What's the point in doing that? Everyone will just wait up until the 10,000th block and then start mining it... the difficultly will go insane, and nobody will want to be apart of it. If you're going to do this, make it gradually increase so it would encourage everyone to mine from the start.

I like the idea but I think ten billion coins is way too many... Give it a max approx 160 million and the price will naturally be higher; This doesn't correlate to every coin, but less "anomalies", the higher perceived cost of per anomaly, higher the perceived rarity, more the miners, more the exposure and then that turns into an endless loop.

What an incredible idea. This is what we need as a generation to come up with innovative propositions like this. I like your thinking about fairness and equality between miners/seeders, this is something that would promote stability earlier on which is very good thing. Few issues come to mind about the nodes, but I will talk about this at a later date, i.e. once I get some sleep.

Overall, this seems very solid, Sprout is a refreshing name and I look forward to more discussion.

Because there will always be a number of people mining it... if everyone stopped right now, the difficult would go sharply down and then there would be high incentive to mine again.
