Reading into this project more and based on what I know from being a NuShare owner and staying up to date, it appears you are starting to and have the tools necessary to build an entire crypto-ecosystem on top of the Peershares platform in a similar fashion to other crypto 2.0 platforms and Nu will act as the central bank of the economy.  Each DAC with it's own customized Peershares implementation.

So I guess my question is, what aren't you telling us?

What is next?

Do you imagine B&C will list the trading pairs with more trading volume or take a more open arms approach with alts seeking to be listed? / Who is your target market as far as customers go?

How do you think the trading experience will compare to that of a centralized exchange?  I have seen the 10 trades a second ceiling in the paper, but that doesn't necessarily mean actions will be completed in 1/10th of a second, does it?  What stops anyone from front running a trade or action before it is 'confirmed' on the blockchain?

Anyone else notice that bumface seems to have no problem with shelling out coins when it comes to helping the community grow while he has a personal policy of not bribing the exchanges to list UTC.  I think this says a lot about his character and vision for Ultracoin and it makes a lot of sense to me.  If we build a community around UTC, the exchanges really won't have much of a choice if they want our business.  This is how we will end up on BTC-e and ... Coinbase.    Don't sweat the small stuff and stay positive!  We are going to get there.

Yes, in theory.  Just as I can estimate how much UTC my miner will get.  It could be more or even less if you are unlucky.  Good luck everyone! 

Monthly PoS rewards would come to approximately 1.666%  It is still a matter of finding a block for the network, though.  Nothing is a guarantee.  So if you go down for a power outage or similar situation, it has a minimal effect on estimated annual interest.  

Just like proof of work needs to do work all year, proof of stake needs to prove stake all year.  This is just how it works.

So atomicchaos just deleted a comment he made from the UTC ANN thread.  To keep the spirit of this thread alive, I figured it would be of some value to post it here.  It went like this:


Now what is so funny about his frantic comment is that he literally read through all of my trollboxarchive comments in an attempt to dig up some damning evidence linking me to BTC-e chat room moderators.  How?  Who knows.  But when he came up empty handed, he had no other choice but to pull snippets of info from comments I have made and try to present them in a strange way.  I don't know if he was trying to scare me or embarrass me for making a living off of Apple products but one thing is certain, this guy is obsessive about trying to present UTC in a bad light and anyone who supports it.  He didn't find what he was looking for, so he improvised and tried to make it personal.

I am a UTC stakeholder for reasons I have made perfectly clear.  I like all the aspects of the coin (fast block, ASIC resistant, PoS hybrid) and the founder is a nice guy who is showing passion for the project.  I am not dumping my stake, either.  I intend to double my stake when a larger market for it develops.  Perhaps the reason atomicchaos is getting desperate in his attempts to discredit of UTC is because he is realizing he made a mistake in judging Ultracoin.

Only time will tell.  I think it is time for UTC!

I am currently hanging out in #minepool on freenode and I have just confirmed that degenorate is a chatroom op there who is helping UTC in some fashion.  WTF atomicchaos, get your sock puppets in there!  Chatroom mods have no place in supporting altcoins.
