Re: Should I keep my BTC now?
by
EugeneJanet
on 07/04/2018, 16:14:35 UTC
Hi guys! I have been hold my BTC for a long time but now it's completely down and I started to think about selling it. My friend is very good trader and he advised me to keep all my BTC now and try to get some free coins from different forks because when BTC will be completely down forks will be more actual and valuable. That's why I am here to ask you how to get that fork coins for free? I have found very good fork calling Bitcoin Interest but I just can't understand how to do that.  Tell me please the best way to do that. Thanks in advance !
Yes, in the past few months, the price of bitcoin has dropped a lot, we've been waiting for a long time, and the price of bitcoin hasn't recovered yet. Many people are panicking about selling bitcoins because prices have been falling. I think the price of bitcoin is near the bottom now, so we should choose to wait.

Bitcoin price is getting down just like ski slop!
Is bitcoin over? do you think bitcoin will recover their price?
I'm afraid, I lost my everything almost 2million....
Now that the price of bitcoin has begun to recover, it is not over, and the price of bitcoin has fallen temporarily. You're not alone. Many bitcoin investors have lost a lot of money. But many do not choose to sell bitcoin, and they remain, patiently waiting for the price to recover.

Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?
by
EugeneJanet
on 06/04/2018, 18:04:36 UTC
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
This possibility exists, but there is no such thing as a cryptocurrency that replaces bitcoin as the king of all cryptocurrencies. There are some better cryptocurrencies than bitcoin, but they can't replace bitcoin. So I don't think there's going to be an encrypted acquisition in the short term to replace bitcoin.

Re: Has the Bitcoin Price Bottomed?

Is $9350 the bottom and the start of the next wave up?  It was a strong retracement level, if it break we could be looking at $8800 as the next one.
I am hopeful of it holding, just wondering what others were thinking?

It's amazing how much bitcoin is now worth $6,600. It has gone down a lot in the last few months, and we don't know when it will stop falling, and we can only choose to continue to hold or sell, which requires you to make your own choices.

Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment?
by
EugeneJanet
on 06/04/2018, 15:14:25 UTC
If you tell your friends and family about Bitcoin without giving them any sort of in-depth financial advice and they go ahead and invest, how do you deal with it when the market dips very low and they silently blame you for losing them money.
Yes, we all know that investing in bitcoins is risky, but we can't control that risk. When my friends ask me about bitcoin, I don't want to persuade them to invest in bitcoin, because I'm not sure I can guarantee that they won't lose money.

Will Bitcoin come down to $1K after India Govt Ban. Please vote on this and share this with your friend.

Read the article for more information - https://ambcrypto.com/bitcoin-btc-banned-in-india-reserve-bank-of-india-releases-an-official-statement/
It's important to verify the authenticity of information. I can now tell you explicitly that this is a fake message. The Indian government has not banned bitcoin, but it still has a negative effect on the price of the currency, its price dropped a lot, because there are many like you listen to fake news become panic and sell the bitcoin

Yeah now is when a lot of traders are probably selling after purchasing around 6k. this time buy more Btc or ETH ? Or Both ? To trade with of course... thanks a lot
I think you can try both, which is the best solution. Both bitcoin and ETH are good crypto currencies, and I now have them both. Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies, and eth has great potential, and it is thought that eth will replace bitcoin in the future.

Re: Bitter truth behind the market crash
by
EugeneJanet
on 04/04/2018, 18:07:04 UTC
The Crypto market is crashing...  Now BTC= 7400$ & Eth=400$

What happened to BTC?

1.Thousands of people came into the Crypto field and started buying in Dec/Jan. So the market hyped unbelievably.
80% of them have 0  technical knowledge about Cryptocurrencies.
90% of them does not believe in Bitcoin.
20% of them have absolutely no idea what a cryptocurrency is and how the market behaves.
70% of them just wanted some quick profit.

2.Some idiots bought and sold for quick money and dumped the market.
3.Some people got panic and started selling.
4.Whales saw this early and slowly sold part of their holdings. Now they are buying at low prices.

What happened to Eth and Ethereum tokens?

1.BTC going down = Eth going down
2.People with 0 crypto knowledge started investing in ICO's.
3.People with 0 crypto knowledge started doing bounties.
(Those are the spammers in Bitcointalk)
4.That two kind of people started dumping ICO's for quick earnings
5.Scam ICO's and useless ICO's came in to play.
6.Because of the ICO flood, ICO's became less profitable.
7. So some ICO investors lost their faith.
So Eth and most of its tokens crashed.

What happened to Other coins?

BTC going down = Every other coin going down

What will happen next?

1.Whales who sold for higher prices will buy slowly at low prices and will become 1.5* rich.
2.Some people will leave the Crypto market.
3.Believers will HODL.
4.The market will slowly recover.

Yes, now that the entire encryption market is falling, the market crash has not stopped. We don't know when it will stop falling, and I've lost a lot of money. Now many people have chosen to sell their encrypted currency to reduce losses, but I'm still holding out, and I'm sure it will start to recover soon.

Re: What factors can affect to price of bitcoin?
by
EugeneJanet
on 04/04/2018, 16:54:16 UTC
What factors can affect to price of bitcoin? Can price of bitcoin depend on world economic factors or economic occurrences?
I think there are many factors that affect the price of bitcoin. When there is bad news about bitcoin, the price of bitcoin falls. The attitude of some countries will also affect the price of bitcoin. When a country that originally banned bitcoin reaccepts bitcoin, it will also increase the price of bitcoin.

Re: Are Bitcoin miners still good to go?
by

Because it costs so much electricity, several countries have imposed restriction on mining activity?
Yes, because mining bitcoin requires a lot of electricity, some people think that mining bitcoin is a waste of energy, so it's against bitcoin. I think it's very, very, very important, so I think it's very important to develop new sources of energy to explore bitcoin.

Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin?
by
EugeneJanet
on 04/04/2018, 12:16:39 UTC
Bitcoin has been around the borders of financial markets for less than a decade, but is slowly gaining importance as an alternative asset class.
Can the government of any major country step in and do the unlikely?
I think yes, any government can ban bitcoin, but I don't think it will ever make bitcoin dead. Because bitcoin is traded on the Internet, its investors come from all over the world, and bitcoin does not die from a country's ban. If a country bans bitcoin, it can still trade.

Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime?

Possesses bitcoin as well as holding a gun  Huh Smiley Huh
http://bitcoinnews.com/cryptocurrencies-gun-crime-canada/
Owning bitcoin is a crime. Are you kidding? Governments in many countries now recognise the legitimacy of bitcoin and accept it. If you think criminals are using bitcoin for a crime, it's illegal to think that bitcoin is illegal. If criminals use legal money to commit crimes, is it illegal and the answer is no.

Re: Criminality and Bitcoin

https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.
I doubt it. I don't think bitcoin will lead to a big increase in crime. I believe that most criminals still use fiat money as a crime. Only a small number of criminals use bitcoin, which does not affect the crime rate. But most people don't know much about bitcoin, and they hear too much bad news about bitcoin, which leads people to blame bitcoin for the rise in crime.

Re: stop listening to false news
by
EugeneJanet
on 02/04/2018, 18:02:50 UTC
The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another.   A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto".   What the...    Why is it causing another crash??  Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017.   All trading platforms suspended trading in September.   Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms.   Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall.   So what?  These people have VPNs!   When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs.   Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago.   So what?  Everyone is still using it.   Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth!   Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times).   Do not fall for it!
1.  Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2.  September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3.  November or December?  China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4.  January 2018.  China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5.  Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"...  (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"Huh
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"Huh
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"Huh??

Stop spreading this nonsense.    What's done was already done in September 2017.   Nothing has changed ever since.  NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news.   South Korea did not really ban crypto.  Just one guy wanted to ban it.  It was not approved, nor implemented.   So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously.   So what?   Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto.  Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto.  No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.   The sad thing is, people are falling for it.   The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened.   Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news".   Use our brains.   Not hearsay from yellow journalism.   It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

Yes, now often appear some false news about the COINS, but many people can't tell the truth of the news, most of the fake news is bad news for the currency, it will make people panic. Next, people will choose to sell bitcoins because of panic, which will cause great loss.

Re: Can Governments Kill Bitcoin?
by
EugeneJanet
on 01/04/2018, 18:59:30 UTC
The latest news is that the US government is look closely at Bitcoin. A number of governments such as Russia and China are also planning to issue their own digital currencies. They clearly see a financial threat from Bitcoin.

What do you think? Can governments kill Bitcoin and replace it with their own digital/crypto currency?
Will the government kill bitcoin? I don't think so. Bitcoin can bring a lot of revenue to the government. The government finds its own digital currency, and if it kills bitcoin, the encryption market will collapse, which is bad for the entire encryption market.

Re: Do you keep buying?
by
EugeneJanet
on 31/03/2018, 17:43:58 UTC
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?
Yes, I will continue to buy bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin is right for me, I will choose to keep buying it. Now the price of bitcoin continues to fall, and I think it's about to get to the bottom. I choose to buy now, and I think bitcoin will recover soon.

Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.
I think bitcoin will always be there. As long as bitcoin has a value, it will not die. Bitcoin is now accepted in many countries around the world. In some countries, bitcoin is used as a payment method in life, which will help the value of bitcoin.

Now I feel worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto in general because every time there was a price correction I saw most people are not worried about the price and they all had the same opinion about it, they all said to wait and hold your coins or buy new more, but now I see that there are different opinions about it, that makes me really afraid of what happens now.

is it serious guys that it is over or what?
The price of bitcoin has been falling for the past few days. It went from $8,100 to $6,800 now, and it's still going down, and we don't know when it's going to stop falling. But I'm not worried about the end of bitcoin. I think it's only temporary, and it will soon return to normal.

As we Know Today bitcoin Is Worth Of USD $9108
is to late for me to buying it ?
It is too late to invest on this BTC BTC?
any good reason why i should buy bitcoin now? or just watching?
thanks!
I don't think it's a good time to buy bitcoins. The price of bitcoin is still falling, but it will not fall so fast. So instead of investing in bitcoin, you should choose to wait patiently, and I think bitcoin will soon stop falling.

Everyone has their own judgment. They felt that the drop in bitcoin was temporary, so they chose to keep it. If you start to worry, you can now choose to sell all of your encrypted currency, so you can reduce a lot of losses.
