These days most of the coins that launch are all ICOs or some type of ETH token. Very rarely is a new POW coin released these days. These aren't the days of 2014 where everyday there was some type of Scrypt algo coin released and you can instamine it and then dump it 24 hours later when it got listed on Poloniex (top exchange back in 2014)

So basically ETH is currently the most profitable especially for GPUs, there really isn't any secret coin out there. Times are much tougher now for miners than they were a few years back. Too much saturation in the markets unfortuntaely and not much profit left to be made.

i think that something must to hapen. theres a lot of  new algorithyms and its not to algorithym but what bisnis idea stands behind the coin i agree that as you said eth is most profitable coin but to develop the market theres must be new bisnis ideas and new types of coins that suports them.

No because POW is actually starting to get phased out because many consider it to be a waste of electricity and many people pose it causes centralization if there are a small number of parties that control most of the hashrate.

Hence if a new project or coin wants to succeed, they usually avoid the POW road which is bad for miners. Hence why many project these days are ICOs or ERC20 tokens. And most that develop their own blockchain afterwards are usually POS type of coin.

Are these secure? Nobody really knows because they don't have much adoption these days except those people that  buy the tokens to just speculate on them. However they aren't used in everyday transactions like most BTC and ETH transactions.
maybe when btc mining will be exausted there will be free place for something new becouse big procent of hash power now is used for mining btc

ive lost many due to my own stupidity over the many years.. testing new wallets without understanding them enough, not having copies of seeds, having a couple paper wallets deteriorate, not maintaining proper backups.

paper notebook and paincil

the typical paper notebook is pretty low quality paper. ink blurs and washes out. use high quality archive paper and pencil (doesnt wash out typically) or permanent marker (test it 1st companies seem to differ on whats "permanent").

better: stamped high melting point metal of some sort.
i retract my quote becouse it not on wright place and in some cases its god to have notebook with some paswords and keys becouse they are accessible only people that are phyisicaly around and not worldwide as on computer if you keep them there. But theres alvays a better way ofcourse.

It depends on the manager and the service.

The issue with decrypting a private key online is that it'll be in the most vulnerable place for an attack - the RAM and the CACHE.

There are some open coufce password managers you can get thst work on your computer and store the encrypted information only on your computer too which are fairly secure but ultimately not perfect.

If you're referring to a hardware wallet like a ledger or a trezor instead then they're considered one of the most secure ways of storing your keys at the moment.
maybe best masterpasword is ink pencil and paper notebook and due to a hardware wallets they are safest but there alvays a risk becouse they must comunicate with outside world.

At this moment all my wallets are empty and becouse i am safe but i leave my private keys on about 100 places which are mostly uchecked. My state of wallet will change in some time i thinking to format everithing and change all important private keys for a start. Is there scams in which scamers plant a bag somwhere inside wallet for later use?
why put the peivate key in 100 places? it would be very risky to be hacked with multiple copies in various places. While it makes it easier for you not to lose your private key, it is also more dangerous because of too many copies. I copied the private key in only 2 places online and offline. I also prioritize online private key security, by providing password protection to be able to access it, it will be safer than using 100 different places.
i am not copied them but sign up on about almost  100 diferent web sites over time  i must change my identity in credentials i use maybe to instal some master pasword aplication but dont know how secure there are.

When I started to join this forum and got to know cryptocurrency, there were a number of events that made me lose some of my assets such as downloading a fake wallet which made my bitcoins disappear, but only in small amounts. I've also been stuck on a phishing wallet website and stupidly, I entered my private key, but the assets that were lost were only a few coins that I got from the bounty I was working on.

Many experiences of losing bitcoin assets and other assets when I was on this forum. several events made me more alert and careful so that there was no incident of losing the assets that I had collected. Currently there are many scammer attempts to steal someone's assets very easily by taking advantage of the owner's negligence. Everything can be a phishing website, malware, fake wallets, shitcoin investments etc.

Probably the biggest loss I have personally experienced is on various shitcoins. For a while, I invested in anything and everything without prior analysis.
I know better now... I hope.  Cheesy

Let me tell you a story about a boat, an iceberg, and a written private key...

Yeah, I've heard that story. LOL
please do not tell me that you bought a boat for btc in 2010\ 2011 or so? Smiley which sales through waves like iceberg salad troughout butter.
its just a joke not have nasty intensions i just wanted to point that theres people lost miliards usd by spending btc for something that in that moment was very atractive to a eye but it is just a expensive toy. and if it posible i want to hear about a girl hope you did not write private key with iceberg.

It is hard to find such mineable gems and you just have to be lucky. I used to mine XHV like 2 years ago, then its price dropped and after a few months of it going sideways I sold it with minimal profit (or precisely - I was on 0 counting energy bills). Then after a few months it mooned like x10 but I was without it. Same was with Loki, it was so easy to mine it like 2 years ago and in 2020 it gained a lot of hype and momentum. Ones who held could be happy.

two days ago i found actinium ACM its pow coin and i feel by the sence that it is wright choice but i can mine it only on cell phone becouse i have intel hd gpu and they do not support it and android version is in its beta fase and does not work on mz cell. And even on such gpu of mine i would be able to mine it.

Are such coins easier to mine ,and why?

Of course, if you join the project in the initial phase as an "early adopter" you will always have an advantage over the others and you can gain a lot if the project is successful .... Success of the project is the key word here, because joining the project at an early stage you can never be sure about it so you take the risk of wasting your time and resources but if the project is succesful the reward can be high ...

I agree we have 'smart one' sentence in serbian lenguage its means "who do not take risk, will do not take profit" i just trying with actinium but do not have hardware on computer to mine it and for cell phone app do not want to load its my lucky draw for yesterday i have no other choice for now just to play on luck.

-snip- but by my opinion if they sell the hardware gadget to me why they inforce me to use transaction fee they aply -snip-
On Cobo Wallet, see the fee transaction settings on the following link:
https://support.cobo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007966514-How-to-set-transaction-fee

Likewise, if you use a Ledger hardware wallet, in the Ledger Live software (the default ledger wallet software), you are given the option to set the amount of the transaction fee.

i wanted to say that when you win in casino than you hoocked and all story about movie and all is hypothetical. And my opinion about crypto casinos is that that is just new market for casino owners as cryptocurencies  more regulated there are more reliable and become more like convencial types of paying this market i think will be supported by most casinos in future as undeniable expanding of cryptocurencies as way of paying.
