anyone knows what hapend to etherite pool???

Sorry we did a quick backend update in prepare for notifications and other features.DDOS?
We have had a few DDoS attempts but nothing that has cause any issue with mining.
We appologise for any downtime but it should have been minimal. Most miners are hashing away but you might have failed over to a back up pool if you had one sent.
All payouts have been sent also

This promotion has now ended, if you have been mining in the last 72 hours you address has been added to the list and will have 0% fees forever while mining at Etherite.
Please note that Etherite is currently 0% fees indefinitely until we build a large enough miner base to regularly find blocks. Once Etherite goes to 1% fee this is when your account will stay 0% fees.

Not many people rent hash to mine ethereum? Most people had gfx cards laying about from mining LTC or other alt-coins and are re purposing them to mine ethereum.

Yes that is correct, it is every 6 hours now (4 times per day) as long as your balance is over 0.5ETH.
