Well, been stuck for about a month now. I think she's dead (again).
Agreed...Only 1 active connection. Stopped at 2/16...can't seem to catch up past that date.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the increase in rewards,
but it seems like it started after i read the below posts and changed my port
from 24240 to 24241. Anyone else seeing this?
Not the rpc port, the client connection port which is 24241 for Sync.

SYNC development is absolutely tied to the PARETO project and if product market fit is not achieved then it will be one of the failed ventures.
I have several wins in the blockchain space and in business ventures and several losses. Some losses become wins in the future.
For SYNC I'm not sure if people really need to keep active connections right now, since there are several ways to do a token swap, one of which doesn't require a blockchain transaction. Other ways could involve people running the client at a future date to create new connections. If you must run it, just use a low resource computer, maybe even like a Raspberry Pi
What happens with pareto? Why is the price so low?
Shouldn't we move Sync to another chain?!
It's very difficult to synchronize. It takes a long time to download the current chain . With 5 connections, it took me 25 days to download it.

if you open the rpc port ( by default is 24240 ) you get 5 connections .

Has the POS block reward changed? I seem to be getting way more "Sync"toshi's than I used to for a 24 hour period. I can't give you a percentage increase but it is significant. THe change of reward may have been going on for some time as I don't follow the balance all that much. My rewards are all confirmed.

2. There are very few coins stacking.
3. We'll miss another bull market again.
4. If Sync depends on the adoption of the "Pareto" project, that's going to be difficult, Pareto looks dead.

I always have my wallet open. Still have 3.4 SYNC! Been holding it since i mined it on day 1.
I added the nodes you listed, but I still only see 2 connections.
I am still using the original wallet also. Is there a newer one I should be using?

let's rock guys,why is it that you can only mine at 5days?
Proof of Stake is based on time held and number held. For this coin, it's five days. For TEK, it's thirty, For HYP, 8.8, etc. It's a method of incentive.
Nice to see y'all trying to revive this. It was a cool project when it started. I was one of the guys who mined it on day one
My rig wasn't much and I didn't get much, but it was fun. Thought it was dead and done years ago, but I see several of you stepping in. Best of luck to you. Same Here. I mined this for the 5 days. I didn't have much of a rig back then either, but I managed to mine over 3 SYNC!! I still have my wallet open and earning every day. Got just about 3.4 SYNC now!!!
I'm rooting for you guys to get this coin back to market and make it valuable again!!!!

With the recent boom in Bitcoin. I decided to revive a couple of my old wallets to see what I still have in them.
I have 3.32 Sync coins still!!!
My wallet just Just finished synchronizing with the blockchain!
I haven't mined in a few years, but decided to keep everything.
I certainly hope you guys can revive Sync again! Maybe it will be worth something!
