Yes that is what I heard about his last whereabouts as well. I'm happy though because Bitcoin needed to keep it's anonymity factor to the creator otherwise it wouldn't be what it is today.

Re: At what price point per BTC will it be too late for the average person
by
FJNuñez
on 29/10/2017, 13:47:27 UTC
It is getting close to that point but we're not there yet. If you can buy them for under 10k then you are still winning because the majority of the world doesn't even know what BTC is yet.

Bitcoin is absolutely changing the world and I love it. It had provided us with a transparent public ledger which will never be changed or tampered with and this is revolutionary.

Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes
by

So is cash. Money will always be used by criminals as they are on the fringe of the market and always use the most cutting edge technology, but BTC's system is designed to thwart bad actors and promote good.

No Bitcoin is not gambling, in fact I would say it's quite the opposite. That is if you are able to just buy and hold BTC though, but if you start investing it and playing with altcoins then ya you're gambling.

No one can destroy Bitcoin. How can you destroy a decentralized computer network that has so much has power behind it securing it? It's impossible now, maybe when it first came out ya.

Re: "but money is backed by gold and bitcoin not" how would you answer to this?
by
FJNuñez
on 27/10/2017, 14:52:33 UTC
You would say that FIAT, not money, is not backed by gold it's back by nothing right now that's a fact. The dollar used to be backed by gold, but that implies gold has some sort of intrinsic value, but it doesn't beyond being a great universal ledger which is a way to keep track of debt.

Re: Will bitcoin replace gold?
by
FJNuñez
on 27/10/2017, 13:49:11 UTC
Yes. Bitcoin is already replacing gold, look at the price. The is not for no reason either. It is because Bitcoin is a better store of value than gold for storing long terms of wealth.

Re: Could Bitcoin’s Bubble Lead to Long Crypto Winter?
by
FJNuñez

Well the good thing is that the bubbles are becoming smaller and smaller. With that being said I think this is just a little suppression before people realize 2X is just a hoax.

Re: Argentina will add 200 new Bitcoin atrons machines in October
by

That is smart of Argentina as it will get more people to spend it. Then the country can stack up reserves of Bitcoin and this will have real value over the long term.

Re: Are the banks going to kick-out bitcoin with their new digital coin
by
FJNuñez

The banks are most certainly not going to kick-out Bitcoin with their new digital coin. Why would their digital coin have any value? Their network would be insecure and worthless.

Re: A Crypto Fund King Says Bitcoin Will Be the Biggest Bubble Ever
by
FJNuñez
on 22/10/2017, 22:59:09 UTC
Whatever Crypto Fund King you are listening to doesn't know what they're talking about. Bitcoin is the farthest thing from a bubble because of it's immutable ledger and scarce amount of coins.

Re: where is the anonimity?
by
FJNuñez
on 22/10/2017, 21:43:29 UTC
The anonymity is wherever you know where to find it. It is also coming with the Grin blockchain and the MimbleWimble protocol, but right now Samourai Wallet is the best way to transact anonymously on the BTC network.

by

There are no real general instructions and precautions to keep in mind when mining bitcoins because it is not worth it. Whatever money you were going to invest in mining rigs, use it to invest in BTC directly.

Re: Filipino Regulators Unveil Cryptocurrency Guidelines as Bitcoin Popularity Soars
by
FJNuñez

Regulators are going to try and step in and scare whatever percentage of the population that still believes in government or MSM. But the more they mess up the more people will gravitate towards Bitcoin.

Re: Where does Bitcoin came from?
by
FJNuñez

Bitcoin came from a cryptographer mailing list where one person, or group, released a technical paper that proposed a peer-to-peer electronic cash system based on cryptographic proof.

Re: Should I invest now or wait a while?
by
FJNuñez

You should invest what you can now and continue to invest until 20k even. But invest as much as you can now as it will be harder to buy more in the future.

The way you earn Bitcoin without investing is either by buying some and just holding them. Or if you can get people to send you them through work or a skill or service you might be able to offer.

Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins?
by

It is not risky to turn all your money into bitcoins especially if you are comfortable doing what you are doing so this means using private keys and storing seeds, etc.
