I totally agree that not everyone is helped by this system and I think majority of the users that are helped here are the well known managers and admins in this forum. The gap between those who want to start and the veterans in this forum just become wider. I feel sad for those jr members who just got an opportunity to join their first campaign and have to deal with this unfair system.

I think Eth, Waves and IOTA will continue to have proper growth. Even though it is currently experiencing dump like any other alts, I still see them as the most used and the most valued. Also, They have been consistent to the rate of their growth since early last year.

If you mean ICO projects then yes. ICO is the leading activity in which more tokens are introduced to exchange site meaning more currency and money are flowing. Not not all ICO are worth investing in for example, Ripple has dumped in value to less than 50% of its peak value. This shows that not all ico are good for long term investment but still if some withdrawn from ripple early on then its still a lot of profit.

You are right that its a good strategy to just hold but what's more better is to buy now specially all tokens are dumping and all coins are dumping. Its a good stock marketing strategy that is even applied on a real stock market.

Why no hold both. Since bitcoin and eth as of now are starting to drop, its the perfect timing to buy these coins and hold them then wait for it to pump. This dump is obviously happening almost every year. Look for the candlestick diagram of coin's value for the past 3 years and compare the similarities.

Hold Eth. The growth of eth is undeniable fast when the year comes close to the 3rd quarter. I think you'll have more profit from eth than from waves.

Etherium because it drop early this year and is a great opportunity to buy eth and wait for it to grow fast later this year.

Ripple is a big flop now. As you can see in its market value, the hype is already done. Nope im not looking forward to ripple at all.

Scattering your money to different coin is a win. You are not limiting your money to an isolated coin behavior. Just know when to move out of an investment because many lose their investment due to moving out too early or too late.

i think the drop of coins is normal specially when its the start of the year. You can check the past value movement of coins for the past years and youll see the similarities so no. im not worried at all.
