Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets

It's actually funny but true that bounties are not as profitable as its portrayed on the bounty thread and spreadsheets. One could get excited when we see how much the project is setting aside for bounties, but when we end up getting it, it's far lesser than what was anticipated. This could be because the project would distribute after a long time when the value have dropped significantly.

I went through the thread and found out that the project is unique, combining real estate and blockchain technology. This is actually the first, I've seen and I hope that the project would effectively stand out.

Re: Oikos a scam project or what???
by

I believe that bounty campaigns get postponed or extended if the project failed to raised money successfully on exchange through IEO but that's not the case with Oikos DeFi project, the project raised fund successfully on Hoo exchange and they extend the bounty campaign for another 8 weeks after extended for extra 4 weeks before, what is going on? Is the team planning to steal investors money?

There could be other reasons as to why the team chose to extend the bounty. I guess the tokensale is still ongoing and the service of bounty hunters are needed. The issue of extending duration of bounty is more like a norm, because things don't always go according to the plan for the team.

Re: The success of IEO is Exchange

One of the reasons why people prefer to invest in a project based on the exchange it holds her IEO is because they trust some exchange more than others to filter projects before accepting them to the exchange. I know it takes a lot for a project to hold IEO on global exchanges, as compared to others.

I've been opportune to use several exchanges in the past, of the several exchanges I've used, I got the highest satisfaction from binance. The exchange have competitive prices, both for the withdrawal and the exchange. The exchange happens to be security conscious and are all always reviewing and upgrading their investment in securities.

Re: The list of bounty projects that end in a scam

It's rather unfortunate that the list of projects on this train is endless. I personally participated in Bcnex, HITMEX, obx, emirex and several much more than I can remember that ended with tears. I think it's more healthy for one to forget about the bad projects and continue to strive, hopefully better projects would be found.

Greed is one of the most prevalent reason people get duped in this space. The truth is that there are several schemes in this space and most of them are targeting the greedy ones to take advantage of their ignorance and greed. I've come to realise that whatever seems too good to be true is most likely a trap.

The rate at which cryptocurrency exchange are making their exit is something else. I remember my experience with Bcnex, the exchange looked promising and the team appeared to be professionals and the promotion was superb. I got carried away and invested in the tokens, only to realise that the exchange was on its verge of collapse. Its quite disheartening that the website has been on maintenance for over two months.

The starting up phase of a project is always the most difficult and it could be lonely if you carry out all the tasks yourself, coupled with the fact that you can't do it all. The interest of a team needs to be put into consideration as their input has a long way to go in the success of the project.

Exchanging gift card is quite a risky venture owing to the fact that there is a potential for one to make losses if trading with an unscrupulous individual. The best way out is to build relationships and reputation with trusted partners or organisations who you trust with your gift cards.

I must commend your act of kindness for bringing this information to the forum. Several persons may also be involved in this betting platform and would learn from your escapade. I personally don't encourage gambling, most especially when it's done in the cryptocurrency arena. Most gambling

Re: Bounty hunters United we stand

There's a great need for bounty hunters to unite and see an end to this issue of repression by project owners. Payment for task carried out are based on luck because we aren't sure of payment until it comes to our wallet. Most times, hunters are made to work for several months and after the task are being carried out, the project owners starts shifting tables on when payment would be made. I personally waited for over 6 months for XDB (Digitalbits) only for my hopes to be dashed.

Re: Is KCS or kucoin share is better investment
by

on 21/06/2020, 07:59:57 UTC
Recently I started researching on best exchange coins apart from solid block chain projects , I found  bnb and Kucoin shares (KCS) Are having more events . Like bnb or binance token introduced lots of scheme in exchange , same like kucoin also introduced lending, poolex mining even more . I more liked this because they are regularly burning token . What’s your view on this before i put my hard earned money .

If I'm to choose between investing in KCS and BNB, I'll rather go with bnb. I understand that they both have prospects and could worth a long term hold, but based on the indices, bnb outperforms KCS, and from several indicators binance exchange seems to be moving at a faster pace.

Re: HAS THE 2020 BITCOIN HALVING LIVED UP TO ITS EXPECTATION?
by
Fatimahcrypto
on 21/06/2020, 07:16:51 UTC
I personally wasn't expecting an astronomical increase in the value of Bitcoin immediately after the halving. I remembered in 2016, there was basically no substantial increase in value after the halving, until the middle 2017. This may not be the case this time, following the various issues we have presently and the fact that a melt down is foreseeable following the lock down created by the covid-19 pandemic.

It's quite unfortunate that issues pertaining to payment for bounty hunters have been ongoing for a long time without any sign of review by projects. Its much more ridiculous when after participants are promised payments after a very long period and at the end of the day are sent out without any compensation for job done. I've been bitten severally by these projects and would love to see a change. Bounty hunting is getting worthless by the day and it's not a good idea.

It's actually a good idea to have a place where one can get a break down of some legit bounty. I personally have lost hope in bounties because there are many scam project that would end up not paying or paying tokens that are worthless, but with this opportunity, I'll consider joining some bounty to see how it goes.

I use to remember those days in early 2018 when several influencers on twitter were busy giving us ill conceived notions on the cryptos to buy and hold. We later got to know that most of those predictions were an act of marketing and the influencers were heavily paid for the service rendered.

One really need to be very careful in this space. Atimes this scam looks very convincing and without taking a closer look, one could fall to the trap. It takes a great deal of effort to navigate through this space without being ensnared by scammers. The only way out is to avoid being greedy, whatever looks too good to be true, is most likely a trap.

Re: Will crypto really go to zero?
by

I personally don't see crytocurrency going to zero in the near future. Crytocurrency has withstood the test of time and despite the fact that there has been several challenges, the industry has been Striving and getting larger. The government has never supported cryptocurrency and its been said to be a harbour for miscreants, this hasn't changed the fact that cryptocurrency is still Striving.

Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH?
by

I must confess that both bnb and ethereum are great projects with a hardworking team and good potentials. When it comes to trust, I'll go with ethereum owing to the fact that the project has withstood the test of time and growth has been encouraging.
