When my friend told me about cryptocurrency and how one can act make money without having to invest ...I was skeptical.
I could remember telling her off and saying she would be scammed.
She persisted ,so I joined early 2018 and even though the market has been unfavorable ever since then..I have been able to offset some debts and take care of my self without having to disturb my family

Re: Do you need cash for everyday use?
by

I am yet to see a market place that accepts cryptocurrency in exchange for the purchase of goods and services.
So making cash available for users who one way or the other wants to purchase with their Digital assets direct is a welcomed development.
I think it would encourage user participation.

Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC
by
Ezenwanyi
on 27/04/2019, 19:35:52 UTC
I do think that bitcoin is the future of payment as fast as cryptocurrency is concerned.
Bitcoin will not die as some people would want us believe.
Those who understands cryptocurrency and the concept of bitcoin know that bitcoin will be here in so many years to come.

Re: Bitcoin will Hit 6000$ Before april last date ?
by

on 27/04/2019, 19:17:39 UTC
It is actually in your right to expect bitcoin price to hit $ 6000k by the end of the April which is 2 days from today.
And it is possible for bitcoin to hit that target considering the volatile nature of cryptocurrency.

Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years
by
Ezenwanyi

The idea of holding is good but I will suggest that one swings trafe once in a while while holding as it has proved to be a goid strategy of acquiring more coins.
I think that the altcoins that would never recover in price are the worthless coins that has no usecase.

Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC?

In as much as xrp is one of the good altcoins .
I do not think that it would be ableto defeat bitcoin both in popularity and price etc.
But then this is cryptocurrency and the rule is " never say never" as anything is possible here .

Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC?
by
Ezenwanyi

I will advise that the person do not follow all those pump and dump groups.
The person should as a matter of necessity get basic understanding of how the cryptocurrency market works .....the application of the knowledge might   suffice at a later date when confused about the right time to sell or buy more.

Re: What's your plan if you bought around all time high?
by
Ezenwanyi

I bought during that period too.
My strategy has been to see and buy back at a lower price compared to the price I sold.
I think it's better than just holding it and doing nothing waiting for the market recovery.

Re: Is Bitcoin technology and as a currency different?
by
Ezenwanyi
on 25/04/2019, 18:01:04 UTC
It was the creation of bitcoin that brought about the blockchain technology.
The blockchain technology is simply the technological structure of bitcoin.
Yes, it seems you are inorrect going by your assertion that people always discuss price in the forum.
I have seen threads where the technological aspect of bitcoin is discussed on the forum.

Of course that is correct.
If one lacks patience and perseverance, he or she will not likely be successful here.
To be successful one needs to wear patience like a garb... Just like you pointed out.

What if after selling the coin, the price starts pumping hard.
So to be on a dmsafer side, I would sell part of my holdings of the coin and add fiat from my pocket to buy the hyped coin.

Re: How adoption will happen
by
Ezenwanyi

I believe that adoption of the blockchain technology would start from sec and then the public.
The way things are going in cryptosphere with regards to the sec, I think the sec has overwhelming influence over blockchain.

Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries?
by
Ezenwanyi
on 23/04/2019, 07:19:45 UTC
I believe the large user base of bitcoin in developed countries could be attributed to the fact that there is access to Internet and it's affordable too.
Another factor is mentality of the people.... majority of the people who got introduced to Bitcoin in my country (under-developed)view Bitcoin to be scam while this of the developed countries see it different and then embraced the technology.

Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency.

Government supporting Cryptocurrency over it's national currency is not that possible .
But assuming it happens, I believe it would go a long way in accelerating mainstream adoption of the blockchain technology.

I think your submission has answered the question here.
Hack is the highest cryptocurrency crime .
I would have said scam, but I realized it's still same with havking of ones account because it revolves around loss of funds and getting the victims frustrated and depressed.

Re: The problem of getting bitcoin in the future
by
Ezenwanyi
on 20/04/2019, 14:04:19 UTC
The problem associated with getting bitcoin in the future can only steemit from the price factor....that is if the price is too high for investors.
Like some analysts predicted that the price of bitcoin in the first quarter of 2020 would be over $85k. So you see at this price not many who would want to own bitcoin could afford it .
Another issue is mainstream adoption, if bitcoin becomes generally accepted in the future as a payment medium, it would make it easier for the public to own it otherwise, reverse would be the case.

I think that binance new partnership with compliance companies is a welcomed development, as it would build trust and confidence amongst investors in cryptosphere.
It will also go a long way in helping the government fight money laundering  crimes , and all such activities.

I think that after binance and kucoin coin that the next good exchange coin is huobi .
I said this because huobi is a good exchange and it's coin seems to be undervalued right now.

Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade
by
Ezenwanyi
on 18/04/2019, 13:07:50 UTC
That is correct.
I noted this during a dicoursewith my crypto friends.
I told them after that binance held it's first launch pad that the IEO model is far from being transparent.
If you look further, you will find out to your amazement that it's mostly the project team and the exchange team that are buying bulk of the tokens.
