stocks exchanges, stocks that are not circulating are those that are being held. If we mean by circulating, it's being used as payment, being transacted, etc.

bitcoin go up over 8k today after went down deeply 6k just few day ago, very good new. Is it a right time for us to invest bitcoin and wait 2,3 months when its price go up stronger. Pls share your thought. I really need some good advice Smiley Smiley Smiley

If you'll wait after 2-3 months and wait for the price to go up. Then you'll not getting any profit, if you're in for the profit then now is the right time for you to buy BTC.

When will LN be 100% adopted, and will it be adopted before BCH overtakes market? or ALTS for that matter?

If you're asking if it will be adopted before BCH overtakes the market, the answer is YES. The LN had successfully tested and its now being adopted, on the other hand, BCH will never overtake BTC in the market even in the future.

They have enough cash to do it (if they ever want to join the trend on cryptocurrency). We have been seeing wild movements of bitcoin and other alts lately but it doesn't mean it is because of them.

No, its not fake news. China did banned the use of crypto, but it doesn't mean people can be stopped accessing their coins. Actually what China did was to banned all the miners and exchanges in their country.

Why not try to buy and sell through bitcoin? There are lots of merchants of golds and silver who accepts bitcoin transaction. You can be one of them.
