Yes, it looks like a lot of other smart minds have thought of ways to generate some return on cryptocoins. I use https://defirate.com/lend/ to get an idea of where to place some coins for a bit of extra return. If a coin has been around for a few years and isn't listed at DefiRate.com it gives me the impression there's not much future for it.

There are a few countries that don't tax crypto income. Perhaps some scenario involving a partner in a crypto tax-free country might legally avoid taxes?

Seems like a "too good to be true" situation. 23.2 W/TH at $31.45/TH. I'll believe it when a trusted user gets a demo unit and reports back.

seems to show ~ 85W/TH. Not terrible, but a long ways from 23.2W/TH.
Why offer a 2-year warranty? 180 days and 10% DOA seems more typical in this business.
This one was cleaned on July 10th and has been working OK 'til this afternoon when I noticed it not performing.
I've reset it but it makes no difference, hashing doesn't happen.
Status shows: Hardware Version Socket connect failed: Connection refused
Is that supposed to be a clue?

Too bad I can't pay with something other than BTC, the transaction fees are rather high compared to the product amount. Why not accept ETH or LTC as well as BTC?
Yes, KYC requirements from an exchange can cause us major problems. Ex: QuadrigaCX exchange required photo ID, drivers license and bank details to be verified. Didn't matter that they were the oldest exchange in Canada with the largest user base. The QCX operators have all their clients KYC data and account balances. They can only steal the account balances once, but the KYC data can be resold multiple times.
What is the least costly shipping option for Qty 10 to Vancouver BC? No rush, 30 days via boat is fine. I was interested in Qty 10 of Pangolin's used M3's but they only ship via DHL so $400 worth of miners would cost an additional $819 in freight cost. Not for me.

He claims the Gmail warnings are due to the PGP block and to just ignore the warning and deposit BTC anyway and if I don't do so immediately it's because I'm a scammer
He threatened to sic the SWAT team on me if I didn't send BTC right now. 
He can send you email from Tomatocage or Monbux that look convincing enough (except for the Gmail verification warnings).

Yea.. this one's a bit odd. I offered to pay via Interac to their Canadian bank account, but they don't have a Canadian bank account. He suggested ShellPay or Veem. I'd suggest further verification before sending funds upfront.
