In this project, I like the fact that COMSA provides Zaif exchange for transferring your ICO token and its payment service so that your token owners can spend it. We also provide private mijin software that allows you to manage markers in the internal block chain on your system.

Is there any possibility for foreign citizens to go thru verification at this exchange? As far as I know, it was almost impossible before, or rather I do not know anybody who could do it.

It's strange that until now this token is officially traded only on this Zaif  exchange.

Shouldn't the list include some of the current exchanges? Or would they not be in the top 5?

I do not think that they should be added, because money aren’t theirs, they belong to the traders. But "belong to the traders" it is also might be questionable due to the history of exchanges hacks Smiley

Most of the Mt Gox coins are being sold now and the Silkroad coins were sold on auction to private dealers. Roger Ver said he sold most of his coins, but I seriously doubt it, because he is so full of shit. He did not have to sell his coins to buy Bitcoin Crash, because he got it for free, when the coin forked.  Roll Eyes

I do not disagree that there are a lot of early coiners that still have a large chuck of the coins though.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for your comment, I did not Know that, especially new thing to me is that most of the Mt Gox coins are being sold now, because I have read some recent article that said about only 34 000 Mt Gox's BTC was sold out, I will search for that information and correct it. If it is true thou it is very great thing, because the dip might be over soon.

Silkroad coins were sold on auction to private dealers.

I'll correct that.

Roger Ver said he sold most of his coins.

And that, thanks again.

Tanks for the constrictive comment, it would be my pleasure to answer it:
I learned from the study conducted by the chainalysis that Five million bitcoins (one third of available supply)

and i can't help but notice the numbers you quoted don't even amass to 2 million let alone 5.

You mean the "six largest bitcoin holders don't even amass to 2 million "?  that is the biggest known bitcoins holders that I found in the net, I am sure that there might be bigger holders, but their identity is unknown, I added them just as an interesting fact to know.

Quote
7.4 million in total long-term investment.
now i am confused. you said 5 million now you say 7.4? what am i missing here.

One thousand it is the investors which has big amounts of bitcoins in their wallets, they have got 5 million, the rest 2,4 million belongs to small investors, that are holding a little amounts of BTC.

1. Satoshi Nakamoto - 1 000 000 bitcoins, which are still untouchable.
an estimate not facts. so it can not be accurate.

I did not know that, you mean that there in no one address with 1 000 000 bitcoins on it? There is many, which thought to belong to Satoshi?

3. Mt.Gox - 166 000 bitcoins, 34 000 of them were recently sold collapsing thereby the market.
4. FBI — they confiscated 144,000 bitcoins from Silk Road.
you started this by calling them "long term investors" how did these two end up being "investors"?

As a said, I added them because I thought that it is interesting to know.

IP.GOLD which is making ico on comsa platform have done an airdrop for ipg and its ongoing.

https://ip.gold/AirDrop.php

Yay! So the Comsa is not just siting and doing nothing? first ICOs are starting to show, that’s a great news, with the potentiation this platform has, I did not expect the token price went so low, but compering to the rest ICOs it is still holding, because the such drop it is still not a catastrophic, many other dropped more than 10 times from their ICO value, and Comsa still did not hit any big exchange, with in future I am sure will happen and increase its token price.

Interesting information about the distribution of bitcoin.

on 14/06/2018, 11:55:05 UTC
I learned from the study conducted by the chainalysis that Five million bitcoins (one third of available supply) is controlled by the 1,000 largest long term investors, 7.4 million in total long-term investment. It is also known that at least 2.3 million bitcoins have been lost. The remaining 7.3 million available are used for speculation and transactions by services, such as exchanges, 4 million are not yet mined.

Here are the six largest bitcoin holders:

1. Satoshi Nakamoto - 1 000 000 bitcoins, which are still untouchable. Corrected by BrewMaster :” An estimate not facts. so it cannot be accurate”

2. Roger Ver — about 300 00, which he managed to hold since 2011. Corrected by Kakmakr : “Roger Ver said he sold most of his coins”

3. Mt.Gox - 166 000 bitcoins, 34 000 of them were recently sold collapsing the market severely. Corrected by Kakmakr : “Most of the Mt Gox coins are being sold now”

4. FBI — they confiscated 144,000 bitcoins from Silk Road. Corrected by Kakmakr : “Silkroad coins were sold on auction to private dealers”

5. Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss - brothers who owned the idea of Facebook creation, they bought Bitcoins for 11$ million in 2013, when the price was $ 120 per coin. The money for the purchase they seized from the founder of Facebook — Mark Zuckerberg.

6. Tim Draper - bought 30 000 bitcoins in 2014.

Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls

I'd hold my altcoins at least untill autumn. Just relax, forget about them and wait) It's not easy to be patient when everything is falling down. Maybe if you're nervous or have money issues, make a review of your coins and sell the most useless ones. I believe that it's only the beginning and all your coins wil rise.
I do not think that this drop will gonna last just to the autumn Richard Heart predicted for example that it will last 3 years, because previously bitcoin was rising like that for twice , it was a huge grows and then three years dip.

If your portfolio value is dwindles sporadically,  there is no reason why you should not panic.  In fact, you must start to panic so that you can at least cut your losses and if your plan is to hold,  then you have no business in current prices!
Same of my tokens are reduced in value about 10-15 times, but I am still holding, of course It would be a smart thing do to sale them on the peak, but I did not do it, now I do not want to sell them because they are almost worthless, I have only option - to hold and be as it may!:)

For some reason I am sure that the price of the crypto will rise, so I hold it, I did not see any analyst who did not have the same opinion as I do, but thing that motivates me the most — is when I start comparing the whole current situation with the Dot-com bubble, the fact is that this bubble busted reaching 6 trillion dollars, the crypto reached only 830 billion yet, in its peak. During Dot-com bubble only middle and rich class had opportunity to invest but not all, in the crypto everybody can invest, regardless of country and day time and it also can be done anonymously from jour home computer, so I think that this is all just the beginning and the real bubble is yet to come, it is not known when it will come — in five or 10 years, but I hope that it will.

Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency?
by

How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

The main advantage is that you are unlikely to lose the entire invested amount, although it is certainly possible to lose 90% of it. If you are a player, then investing in crypto currency is much better than just playing in casino for example.

How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

It is risky for a beginner to invest in cryptocurrency because the price of crypto is volatile means it will go up or down without prior notice. So the best way for a beginner to invest is to invest to major coin like bitcoin and ethereum, then if you have more knowledge and experience go try your luck in investing to ICO.

I do agree with you? It is better to invest in bitcoin and ethereum, because thus coins are the most stable, if they grow then every other coin start co grow, but I think you should invest also about 10%-20% in many altcoins with low capitalization, sometime it appears to be very profitable.

Re: how to find out about good airdrop?
by
Fiord
on 12/06/2018, 16:21:44 UTC
there are so many scams how to find out about good airdrop ?

It seems to me that you need to participate in all airdrops, you will find out that it is good only after it will have an exchange listing.

what can I say is that product is the most important part of the project for me. I do not invest in ICOs or do not take part in its airdrop, bounty without a ready-made product and only with airy promises to do it in the future. So, in my opinion existing of the product increase the chances of the project to conduct sussesful ICO and prosper in the future
Of course ready-made product it is a good, but I usually pay attention to such things only when I am investing, when I am taking part in airdrop or bounty in worst case scenario you will lose your time, which is also a valuable thing actually, sometimes risky ICO appears to be good, and because there where not many willing to take part in it its token price can go skyrocketing.

At last! I saw a lot of analysts, but few of them could give any exact estimates of what is happening on the market, until I heard the most accurate explanation for the market fall, it was given by Joseph Young:

“Bitcoin fell because people sold and not enough people were willing to buy”

Re: The Bitcointalk 10 BTC Donators - where are they now ?
by
Fiord
on 12/06/2018, 06:23:01 UTC
I did not expect that a lot of donations were in 2017, it turns out that the minimum donation was $ 7900 and the maximum could be 200 000 $, and in 2018 there no donations at all, although half a year has passed.

Those donators have all been the quality this forum had at that time and we realize that when we read the threads from that time. They being missing is one of the reasons why the forum is in such a situation where spam is the first thing you see when you open a section to read something good.

It seems to me that spam is just a symptom, and the reason is the crazy popularity growth of crypto currencies, everything is changing, perhaps at one time only constructive dialogues were conducted on this forum, but now there are plenty of newcomers, most of whom understand little about smart contracts, decentralization and crypto currencies in general and aims only to earn, is it bad? Of course it's bad, but maybe in a year or so, these people will start to study those things, and in five years they will be able to bring something of their own into the crypto community, in everything there can be positive sides.

September? Really? It is a long way to go for the ICO of the project, but I think it is a good decision after all since the market wasn't stable in these days.

Well, actually, I think that ICO should start after such a time from the announcement, about 4 to 5 month is all right,  and the bounty company should start about two months before the start of the ICO, for the Bounty participants it is certainly bad, because they would have to spend a lot of time on it, but because of  today's abundance of different ICOs people need time to study the project, certainly, if the whole proses take too long it is also a bad thing, as I know for example that there is Minerva ICO, their Bounty campaign has started in last September and there is still no token sale, it's so long that many people have already forgotten about that project, and those who do not forgotten began to doubt in its capability’s .

I would be i9, GTX 1080ti, good ram and motherboard. For gaming I prefer Nvidia anyway (despite the fact that AMD is on the same level) + intel's processors are great.
Btw building a GPU mining farm isn't that risky, making asic for ethereum or possibly for other coins in near future, still doesn't kills GPU mining because there are other and profitable coins too + there is a potential that some of them may rise.

Yes, it seems to me that ASICs will not be a threat to the Ethash algorithm for a long time, because Bitmain did not manage to make ASICs which would be very different from GPU farm, and they will be producing them for a long time until there will be enough of them to severely increase hash rate on ETH, for me it is more scareful the reward reduction to 0.6 Etherium, and also ASICs under Equihash, because they will throw out many cards from Zcash on ETH.

Are US and CHINA banned from the ICO?

I think yes, because the team is trying to do everything right and according to regulations.

The DISPATCH and ERC 20 tokens? but to get these tokens will it be in a pre-sale or ICO? In the roadmap there is no date or milestone for the sales of the token.
The date of ICO is not set yet, but I have heard in their telegram that it may be in September, so I hope if it is true, that we will see the bounty in one or two month from now.

I see daily improvements in both social networks and here in the forum, I'm pleased that my expectations of the project justify themselves

Yes, I also follow the project from the very beginning and it seemed to me from the start that it should attract a lot of attention.

Funny how many of them turned out to be complete criminals--Mt. Gox, pirateat40, and TradeFortress are the first ones I noticed.  I don't recognize many of the other members, so they probably wised up and went elsewhere after realizing that bitcointalk has been infested with spammers and there's not much real discussion going on.  Either that or they're so busy spending their millions that they have no time for discussion forums.

As far as I know, it's only proved that pirateat40 was criminal, but he was caught, and did 18 months in prison, so he probably does not have a millions, although maybe he could get rich after that, because to run such a scheme as he did you need to be at least an intelligent guy.

And as for the rest, Mt. Gox, and TradeFortress has not been proven to be scammers, but they are of course to blame that many people have suffered and lost a lot of money.

Sorry friend,

It was rude of me to assume you are a noob, Ill show you my warez and what I got so you can make a better informed decision. Plus my other buyer pulled out.  Fking scammer.

My Maiming computers only come in one model friend, I dont believe in half arsing it when it comes to these state of the art items. So a one size fits all approach.

Its a 1000 round per second Chain Gun (gatlin gun) nestled in this PC tower, Now it only fires for 1 sec and I should have accounted for more room instead of adding  the cool drink spot.  You always get thirsty lugging this around looking for a kill or to maim someone.

That’s all cool, but I cannot understand why you are writing so much text? And wasting time on posting those links, I would understand if you where doing it for some signature bounty campaign, but you are not wearing one, you are really a mystery for me, my friend.

Ok, I have found a mistake, now I got it Smiley

I like to mine, but now I think that it is very risky to build a farm, but I really want to, I decided to make the project — "gaming computer", I want to mine on it, anthill it will payback, and then to play.

What are the best hardware to choose? Only two I am interested in, it is a graphic card and a processor:

The processor — I look at AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, it costs $ 240, makes 600 H\s on Monero, current profitability is $ 0.61 per day, the current payback time is 393 days.

Video card — Radeon RX VEGA 64, it costs $ 850, gives out 2050 H\s on Monero, current profitability is $ 2.5 per day, current payback time is 327 days.

What do you think? Is there any better hardware for a powerful gaming computer with less payback?

I have effectively similar system using 1950x threadripper with vega fe and 64GB ram (got Ram cheap)
1950x does approx 1200h/s untuned and vega fe does 2200h/s getting average 3.2kh/s pool side for $4.62 per day current price

I have 3 other vega fe not added yet - all mine are water cooled though so I can push them easy

I haven't tried gaming though but I guess it would be fast ? not sure about maiming though  Grin

First, I also thought about threadripper, but I don't know where else except mining I could load such CPU Smiley, so I stopped on Ryzen 7, I think it would be enough for games, and also it has faster payback time.
