Re: Is "Mastering Bitcoin" from Andreas Antonopoulos suited for normal people?
by

Andreas Antonopoulos is a very educated source about Bitcoin. I’ve heard about his book “Mastering Bitcoin” and have a question if it’s also suited for average people like me (who aren’t coders / computer scientists)?
Has someone read it completely and can tell?

I like Andres Antonopoulos but I just want to ask because it would be sad if I might don’t understand most parts of his book because it might be directed at coders or computer scientists, mostly.

Is “Mastering Bitcoin” also a good read for people who don’t have any coder knowledge?
I’m happy to hear your reply and plz add if your are a coder or not + have read his book “Mastering Bitcoin” or not.

Greetings
Phu

While the book is written in a clear and accessible style, it is still quite technical and may be challenging for those without a background in computer science or cryptography. It is best suited for readers who are already familiar with the basics of Bitcoin and blockchain technology and are looking to deepen their understanding of these topics.

Re: Any website to compare 2 different currency prices over time vs USD?

Is there a website that shows a chart of the prices of 2 or more currencies over time in USD?

I'd like to compare the price of Bitcoin vs USD vs another cryptocurrency to see if there's any other cause and effect.

May be important for investing in cryptos.

CoinMarketCap : Users can view price charts for individual coins or compare the performance of multiple coins over time.

Re: Is bitcoin core good for beginners?

In case someone wants to build bitcoin nodes as beginner! Do you see bitcoin core as a good software to support the running of the node? A friend of is asking which kind of electronics device can absorb the node system without crashing the whole process. Personally I don't have much knowledge about it but I know we have the gigantic gurus of technostructure that can help out here. So your knowledge is needed here.

Bitcoin Core may not be the best choice for beginners, as it requires a certain level of technical knowledge and familiarity with the command line interface. It can also be resource-intensive and may require significant storage space and bandwidth.

Re: Public and Private blockchain?

Hello all
Is someone know what is the different between a public and a private blockchain, and how do they each support different use cases and industries?

A public blockchain is a decentralized and open network that anyone can participate in and access. Public blockchains, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, are designed to be transparent and permissionless, meaning that anyone can join the network, verify transactions, and mine new blocks. They rely on a consensus mechanism, such as proof-of-work or proof-of-stake, to validate transactions and maintain network security.

In contrast, a private blockchain is a permissioned network that is owned and controlled by a single entity or a group of entities. Private blockchains are designed to be more secure and scalable than public blockchains, and they can be customized to meet specific business or regulatory requirements. Participants in a private blockchain network typically need to be approved by the network owner, and access to the network is restricted to a defined group of participants.

It's good that they improved mechanism of validation Pos to PosA (Proof of stake and Activity), It's more fair to individual validators because they don't need a lot of money to get prize, the activity is more important   Wink

This is good point, Let's see how it works when the mainnet of fastex chain go live.

When the main chain will go live ?

In the official telegram channel they said it will be live on May

Hey, everyone!

I wanted to share some exciting news with you all - I've just discovered a new token called Fasttoken FTN, and it looks like it could be a real game-changer in the world of cryptocurrency!

Here are a few things I've knowed about FTN:

FTN TN is the official cryptocurrency of Fastex ecosystem and the native token of the Fastex Chain developed and curated by leading tech giant SoftConstruct. With SoftConstruct's vast network, over 1 million active users, and 700 partners all over the globe, FTN will have numerous real-world use cases from day 1.

1. All SoftConstruct partners will be able to settle their business arrangements using FTN instead of fiat currencies.
2. Every user within the SoftConstruct network will be able to utilize FTN as a means of gaming, payment, and service.
3. The SoftConstruct Crypto Reward Program will allow all parties within the SoftConstruct network to benefit from either using or holding FTN in both daily and monthly activities.
4. FTN will fuel all blockchain-based and blockchain-related apps within the Fastex ecosystem as the native currency for all platforms.
5. FTN will become the native coin of the Fastex Chain blockchain solution, serving as staking and block validation rewards currency.
6. All products and services within the Fastex ecosystem will convey various benefits to users, for either using or holding FTN.

Have any of you heard of FTN or invested in it already? Let's chat in the comments!
