Description

So Ive been hesitant for a while even attempting to release this and I can see there are quite a few others offering similar services but I figure this might be more useful to some people then a service where you might not have a clue the files your being handed that are basically being trusted with no verification. You really could be getting anything with recompiled binaries or exe files.

This script is a 1 line solution that in the case of Ravencoin has had x16r_hash implemented into the GenesisH0 package in order to generate proper hashes to use in that specific case, it then builds everything inside docker containers which you can then proceed to getinfo from the running nodes and generate your first blocks. You can essentially use this script to clone just about anything.

There are a few extra things that need to be implemented at the moment you will have to edit the coin stats yourself unless you just want to use the same coin stats the coin your cloning uses. But for the most part is a pretty functional script. Im writing this to gauge any interest. Let me know if this kind of thing interests you or if this is just a waste of time cause everyone knows how to code their own coins now? lol.

I really would love to opensource things but would like to keep this donation based, I plan to make this as available as I can to anyone interested. I hate PM's but please PM me for now if your interested I will eventually come up with an easier to use frontend.

I forgot to automate signing the certificate... Its been fixed...

Watch out with thse guys they are getting gamed by miners stealing the entire block rewards for themselves... and when I brought it up in channel out of curiosity I was banned for not keeping things civil? Dont worry guys the money supply on the explorer is not correct... 2198330.00000000 is the money supply at the moment... Im also hanging out supporting the coin in any way shape or form so there will at least be me around meow ;P

The returns are pretty consistent enough that I figured f*ck it and doubled down... If theres anyone else willing to contribute please get involved lets build some use cases into some of our favorite low cap coins!

You still need the same ammount of IP's but you could do a hot / cold setup.... Litte safer

Does it bother anyone that Satoshi was anonymous? I understand what you're saying though there's nothing to be concerned about, I dont know a lot of lower cap coins who start out that way, but maybe thats just me?

Can anyone tell me why the hell the blockchain seems to be stalled? I was talking to some friends saying something about the headers being malformed? or wrong or something? is this true I hadnt confirmed it yet, but everywhere I look it seems like the chain has just stopped? Is this just me or is there an ETA?

I bought in pretty high too, but Im very confident about how this will turn out for me... Certainly putting my money where my mouth is, so we ride this boat together!!! Just be patient, I can assure everyone things are moving along...

The project is far from dead, among other things the website has been updated, a new partnership with www.nodeshare.in, a new trading bot called renobot... the list goes on... and its growing. If you want up to date information slack or the website is usually a good bet. I lurk her a little bit but to be honest don't spend a lot of time on Bitcointalk so pardon if the team doesn't get back to all of you right away...

Please post the code at github that suggest this not that the binaries weren't already compiled and not served from there. So its entirely plausible, would just like to see proof if there is any. Thanks

I made the tutorial, bought some figuring it was a MN coin with good branding, I wouldn't be too harsh yet with everyone coming back to "take over" and "rebrand" old coins it doesn't take much for anyone whos actually skilled in fixing any of the mentioned problems. I can confirm that the wallets stake but wasn't too sure about the masternodes either, so I'm holding on, for now, I got in cheap enough I really dont care the PoS rewards seem decent to me. That's my two cents for now.
