People shouldn't get emotionally involved while making an investment or trading in general.

Information in the trollbox is as much worth as what you paid for it.

I've got 50 BTC worth invested.

If anyone thinks this is a real dump, you're mistaken.  This crash based on zero negative news is pure whale games.  This will be a top 3 coin in 2017.  Bitcoin, Monero, Synereo.

Buy cheap while you can, opportunity of a lifetime.

You are high on hopium, sir.

Faaz and matreciman, both guys with less than 6 posts. One of them with 1 post; saying "they refund me".

Come on bitpotato, you scammed people with the price change and now I think you are making fake accounts to clean your bad reputation.
Hope an admin check the IPs from where those "users" wrote; i bet it's the same as you.

Lol you're just being paranoid right there. I have an account here to discuss some issues i had with BP and i must say, its a very legit operation with no asskissing intentions. I love the way you could make some money out of this, that's why i've played the game a lot of times and i've gained like 80ltc in like a week or so, whilst others made maybe 50 a day or even more and some of them lost like everything.

Unfortunately, the game is losing the interests of potential players and therefor is no longer profitable on the long term. Sale prices are keep on dropping and botters are most likely to seize your potato before you could even blink your eyes. But i had some good luck a few times i guess..

I think the website needs to improve things to make it interesting to play again. If this trend is going to proceed, i guess within a week or two no one ever will buy a potato because of this:

50% Potato - Round 1 - collapsed @ 50LTC
50% Potato - Round 2 - collapsed @ 30LTC because 50 did not sell but 20 did.
50% Potato - Round 3 - collapsed @ 20LTC because 30 did not sell but 20 did
50% Potato - Round 4 - collapsed @ 10LTC because 20 did not sell but 5 did.

And so on till eventually no one will ever buy again and eventually drowns in the gutters of existence.
To bad cause id had great potential in the beginning. Just check this screenshot!

I would like to give these guys some credit for putting effort in sending refunds for flaws on their behalf.

I've lost like 22.07 coins last week and got very pissed about the fact they kept ignoring my messages.
After a while i've sent another email and they replied to me sayin they were very busy answering emails and such.

Long story short, they refunded my missing coins just a minute ago and i'm very happy to see that this is not a scam what so ever.

I'm keep on playing this game. The website has to be finetuned and therefore ppl should not complain but post some good feedback. Because eventually all the flaws will be ironed out!

Totally legit!

They need to drastically lower the starting prices.  With such high starting prices the top row is worthless.  There are usually one or two purchases and then no one touches it.  It's a really predictable pattern.  It's really easy to determine which purchase will net you money, and which will not.  People will slowly stop buying potatoes above a certain threshold, and that threshold will slowly get lower and lower until no one even buys the top potatoes.

The bottom row is not as predictable, but it's still easy to detect patterns.  Again, they need to lower the starting amount on these.  There should be one or two potatoes where someone can get in without much of an investment.  I would love to see a potato which increments a fixed amount (maybe 1 LTC) but has a quick time.

That's def true. Imagine seeing a potato with a minimum investment growing for day's or weeks to an utterly amount of LTC's. That would only be possible if the timer was programmed to about 24h like in the first days. That's more like a thrill than just waiting till the potato gets cooked and no one is buying it.

On the other hand, big gains attracts another kind of gamblers who are willing to take higher risks.

I recently noticed that the amount of time for awaiting payments has dropped from 7 minutes to 5 minutes.

Can we at least get a notice before you change something like this?  Due to the limited amount of time I wasn't able to send the funds and didn't manage to get my potato.

I'm using litecoinQt and as soon as i click the "Grab it!" button and send my payment, it's getting from "waiting "to "verifying" within a second. The whole procedure takes less than a minute or so. What are you using? Five minutes is plenty enough time (for most of us) to make a payment.

I will do that. They seem to deliver good and active support. And they provided refund in most cases, described on this thread. Fingers crossed!
