Once I can no longer profit from mining, I'm done with BTC. I'm simply not an investment speculator. And I see no real advantages with buying BTC on an exchange and using it to make purchases. I'd rather just use a credit card and have consumer protection.
I'm not a libertarian and bank failures and politics scare me less than BTC potentially dropping to zero.
In my opinion, the extinction of home miners will ultimately cause the failure of BTC. Home miners actually use their BTC stash as it's intended, to make purchases. Although they just usually spend their saved BTC on new mining gear, lol. They also hoard their earnings while large-scale mining operations continually dump their BTC and exchange for fiat. Which will ultimately causes the price to crash once home miners are completely out of the picture.
Sad, but this can be true So everyone need to do everything to decentralize BTC mining.

Manufacters is the answer, they are in profit zone all the time, so they are investing in equipment.

For many of us it is just a hobby, so it is not a big deal to mine some time frame at loss. If you really believe in BTC feature, you can not quit.

Do not invest in some cloud mining, that is waste of time and bitcoins. Insted buy them directly and wait for a few years.
Hewlo !! ! Im thinking of creating my altcoin just for fun no profit. ok thanks for the dont trust anyone notice I like all altcoins i really digg ones with good anon transactions !
What are the features of you proposed coin? So you want to have anonymity? I think a good coin should have some nice features for wealthy people. For example free transaction fees for those who hold a certain amount of your currency! Maybe call them MillionaireCoins? Is there already such a thing???
That can be done in bitcoin lol. With a high enough tx priority (bigger amount, more confirmations, smaller tx size = higher priorty), your transaction can be sent without free and will be confirmed within a reasonable time.
how can you send btc without fee ?

No way you can profit in cloud mining, there is only profit for those, who sells you those gh/s.

If the difficulty keeps on this level, you guys can go in the profit zone, especially those, who do not pay for electricity.
