Re: Where do you keep your private keys?? I need good ideas!!
by

Hello guys!

I wanna hear your opinions about that.
Where do you keep your private keys? In a safe? In your pocket? In your mind??

My private keys are just in the drawer as if they were worth nothing lol

I was thinking about buying a safe, but I think that big, so hard to hide, and just to store one piece of paper?

Give me ideas please =D

Do what works best for you. Simple is not always a bad thing, but just avoid the obvious (like a safe for example). Also, don't make it too complicated to where you will forget.

I don't recommend giving pieces of private key to random family members because too many factors could go wrong.

Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN?

who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

My main regret is not finding out about bitcoin earlier in life...although I'm not sure I would've taken as much risk on it back then as I would now. Maybe it happened for me that way for a reason then.

Re: Do you think HODL is bad for your health?

I find it kinda hard to HODL when the marketing is bearish... there is a lot of stress:p
Do you think going HODL might be bad for the health?Smiley

It can be! It all depends on how you handle it. It's very tempting to continuously check the market, which would be stressful. I could see this affecting people's health if they are always stressing in this manner.  Overall though, it shouldn't be. Just sit back and let it run its course.

Re: Snapchat Officially Confirmed the Ban of ICO Ads
by
FaithNlove_24
on 23/03/2018, 01:29:53 UTC
Following such giants as Facebook, Google and Twitter, Snapchat has officially announced its ban of ICO advertising on its platform.
Twitter is reported to plan to implement the announced ban in the coming weeks. There is no final confirmation, nevertheless, it is said that its ban will be also applied not only to ICOs ads but also it will affect cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges with some exceptions.
Will the price fall again?

Hearing this news makes me sad and a bit angry for the cryptocurrency world. This will hinder knowledge about cryptocurrency enormously. Why? Because the word scam was thrown around too much. There should've been a better solution to regulate ads vs completely banning ICO ads. Not everything is a scam.

Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?
by
FaithNlove_24
on 16/03/2018, 18:49:43 UTC
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

IF there were no legality issues behind this, it would be a great for bitcoin and a huge boost for the cryptocurrency world. Television advertisement is a huge way of publicity all over the world.

Re: Bitcoin As a subject in school

How about if there's a subject added in school
For crypto trading?

Maybe not as a full on subject, but I think this would be beneficial to the world as an elective at least. Make the topic optional so those who are interested the topic have an opportunity to learn without forcing it upon anyone. It should be taught somehow though because the future is constantly changing and evolving. Just like how people had to eventually learn how to use credit cards.

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

Offline wallet definitely preferred! I feel like this is the best way because only you truly have access to it. Therefore, making it the safest way as well.

Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin?
by
FaithNlove_24
on 16/03/2018, 18:05:35 UTC
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

The answer: power and fear. The government may deem it as "bad" because they don't have any control over it. They don't have power over cryptocurrency which also causes them to fear the unknown.

Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever?

I just got this question in my mind. What will happen if no one knows about the pasword of his/her acount will it posibly deduct to the main supply of bitcoin? Example bitcoin was 21million supply and one man got 1 million bitcoin he was holding and suddenly he died no one can open his wallet is it posible that the remaining 20 million bitcoin forever?

I am also under the impression that this remains true. Although, I could see potential changes to this in the future. If anyone has any links to current news on this, please share!

Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin!
by
FaithNlove_24
on 14/03/2018, 05:17:22 UTC
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

I think this is pretty neat. There are so many transactions occurring through fast food chains. It will be a great way for cryptocurrency transactions to be more commonly used in everyday situations. And it will help spread knowledge about cryptocurrency.

Re: Will the price be stable?
by
FaithNlove_24
on 14/03/2018, 04:52:39 UTC
I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?

I am going to have to agree with the majority of the responses that I've seen stating that the answer to this would be no. It is all about supply and demand. Bitcoin may stabilize for some time period in on-going cycles, but as for reaching an infinite point of constant stability.. very slim chance.

Re: Bitcoin in College???
by
FaithNlove_24

Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

I think it would be great if there could be more courses on bitcoin all over the world since bitcoin is and will be a huge part of this generation and future generations to come and is already spreading worldwide. Realistically, this may not happen until later on, but I do see a big potential for this to happen.

Re: Bitcoins came in Big Bang Theory.
by
FaithNlove_24
on 07/03/2018, 04:42:29 UTC
Big Bang theory is a world wide watched show and needs no introduction, a while back they featured a show in which they talked about bitcoins, not only did they explain it, they even played real life scenarios of so many people who mined early on but forgot or lost them.

We often speak about getting this on television, theatres and boys and girls we have made the big jump, as and when people will see bitcoins shall get more and more publicity.

What do you'll think will this show help bitcoins grow? My view yes I'm bullish on this.

Personally, any sort of introduction of bitcoin to the world will help spread awareness, especially in the television industry. I like this show and I'm glad that they dedicated an episode to bitcoin. I am definitely going to go find this episode to watch and if it is a fair representation of bitcoin then I will most certainly be sharing this episode with others.

Hi All,

Given the Chinese govt bans, what is the future of NEO?

Thanks in advance

Considering what NEO has offered so far, the potential seems very promising for the future. I'm fascinated to see how big NEO will truly become.

Re: Facebook marketing ban - Will google follow?
by

Hey all,

What do you think? Will google ban ICO marketing?
How will that effect investers to you opinion?

Further read:
https://www.coinannouncer.com/ico-ban-will-google-follow-facebooks-steps/

Overall, I don't see Google following in the same path as FB. And I am going to have to disagree with Mr. Stanfords opinion that, “Regulation will only speed up adoption by bringing it more attention.” There has to be a better method to weed out what is real and what isn't, or at least I hope there will be.

Re: Which type of coins will be strong in 2018?
by
FaithNlove_24
on 20/02/2018, 04:55:17 UTC
Everybody asks which coins will increase but I would rather ask which type of coins will increase?

Do you think coins like Bitcoin, BitcoinCash, Litecoin?
or Privacy coins -like McAfee said- like Monero, Verge, Dash, Pivx
or Smart Contract coins: like Ethereum, Neo, Waves, Komodo, Qtu

another increasing type is Finance coins: Link, Salt, Hshares, BCPT

What is your opinion and why?

Very interesting question. I believe that all of them will continue to grow because there is still a demand for them. However, the one that will increase the most is honestly up for grabs...maybe whatever society deems popular at the time perhaps? In saying so, Smart Contract coins tend to stay on the rise, but privacy coins may also be increasing in popularity in my opinion.

Re: Blockchain in healthcare
by
FaithNlove_24
on 20/02/2018, 04:47:36 UTC
Hi all,

Currently I'm looking into different blockchain applications in the healthcare space.
I was wondering which ones are considered as best-practices, and if I'm missing big ones.

This is no investment question at all, just genuine interest in how blockchain can disrupt the healthcare industry.

Thanks for helping me complete this list!

Data management:
- Medibloc
- Medicalchain
- Patientory

Supply chain:
- Gem
- Chronicled

Genome sequencing
- Encrypgen

This topic definitely intrigues me. If crypto could somehow find a way to play a larger hand in healthcare, I think that would resolve a lot of issues and open up so many possibilities! If anyone has any good reads I would love more information on this.

Re: Do you like airdrops?
by
FaithNlove_24
on 20/02/2018, 03:46:04 UTC
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat (the airdrop is closed by now)

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?

I think airdrops are great. Opportunity to learn about a different coin, you receive free coins, and little time investment in the process. But always do some research before diving into anything.

Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children
by
FaithNlove_24
on 20/02/2018, 03:11:26 UTC
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

I think we should give a lot more credit to the upcoming generations in regards to what they understand about technology. It may be a lot easier to explain than you expect. This current generation grew up during a time of technology and I would use that to your advantage. Start off by relating to them with what they know about technology and go from there.. You can also use visuals like videos and graphics to help if necessary.
