Re: ETH back to the price ~ $ 300

We will not be surprised when ETH is rising again and i think it will fluctuate around $ 8.00 by the end of this year. And investing in ETH now will maximize profits.

Don't you think $8.00 is too low for ETH? Do you mean $800?

everything could be , but i cant imagine that ..
hope eth will help alts to raise ..
 Shocked

I do not think that it is worth worrying if the price of Ethereum falls, it will still recover and will grow even more.

It seems the price is already recovering.

Oh no, again noob accounts bashing around about miner fees for the miner that has no-fee option...  Roll Eyes

I think it is not a problem to report what he finds.

I do not have this problem. The EWBF works well over the past two months. But it stops after mining for a few hours now. I wonder if anybody has such problem as well.

Re: Is electroneum mining worth it?

on 03/03/2018, 13:47:49 UTC
I tried to mine electroneum with my cpu and I dont find it good for me. The hash rate was pretty decent but the coins I do get after a block mined is not worth my time or the work I am putting into it.

Do you guys think that mining electroneum with gpu is worth a try or just failure?

reply from miners appreciated.

If you think there is some future about it, then speed some hashing power.

The Bitcoin Cash could be a good candidate as it has larger block size and lower fee.

Funky artifacts including jagged black triangles on screen

sounds like VRAM that's unstable  (too low voltage, too high clock, too tight timings, etc)

I bet if rip the plate off it says Hynix on those chips. Sad gpu-z is reporting Samsung RAM but it must use a bit of Hynix for something.

OMG stay away from MSI and cards with Hynix RAM or you'll end up so butt-hurt your asshole will drag on the ground behind you as you walk.

what the problem with the hynix all my gpus are hynix and they doing very well, support the most tight timing and clocks and very stable, i got recently 2 samsung and what a pain to make its stable.

Some people think Samsung is better.

I think a lot depends on what Bitcoin does from here.

If it consolidates and then continues the bull run, ETH and other alts will suffer until Bitcoin takes a rest.

If Bitcoin crashes then Ethereum is the natural successor (at this point) and will do very well indeed.

That is right. If the problem of the bitcoin is solved faster, other altcoins will suffer as people will go back to bitcoin.

He is also plainly wrong with this:
"Nobody knew what bitcoin was five or ten years ago."

Some of the "nobodies" that knew 5-8 years ago are probably now wealthier than Peter.

If Peter bought 1000 bitcoin 5 years ago, he would be rich.

The miner will get higher zec, falling to 0.2. The profit will also change little.

The mining profit has reduced a lot in the last three months.

I added 3 more  msi  rx 470  the rack is now at 19 of them. I am getting 1 today  it will be at 20 of them.

I will do some photos later today.

Do you add the cards from the mining profit or use the extra cash?

i think it will be a great pump of zcash in december, after a slow start and low price near 0.05-0.07btc. wait and then make money)

That will only happen after the big whales have accumulated enough. It might not be ready in December.
it will be more and more coins every day. I told about december because the date of slow start ending is the nearest date of something could happen. Then i will not see really big causes for pump. except whales accumulating, of cours. But for more strong pump they nedd some information activity and news, i think.

There would be no news hence  whales do appear on random ways  and the  price increase  will surely be visible for all  and that means the whales  have just bought  zcash  but i think it wont happen on this upcoming december but well who knows on what will happen on zcash, price drops drastically since on the beggining.

I think the pumper will wait until the Z address is implemented properly, then they will pump the coins a lot.
who knows) Only big daddys, and we can just think. For people, who want to make a risky money - look at polo and ZEC buywall. Looks like zec will make some falls with local little pumps. fall till 0.07 then little pump, then fall to 0.061 - then little pump again. during whis game slow start ends, btc bullrun ends and who knows, maybe after all this it will be big zec pump. As for me - I will wait now. Don't want to play with zec, very high risk.
fuck me, it was real surprise for me yesterday. from 0.08 to 0.0135 and now zec is in consolidation phase. who knows what will be next. I cant belive that big pump will be untill slow start ends.

It depends on the confidence of the miners. If they do not want to keep their ZCash, then the price could be lower.

i'm not sure is a good idea to go crazy for zcash, this kind of coins get overhyped and then they dump harder. If Zcash end up to be more profitable than etc or eth then claymore probably will create a miner for it.

It depneds on the price. If it is around $50 each, then it is not over priced. If it is $80, then it is over priced.

It does not matter if there are many fuders in the forum. It seems that the ETH and ETC has survived clearly.

Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ?
by

on 03/10/2016, 17:55:42 UTC
I think one can't guess bitcoin future because now is stable and no one knows what will be the future of bitcoin. Even astrologer also can't guess. Just what we can do is wait and watch the action infront of our eyes. But let's hope for the best that bitcoin price will rise in future so that we can sell out holding bitcoin for making extra profit.

As long as the bitcoin is developed actively and the infrastructure of the bitcoin is being built, the price will rise.

The future of btc is determined  by the users. The greater the number of  btc users, the greater the future  of btc itself. We are the ones able to raise btc,  spreading the word  about it, and encouraging people  to use bitcoin in  their daily lives...

That is right. We are the promoter of the bitcoin. If we also own some bitcoin, We will be rewarded in the future.

There are considerable chances that in the next years bitcoin may achieve worldwide adoption, as a global cryptocurrency. I hope that happen as soon as possible. That way all of us could benefit from it.

I think it will not happen in the next few years unless there is another big financial crisis so that people will find the benefit of bitcoin.

in present bitcoin is spreading too fast.though all people of world not using bitcoin but in the future bitcoin will spreas more & more. Many country will accept bitcoin like fiat and many store, shop will accept bitcoin as a payment method. So,bitcoin will be more popular in future.
Hopefully. When people understand the ease of use and the financial benefits that it can bring there will be more places accepting the currency.

I have bought some bitcoin a few years ago. I am using some of the bitcoin all the time to buy some goods to help adoption.

I'm an economically minded noob.  What does the market cap mean for me and the value of the bitcoin I hold personally?  How is it a good thing?  Will it increase adoption, value, distribution?  Can it answer some of the questions I outlined here in the following thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1489137.new#new
Im not like you in 100% cjmoles " economically minded noob " (but you made me laugh buddy Cheesy) but i
still dont know too what actually market cap means.
Anyone up to help me understand it?

bitcoins that exists * value of bitcoins

(value can be dollars or shekel or grandpa cookies, w/e)

How is the value calculated if each exchange has his own rate and sometimes there is a big gap between them? Usually Huobi is $20 ahead of btc-e

That could be volume weighted average. But you have to exclude lots of volumes in the Chinese exchanges.

The trading volume in China is useless as the trading fee is 0%. The volume can be artificially high there.

That is right. So when I calculate the volumes, I will not count the volumes in the Chinese exchanges.
