Going into 2018 we need to start working together to clarify ZERO and what it stands for. At the moment, as new members join our community new platforms are emerging. These need to be clarified and condensed to direct all of our energies.

Firstly... we need to clarify the Name of this Coin... Is it ZERO, ZeroCoin or ZeroCurrency..

According to the websites, twitter and facebook this is coin is called ZeroCurrency. However, according to www.reddit.com/r/ZeroCurrency/ the reddit thread has now moved to www.reddit.com/r/ZeroCoins/

I assumed this is because mr_lou_cifer and Zero-Community haven't been active on reddit so AhaGo took over. ZeroCoins does look very professional and I thank AhaGo for his efforts.

however, I think is must be made clear on reddit and on other platforms that they are pages for the cryptocurrency ZERO for clarity.

What I think would be helpful to the community would be to have something like the following put in the side bar for all social media pages:

Hello everyone!

Another exciting week and considering this is one where most are busy with family and festivities it highlights even more so the interest being generated in Zero.

So.. this is a community takeover so we must organize ourselves in the same fashion. DM has taken the reigns and done an incredible job but we all need to chip in and support where we can to keep the machine rolling on.

I kindly request that everyone private message me of what they would like to see in the road map. What they feel is important to keep Zero true to itself and how we can fulfill its potential.

Also.. we need all of us to keep an eye out for errors or mistakes in our material (website etc) in order to keep self refining.

love the new reddit page. much more professional... now lets get posting.. what I have learnt is that it is best to refrain from price discussion.. otherwise these threads become clutttered.

instead we should try have focused discussions on the coins merits, or changes in tech / policy / development that will affect Zero.

I would just like to comment that whilst we, as a community, obviously hope for fully committed members to engage often especially in a project as early on as we are. I do not think that individuals should be singled out especially on a group forum for the sole reason that it is a presentation of the community itself.

We must remember to think about how our posts will present the community.. this page (15) demonstrates an unharmonious, negatitive group that already has tension early on.... This will not benefit us.

I understand that we are passionate but do not forget that we are not able to fully understand each individuals lives, their outside commitments, their level of commitment to this group nor should we want to. It is not our place to judge.

Please do not attack/call out individuals unless they have been obviously malicious... Tearo has said he will be transfering the funds into the community address.. the very least we can do grace Tearo the opportunity to do this.

This is a community takeover so we must act as a community.. where individuals fall or slow.. others must pick up the slack.. this is the way the machine will keep moving.

What I love about this community is seeing that pretty much everyday there is a new page full of comments.

that being said... we still need to bring that energy to reddit. there are always a handful of people on the page and if we all just take a few minutes of the day to post a discussion piece of comment soon it will have the same energy of this page.

So have noticed the following which we should look at to increase the Zero community and awareness of Zero:

Reddit:

At the moment it comes across as a very new reddit thread (which it is) but also as an inactive one. I suggest that the thread itself is updated visually to look more inviting:

Sample description in the right hand side to include:

- The website link
- Community resources links relating to Zero (i..e. bitcointalk etc)
- Exchange links
- Wallet Link (would be helpful if the link led to another reddit page with a tutorial on downloading and using the wallet. Will also allow the community to make comments on the wallet)
- Block Explorer link

Apperance:

- The appearance needs an update. Would be great to integrate a banner and symbol
- Original  post by Zero-community has a blue and white Z symbol that is not consistent with the website / bitcoincoin talk coin symbol. suggest this is removed/changed

Community discussion

- of course there is no point in update the visual aspect without the community participating in constant discussion. I'd say that this thread on BCT is one of the most active so we just need to transfer that energy to Reddit.

Website

- Apart from the home page link, if I click on any other link (about us, features etc) the webpage link read Zerro (2 R's) would suggest to change this typo.
- Roadmap... I would say this is one of the most important pages that needs to be filled. We as a community should define what is the roadmap for the coin. what important aspects of the coin need developing and what its usage will be in the future and why it is necessary.

- http://zeroexplorer.forgetop.com/richlist shows incorrect wealth distribution percentages i.e. the Top 1-25 having   1933720.48482846 ttl Zero which equates to 455.54 % of total supply of Zero.. I assume this is because the registered total current coin supply is incorrect.
- No Bitcoin price shown although there is a display for it

Wealth Distribution

- If zeroexplorer is correct than currenty there is a very imbalanced wealth distribution.
- It is inconsequential but it seems to be the consensus that so called whales are negative for any crypto community.  if this is the case would suggest that holders of large amounts of zero take their time to distribute their wealth between addresses to minimise appearance of an imbalanced community.

I agree. we need to work together to systematic on the development of all fronts of the coin. dont forget that the slogan is quickly becoming the 'community takeover' so we need to uphold that sentiment. perhaps some infogrpahics of what the coin does/is would be good for twitter/reddit plus the road map etc.

hello.. any reason why withdrawing from Cryptopia to the wallet is slow slow? currently been over 10 minutes and still nothing

an infographic with all this information would be cool for the website. would also help define the coin and by extension the road map of what is needed to mature the coin i.e. what do we want this coin to be and how do we get there

Thank you!! This works great now! So everytime I close down and load the wallet I am never prompted for any password and the wallet just loads up. So if someone steals my laptop will they just be able to open up the wallet and start moving my funds.. thanks for all the help! loving this community

hello, I am not a technical person by any means.. I am trying to install this the windows wallet... could anyone help me with what the following means:

2. Edit zero.conf and set strong username/password (it will work even if you skip this option)

3. Start install_conf.bat by clicking on it.

4. Create a Desktop shortcut of ZEROSwingWalletUI.jar

fully understand may come across as a completely newbie but i suppose the key to growth is to also cater to the useless like me!
