[FIND] Nominations, Scam Reports and Bounties

   FindCoin Nominations

   If you are here and don’t know what's this all about - please read our FCPS (FindCoin Poll System) thread first.

   Here’s the guide on creating nominations:

   You will need:
       Link to profile of the guy you want to nominate
           like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=405246
       Links to his scam report posts
           like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=905226.msg9946003#msg9946003
       Name of the scam
           like [PFC]

   Then you go to this thread and create such post:
   (XXX - your nick, YYY - nickname of the guy you nominate, ZZZ - name of the scam).
   “I, XXX, nominate YYY for FindCoin bounty for investigating ZZZ scam.
    Here’s the links to YYY’s investigation posts:
    BTCtalk’s link1, link2, link3

    Please vote for giving YYY the bounty he deserves: (reserved for poll link)”

   Post it with no poll link yet, then copy this post’s link, go to any short-linking service, and shorten post’s link, better to something meaningful (like, short-link/YYY, where YYY is the nick of nominated guy).

   Copy that shortened link, go to polls.findcoin.info, login, and create such poll:

  Question:
    ZZZ || YYY ||  short-link/YYY ?
  Answers:
    No Bounty
    1000
    2000
    3000
    4000

   After you have created the poll, copy link to that poll, return to your nomination post, and paste that link there in reserved place.

   That’s all!

   We will check your nomination and poll, and if everything is ok - we will PM nominated guy with link to that nomination. Of course, you can do that yourself via PM or mention it in thread where original scam report was posted.

  Please examine nominations posted below so you’ll understand better how it should look like.

   Remember, that scam reports do not necessary should be posted on BitcoinTalk.

   I want to create scam report myself, where should I post it?

   Doesn't matter, as long as it will have constant link to it.

   1. You can create separate thread in scam accusations, or just post a message to any scam subject related thread (not recommended, because your post can be deleted by topicstarter)
   2. You can create post in your own blog or even post it on your Facebook page
   3. You can write it in doc/pdf, upload it to dropbox/drive, and provide us with link

   There are a lot of scam reports and investigations on BitcoinTalk here and there. But guys who’ve posted them are probably don’t know that we (FindCoin community) are rewarding such investigations with FindCoin bounties.

  For those who don’t know what FindCoin is:

  There's one commodity that will never be in shortage on cryptomarket: SCAMMERS.
   Scamcoins, pump&dumps, ponzies, over-hyped services that at some point will run away with all their customers' money - you name it.

   So, as long there will always be guys who want to steal your money - there will always be demand for anti-scam related services.

   With FindCoin we want to create some kind of an one-stop shop for all your anti-scam needs. From investigating the coin or venture you want to invest in - to hunting down and bringing to justice guys that ripped you off.

   We will collect and verify community-created scam reports, provide anti-scam investigations for new coins and services, and implement anti-scam insurance and trust ratings.

   Here’s links to our thread and site:
   Thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=905226.0
   Official site - findcoin.info

   What is FCPS?

   FindCoin Polls System (FCPS) is simple voting service.

   The main purpose of it is to provide our community the instrument for voting on various FindCoin-related issues, but mostly - for nominating great guys who investigate and expose various cryptoscams (altcoins, services, persons), so they can get their deserved FindCoin bounties.

   You are not a scam investigator? Doesn’t matter - of course you saw or know BitcoinTalk members who, you think, should be rewarded for his or her reports. Just nominate these guys - and get 5% of his bounty amount as finder’s fee.

   We want our community to grow bigger, so right now we also encourage you to join us - and receive some FindCoins as welcome bonus.

   FindCoin Bounties and Rewards

   Scam report bounty: up to 4000 FindCoins (estimated via voting on according poll).
   Please be advised that the exact bounty amount will be estimated as a weighted average, not as most voted option.

   Registration welcome bonus:
   50 FindCoins for first 200 verified and registered FCPS members
   25 FindCoins for next 400 verified and registered FCPS members
   10 FindCoins for last 1000 verified and registered FCPS members
   There are, though, some restrictions: we will not verify for registration BitcoinTalk members who:
      - Registered on BitcoinTalk later than 25/12/14;
      - Have less than 25 meaningful posts on BitcoinTalk (+1, cool, lol doesn’t count);
      - Have any WTB/WTS posts in BitcoinTalk account trading threads.
   We’ll describe the registration process later in this OP.

   Successful nomination reward: 5% of bounty given to nominated investigator (paid out of separate funds, not from that bounty).
   In order to be counted as successful, your nomination should get at least 100 votes in 1 week (this 100 votes limit will be updated as long as number of FCPS members will grow)

   How can I register on FCPS?
   It’s pretty simple - you just need to PM DenKoma, or Quadmium, or e1ghtSpace with your FindCoin address for receiving your bounties/rewards. We will verify your account info and PM you with further instructions.

   How can I create a poll on FCPS?
   After your successful registration you should login on polls.findcoin.info with your email/password, and then you’ll see big “Create Your Poll” button in upper right corner. Click it - and you’ll be guided through the process.

   How can I create a nomination on FCPS?
   Ok, that’s a little bit tricky. Please check our Nominations thread for how-to and nominations examples.

   FAQ

   How many FindCoins are reserved for scam reports bounties and rewards?
   Up to 1.5M

   Can I use FCPS for my non-FindCoin-related polls?
   Yes, you can - as long as you agree with our Terms. If you need some extended features for your poll - like multiple choices, more than 1 week timeframe, or that users will be allowed to multi-vote each 24 hours - contact us via PM.

   (Don't hesitate to ask any questions - we will update our FAQ with them)

  Thank you for spending time reading this OP, and if you know some guys who deserve a reward for their anti-scam efforts - please join us and nominate them.

i want to ask about the POS how it works ? can you explain it to me ?

Awesome, let me know how many you get. I'm running on 16 connections and so is e1ghtspace.
POS works by giving interest to people with their wallet open. There is a maturity period of 1 hour before your coins start "staking," denoted by the green arrow. The "weight" will increase as you wait longer, making you more likely to earn a block. This secures the network instead of POW, and provides interest as an incentive to keep your wallet staking.

i got 16 connections too but the staking say it expected time earn is 7 days ?

Correct, as time passes you will gain more weight and time to earn will go down. Also, getting more coins increases staking weight as it is calculated by number of days passed × number of coins in a block. Additionally, the longer you have to wait to stake the bigger the payout, so don't worry about the 7 days - you will get rewarded fairly.

Will do, thank you very much. If I can demonstrate that I can run more than one wallet via different proxies the community would have to agree as their reason for keeping the source code private is without merit.

Yep, we cannot decide what the community wishes to do. This was decided via a vote, as we intend this coin to be run by the community. Best of luck Smiley.

I have slightly newer version of libboost. The binary was compiled against 1.54 but I have 1.55, nothing that a bit of symlinking wont fix but I do get these weird X-system errors on console I when I run the client (see bellow) I believe they're just cosmetics and it appears the wallet is working fine.

Yep we are aware of them (didn't get around to figuring what was causing them), in regards to libboost it should be in the Libs folder which is already provided and referenced by the wrapper. Great to see the wallet works Smiley.

Guys, please, help us move the blockchain so wallets could start to sync.

We'll need to mine POW for that.

Just set in FindCoin.conf
rpcport=1234
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass

then connect to 127.0.0.1:1234 in your miner with username user and password pass

Thanks

        We are all fed up with scammers. We want to see their faces, and some of them behind bars. Let's put a bounty dedicated to those who are willing to conduct an investigation.

        FindCoin was created with a sole purpose to raise such a bounty as a reward for the deanonymization of certain "developers". We don't care if this coin gains zero value or even hits an exchange at all, but instead our intention are to create a symbol, a banner for everyone in the community that want those people to be found and brought to legally applicable justice.

        This coin is dedicated to all who fell victim to the countless scams and is also a place to conduct research about developers who used our trust to earn money they never deserved. We realize that we cannot do this on our own but we hope that community unites here and produces some good results.

        What we propose is to create crypto-currency with only one purpose - fund bounties for the info about scam devs. No matter how much volume this coin gets, it will always remain as a symbolic reward for the effors of those who care. We aren't telling you to do something bad to these people, no. However we deserve the right to find them and know their real identities and gather proof and evidence and perhaps one day some of them will regret what they did to us.

        To fulfill our idea we created a coin and faucet that will giveaway 50% of the money supply to anyone willing to accept it. Everyone can get coins for free and will be able to donate them as a bounty for the info about their most hated developers. Someone smart enough to find a developer's credentials will receive that bounty after the provision of certain proofs - then all of the information will be published. When and if someone becomes deanonymized, everyone will know how they can support this effort, and invest in something that ensures a safe environment for the rest of us.

        Why don't you guys just gather BTC's?
        We've been here long enough. We know how most fundraisers turn out. You pay someone BTCs for a good cause and next day watch as the publish pictures of them self in a bathrobe somewhere in the hotel spending your hard earned money on the vodka and chicks. We could promise you anything but we do not expect someone to believe us and you are no exception. Instead, let this coin be in your wallets and outside of the market for the time being. There will be no mining costs and no efforts required to acquire these coins. Let it stay with you until some scammer, or at least someone is found. At that very moment you will know which coin you should invest in to reward those who ensured your security and exposed frauds. Let's come up with a blacklist of scam-coins, let's gather what we have in one place and let's pursue those things and find them.

        We invite everyone to participate in this initiative, update research and explore every possible bit of information about these scam-coins and their developers.
Submit coin names with links on scam threads and we will keep track of it. We will also try to sort out all of information about the progress. Let's do it together. Every bit counts, tell us how many coins scammed, what you know about the developer, post links and post evidence. Be active and eventually we will find these horrible people.

         Payouts will begin on the 28th.

         Help! I followed the exchange steps but my wallet is showing transactions conflicted?
         Those transactions were from the old FindYouCoin network. If you followed the steps, you will soon receive another transaction to one of your addresses that contains the new coins. You don't have to worry about the old transactions, and you should send your coins to a new wallet.dat once you get them.
