We "premined" about 1000 blocks (1,024,000 coins) while establishing the block chain prior to going live. Currently at 82518 blocks, so a drop in the bucket. No special blocks either - its a clean coin (which you can confirm with the block chain viewer of your choice).
It was a choice... we wanted to establish a number of checkpoint records to help avoid any early forks which happen so often when fast zero-premine coins hit the market. We believe it was the right choice, although our recent 1CRedit coin was 100% premine free. Alas, it has much longer block times, and higher confirm counts, and was also not pre-announced, so has not had any problems.

if you dump bcc, be sure that people will never buy them again, watch on poliniex, they have still affraid of buying them what do you think they will do if bcc back to 10sats? they ll forget bcc for ever. be smart and patient a week. do you think you will buy them again if the price crash? no sure.

Um, the price is not going to decrease 'a lot' anymore. There will be some shallow dips here and there but you better buy now if you're trying to pay the current exchange rate.But last 24hours the value increase at 200% rate, did you not think that there will be a dump now ? Like BlackCoin ?
No, the market is still correcting the price to their only being 55,000 total coins. this hasnt even been pumped yet...
