Update: We've had a reply from the webshop mentioned earlier, in these early stages of FCK's comeback and low prices they want to investigate the option of offering customers a discount based on FCK, these discounts could be up to 20-25%. As the webshop is also still under development it will take a while to get this discount system in place, we'll keep you informed. Once FCK has established a stable rate they might add it as a full payment method. The webshop's URL is https://extramodelbouw.nl in the Netherlands.

Blocks need 100 confirmations on the network. To make sure im not distributing coins I don't have the coinbase maturity of the pool has been set to 120.
I can not safely reduce this value sorry.
It's a little silly that it takes 100 block confirms to mature but striving for 480 blocks per day

Next thing I'll be working on is a dnsseed, as this is quite mandatory, I will then clean the source code a little and recreate the wallets.
This will happen somewhere around next week, quite busy atm.

As everyone noticed, we laid low for a while. The reason of our absence is that we need more developers, marketers, people who are willing to contribute to the coin.

The UNIX timestamp of last checkpoint is not up to date right? Someone else has to confirm me on this, I'm not sure.

The problem with the coin is somehow related to the fact that the copy paste clone forgot to change something and so it tries to add litecoin nodes as peers. Then the estimated blocks becomes as high as litecoins, then you can't mine because the client thinks it is out of sync. I posted about this several times and PM'd the dev Astrocoin, but he never replied to the pm or in the thread. He is too worried about all the drama surrounding the premine and all the scam accusations to actually make a stable working coin.
I checked the net.cpp and this seems untrue.

MySQL is under heavy load due to hundreds of thousands invalid shares that keep coming in therefore payouts are very very slow and might not come trough.
Well then the solution is simple, commit the new source, recreate the wallets.

Turned on some solo miners for now. Something is definitely up. Perhaps a DDOS, all pools are on the same block so I doubt a 51% attack, its not a fork or anything like that.
You don't know that, someone could be way ahead in blocks. We just don't know it.

Astrocoinpool - http://astrocoinpool.com/ has been the only pool functioning without problems until now.
Just switch there while other pools sort out or turn on solo mining. Something fishy is going on with the network.

Astropool is not working either, there are NO blocks found on the network by anyone. Block 8433 it's been there hours now.
I completely cloned the litecoin source and changed parameters to that of Astrocoin. Compiled fine but same problems.
As if block 1499 is actually the last block found.
