IMO it seems too early for a big player like Ritz Carlton to do $400 million deal on a new system like this. I understood Reggie said the software was still under review but O'Leary said this deal is SCC approved so a mismatch there. If someone could clear this up then that would be great.

True, I agree. I think what I was trying to say is that being listed isn't necessary for Veri to be successful. It won't make or break it.

To think that Veri is holding up very well in this latest crypto correction is extremely positive isn't it. Perhaps some more downside to come but other recent ICO's such as TenX are underwater, even though the price has stabilized.

Yes, it would be nice to be on a popular exchange now but in a couple of months time the landscape will be most likely very different with VERI on multiple exchanges and more liquidity than we ever imagined. Even if we cannot trade on the JSE then other decentralized exchanges will no doubt be available with adequate liquidity. Waves, Heat, Mothership, NVO + more all in the pipeline.

Not being listed is positive. Veri will bypass these centralized crypto exchanges. You gotta start thinking big potatoes

Yes, I saw one ending with .com.im but there are also targeted attacks in the associated alt coin slack channels. One attack vector was posting ICO details prematurely and investors sending money without checking. These Ethereum addresses also held other alts including Veri so they all get stolen.

Guys, I think a lot of Veri has been stolen from MEW Phishing websites. Around 2000 stolen then sent to and on-sold at etherdelta from this hacker address alone:

Be VERY careful with using myetherwallet to transact

This is from Reggie (in slack) giving an explanation to someone questioning the current utility to someone (an ico investor/ forum lurker - like many of us).

The exchanges are awash with money and struggling to keep up with support so they're not desperate to list anymore coins.

Veri is a long term play, just like Polo not listing Waves and evntually Bittrex picking it many months later - if the product is good enough, some exchange will pick it up an eventually it will rise. It's only been a month guys, just be patient. Exchanges are all going decentralized anyway, with Waves, Etherdelta, Komodo BarterDEX, HEAT etc. Polo and Bittrex will be legacy centralised exchanges.

I am waiting on the alpha client which is I believe due out in the next month or so. It would be nice to see something concrete so to speak.

It seems it takes some practice with EtherDelta to get the hang of things. It's also not in real-time so patience is required.

There are some fat fingers spiking the price high, up to $1500 per VERI. These are for relatively small amounts.
