Re: Why people are still buying BTC?
by

on 16/05/2018, 07:17:14 UTC
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
Choosing bitcoins are the easiest and smartest way to invest, We all know, how precious bitcoin is, You can even earn profit in just holding for a week, This things are proven and tested that is why most of the people are keep on their eyes on bitcoin.

Pump and dump are the common things happen when you indulge in trading cryptocurrency, You cannot make sure investment will go up, depends on how the people treated the coin in trading market, That is why sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. If i lose for one coin, I won't stop trading instead i will treat this as an eye opener, and learn from my mistakes until i succeed:)

Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers?

I think that the cryptocurrency market us unique, because many investors don't understand blockchain technology.  So they rely upon experts on YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram for information, analysis, and advice.  As a result, we have the phenomenon of crypto influencers.  Some are reputable, like Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, but others are not.  What's your opinion on Crypto influencers?  Are they good for this market and the cryptocurrency movement?  Do you take advice from them?  And who's good to follow?
Since i am just a beginner in trading, I spend most of my time watching trading tutorials in youtube, And im so glad that somehow there are cases which broadens my mind to do so, and it totally helps in my practical application in terms of transacting alt coins.

Strategize yourself using small amount as a beginner, little by little, you will adopt how it works, and learn from your experience, If you succeed in small amount then that's the best time to adjust your capital to something bigger,

A trader just made a million dollar bet that Bitcoin would be over $50k by the end of 2018  A large trader (or traders) just plopped down a million dollars betting that Bitcoin would hit $50k sometime in 2018.
Perhaps at the end of 2018, I believe it will grow about 25k, I just see the previous historical facts that  it touches 19k at Dec. 2017. I don't want to forecast unrealistic figure because it might caused frustrations to somebody who are looking forward.

Hi, a friend told me that this is the best time to start buying btc because it's price is dropping, but do you think i should wait and see if it keeps going down? I only have a small amount of money to invest. Thanks for your help, I'm new to this world
Best time is today, never wait for tomorrow because we don't know what may happen in the next few hours. It might be a surprise because the value are rising significantly, or drops down. , What ever it goes, I positvely believe that it continuous to grow because day by day, many people are crazy of making business about btc. So no more worries because it will surely bounce back:)

Re: how to start trading ?

i am very new to trading and would like to learn how to trade
...not sure where to start ... any suggestions would be very helpful ...
whats the best way to get the knowledge in this field ?
thank you
Knowledge is very important, make sure to have much knowledge, and never invest all your money because the risk is always there, Select a coin that is highly potential to earn profit, Select the fast moving coin perhaps, As a quick starter guide, you may sign up trading site such as poleniex, bittrex, hit btc,
then you may now invest trading, If you find hard how to run trading, You may simply check tutorials from youtube, then strictly follow the guidelines:)

Re: Eth Worth $30. Is it possible?
by
FiveReelsTwo
on 08/05/2018, 05:37:31 UTC
I am hodling few coins in an exchange and do some trading. Cut losses were fine with me 'coz I'm a bit scared of high loss, I am just playing in a safety mode.

But, while many are happy with the eth's continuously pumping and traders are happy to see the market's optimistic view, I am still here waiting for the Eth to drops heavily like at least $30. So, I can buy some and will experience the fruits of eth's benefits as well.  Cool Is it possible now, to reached down it's value like that? Like hello? I've been waiting for a couple of months. Lol

Am I the only one here, in the contrary of patiently waiting for eth to dump like hell?
I dont think it happens because Eth already gains trust to big investors and as of this moment the existence of etherium plays significant role to ICO's especially etherium based ICO's .

Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING?
by
FiveReelsTwo
on 08/05/2018, 05:33:39 UTC
Long term trading may take weeks, months or even a year or so. You may call it as "long-term holding" or simply "holding".

Long-term trading is good for those who:

  • want to invest
  • works at least 8 hours a day
Long term trading is no hazard to do, You just leave your money on your wallet and wait for the right time to soar up and withdraw,  This is the most efficient method to earn good income:) Short term will give you headache facing your pc or laptop, and its quiet risky because the fluctuations are unpredictable...

Re: Is technical analysis useful?

Technical analysis is very helpful to decide when and where to invest, We all know trading are risky but traders are willing to accept the risk just to earn profit, One way of minimizing the risk is deep planning, Gathering data would be easier for us to identify which one has potential and easily anticipate its movements.

Yes of course not, there are many sprouting ICO'S that are scam and very active during lunching but in a long run, it gently fades and dissapear. ICO'S today are much develop and mostly requires KYC for security reasons and avoid multiple accounts. The success rate of Ico's are mostly rely to investor's either how great or worst your project is...
