But demand for offline crypto purchases is growing. Maybe not so fast, but still it is. And so I think that payment technologies will also be developed..

Why not add paying in crypto via Google Pay? Of course, it's way to hard to make it real guys  but its so easy nice way deevelop techonlogie. Not get into nittey greedy. Just an idea.

Hahah... but that's the problem! As you call them nitty greedy stop developers from something big... I bet it would take a ton of human and other resources to implement as I know. Also, pandemic makes everything lingered.. So we can forget about it now.

I read somewhere Samsung presented a chip to protect cryptocurrency transactions on mobile devices. Sounds interesting...this is another step towards the development of offline payment by crypto...what do you think guys? Would like to get your opinion.

The truth is that you can buy almost anything with Bitcoin these days… there are things that you wouldn't imagine but you might just come across someone that owns that and decides to sell it and receive cryptocurrency as a payment. Though the only thing is that there are major companies that has refused to accept cryptocurrency as mode of payment, just like Amazon and eBay. But it seems like eBay would be accepting the new Fb Libra coin that is coming out in 2020. The only problem now is that I don't even know if I will be using the Facebook, don't know how it's going to be.
Modultrade is not big one but with lots of advantages like ow exchange and wallet. I'd like more sellers in the future.

As someone who publishes notes sometimes it's always better to do on verified well-known cources: Medium, Reddit..so on. When I am ready to monetize the contect generated I'll need to be an editor at the zine or news site.. but it's next to impossible for me.

No, I don't agree upon that. At all. Plus there exist multiple platforms to help monitize user gerated context, say, the above mentioned Steemit or Taklimkan.

I think this is exactly where you want to be. I know places like ccn and so forth are fully paid stuff and there is barely anything new in there that we don't already know but honestly if you keep going to those places then they will continue to get paid for press releases and this will continue in a circle, you need to stop reading those places and they will have less visitors which means people will pay less to them so they will have to make better journalism.

Just visit here and read topics here and messages so forth, go visit reddit as well since its user generated and votes decide what is good and what is bad which means press releases get down voted to hell. Aside from this two that is basically controlled by the general public you do not need any new place.

Reddit's been pretty dull lately. Just weekly top token threads or top alts to buy subreddits... for the most part.

I read blogs on taklimakan. It's a new platform, but the keep proving people trust in themwith lots of money raised in tokensale.Use their rating system to select the best content on the platform.

Looked through it quickly. So, it's pretty cool.. Lots of various content, which is good. Also paid attention to the rating system. It's like if you don't like a low-quality content the system helps you with that.

Tired of reading news platforms that are nothing but paid press-releases and interviews with yet another 'successful' founder of 'put any ico/ieo you could think of', I came up with an idea to search and study user-generated crypto platforms that could outstrip the other ones here on the Net.

The goal is to finally find an aggregator type of a platform with decent reviews, analytics, etc. No doubt the idea is pretty simple and trivial and there's already such a site as bitcointalk (which is number 1 rn), but I don't remember seeing files in a long read format often.

So, replying to the following questions would help me immensely:
Which of the platforms do you use and why?
What other platforms except for Bitcointalk forum you read?
Do you have your own blog on any of the platforms?

I have felt such unease too as regards cryptocurrency related news churches out from different corners knowing that they are all influenced news. I think the only better option is Cointelegraph.com since they are more like a general social platform with reportage on various aspects of cryptocurrency and its development

Although Cointelegraph is really one of the best news platforms to me and I use it all the time, I'm thinking of other platforms with user-generated content. The reason is I want to look at things fand what's hapening in crypto from a different, very common angle.

Hodl is the best strategy imho, but the main thing here is not to miss all the project's news and updates. You can't just buy tokens and wait for the moon just because you are more likely to reach the bottom this way Smiley
