You were not getting 800mhs. You'd have been earning $75 per day on each card. You either read it wrong or misremembered.

Quick note for anybody using claymore who's hashing speed seems too low.

I'm on an RX480 8GB, was struggling to get over 350H/s, had tried a few miners and drivers.

I randomly tried to screw with the -h perimeter. If you don't put one it, it puts one in for you. I manually put in -h 800, and my hashes doubled to 620H/s. Then I tried -h 1024 and that's moved it to 650H/s. I will keep tweaking, but it's worth messing with if you're going slower than expected!

Cards have been mining ETH and ZEC just just fine for months, but office relocation forces sale.

Some minor plastic damage on one of the cards power connectors, no bearing on operation. Cards are fully working.

Whenever i've had problems like this, power supplies have been the culprit. I'd probably try taking a card or two out, and seeing if stability improves- then go from there once you've ruled power stability out or confirmed it's the problem.

Interested, but need more info. 1 or 2 PSU? 6 GPUs side by side? Maybe a picture of the innards would be nice.

Massive power use increase here also. So much so my R9 295X2 cards started melting all their wires, and my hash rate did not improve at all. Will have to roll back.

I highly recommend you don't install these on a 295X2 based rig.

If you can mine say 500 of whatever coin in a day, great. Or you can mine ETH and buy 1500 of that coin in the same day. So mine the ETH. Not romantic, but it's solid logic.
