Re: Can too many Altcoin's can become a threat to bitcoin's existence

I personally dont think alts will threaten btc. BTC is the king and will remain the king i also think that with regulation that will eventually occur you will see decrease in shitty alts and only the strong real world use alts will survive.

People don't mind a retrace what worries them its the volatility the drops of $1000 us in a few hours that scares them. What people must accept is what goes up must come down.

Bitcoin has been steadily losing market cap dominance, from 90%+ just two years ago to ~80% today.

When it comes to exchange dominance it's just 66.4%.

This trend will probably continue and in a few years there will be people using cryptocurrencies that do not know what bitcoin is.

I disagree BTC is king and will remain king if you trade cryptocurrency you will know the king.

At first the people now i believe Bankers, Government and large investors are calling the shots lets not kid ourselves  at first they didnt want a part of it then they realised that blockchain tech and cryptocurrency is the future they want there piece of the pie "IF YOU CANT BEAT THEM JOIN THEM" and all the have to do is invest through lots of smaller amounts dont put there self out there soros style and manipulate the fuck out of the market its the wild west and i believe it could get alot worse before regulations that the whole point of crypto was designed against are introduced then it will be nothing but forex .

Scare money they love it its hard its scary watching the market collapse around you  and that's exactly what they want  pure manipulation they can do it you sell your bags they fill there's . Remember they can bear for long periods of time but at some point they need to pull the trigger otherwise the accumulation is pointless. I love watching order books and a few coins last night were highly manipulated one particular $VET MM staking  up walls price sitting on 901 for a very long period not moving a bit thousands of sells filling there bags. If your holdn hold if your in tether or fiat stay study enjoy hit the beach clear your head but dont dump your bags and then regret and fomo next bull run.

Grin I smile daily out of a work place of around 300 i believe there is two of us who are invested in crypto the narrow minded comments we cop daily are a good laugh the fact that they have absolutely no idea what crypto or blockchain technology is about is amazing. I feel for them as they are unfortunately sheep who are close minded and cant or don't want to recognize the future of currency. I willl have the last laugh  Grin

Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money
by
Filthy1
on 30/07/2018, 09:58:35 UTC
Regulation is required so that ICO's cant raise funds then exit with your money so coins and there devs cant dump and exit scam but also too stop war criminals and crime syndicates from cleaning and laundering money. In saying this Privacy orientated coins with stealth addresses and such also help criminals i do believe it is a huge task to monitor and control and form stability.

Im positive it will but it might be a year or so before it does I think if and that's if we get some more interest out of the high rollers things may move quicker but we will also either see a lot of manipulation or it will slow too forex pace regulated.
