I remember those good old days when you can gain merit from this forum by making 30 posts as a newbie.
I think the merit system was abused and there was correction.
Everyone has to put in effort to contributing to this awesome forum.

My question is, what kind of post can one make to earn these merit? I know i have made some little effort but yet to gain it.

Well for me, i think i would hold ,this is because i can't trade properly .Also if i get a token in bounty and the value is far behind the ico price, i would rather just hold but if the price is fair enough, then i wouldn't hold. All the same, i still believe in holding.

Mistakes are bound to happen, but before creating your wallet, you must have been told to save or write down your mnemonic phrase, and also keep your private key secret. With your mnemonic phrase or private key, you can always get back to  your wallet.

The situation isn't funny, but i think all these is because of the bearish market, so when we work as a bounty hunter, we should just put in our best, and be selective in the bounty project we do, even when we get our tokens now, we should hold a little, and wait for it to make some percentage increase before we sell.

I don't trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency, what i do is make my own findings, like what the product of the project would be used for, the activeness of their social platforms, the team backing up the project. Once i am satisfied, i can buy the coin.

From my little experience in bounty, i don't think bounty managers cheat content creators, what i observed is that ,back in those days, only few people do content campaign, and reward was huge but now everyone is into the content creation, with the huge crowd doing content creation, just know reward will be low.

I noticed this also, that most ICOs build their token on the ethereum platform, sometimes i think people prefer those that build on the ethereum platform, also i think it is easy and cheap using the ethereum platform.

Since you have spare money, investing in crypto is good, but before you buy any coins, do your findings. Don't just buy any coin you see, moreover, i think you should be holding some bitcoin and ethereum also because these two have gained more acceptance.

One way or the other, we all have made mistakes that we regretted which is only normal, but i think the way forward is to move ahead of our mistakes, correct the past and do something better. Though sometimes, i still wish i had sold earlier.

This downward movement for crypto, is normal in all phases of life ,There are times when one is faced with challenges and you keep struggling to recover and stand tall, same is happening to crypto now, but it is all a matter of time and this phase will be over, the next stage of growth and value for crypto will be a rapid one. The greatness will be high with mass adoption. So take your position now.

Anyway, this strategy might be good, they might have a reason for the lock, but i really do no like it, i prefer i am being paid atleast a month after i have rendered my services to you. As bounty hunters, what we do is rendering services. Would it now be nice not to pay for the services rendered for months and keep us waiting?

Bull run to my own opinion can actually bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead altcoins, and bull run starts with bitcoin and ethereum to an extent, once the price of these two start increasing, so many altcoins will start gaining value, same applies to ICOs too. We await the bull run

2019 is already here, right now i am following up some projects , and i do this by checking the team, what the project aim to solve, i also check the social mediums of the project. I make more findings, then i can comfortably buy some tokens,because prices are low now. I don't just buy because prices are low.

From my little understanding and findings, the crash of BTC is never a good news to Altcoins, i noticed that once btc is crashing, the market as a whole follow suit. So the fall  in price of btc doesn't mean good news for altcoins.

What is KYC? It means knowing your customer. In KYC some requirements are required such as: Full Name, Residence address, Citizenship, Birth date, Photo of government issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID card),
Social Security number or Tax Identification, Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Photo of bank card .

I honestly think kyc should be stopped for bounty hunters, reason being that we are not buying the token of the project ,rather we are rendering services  to create awareness for the project. Which ought to be paid for.

In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.

I did a bounty which i passed, and earned some amount of the token, but i failed kyc and my effort was gone just like that, after rendering my services to them by promoting the project. I got really pained.

This is just an example of what is happening.

What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
