Staking reward won't change friend only the USD value will go down in bear market, if you are staking a coin let's say 1000 pieces and your APY is 80 you will keep getting that 80 pieces only the value will go down, not the same with mining because if mining is affected by bear market difficulty will decrease which will make your daily reward increase in quantities not in USD value

Re: we can still rely on the bounty..
by

Every opportunities in crypto space is worth seizing, I'm here today in a very happy shape because I always take chances with crypto I've joined over 500 airdrops since 2017 and few gives good rewards while many failed or refuse to pay up and bounty is even better it's just that not every projects have good team some will keep their promises while some won't, bounties and airdrops should be taken lightly because good results isn't guaranteed

Its a waste of time, the only tokens worth faucets right now are those meme coins with gigantic max supply like safemoon, shiba inu, saitama, doge dash and others, the only faucet worth my time in the past is doge coin faucets

Re: What do you have to say about this

Hmm, there is possibility that BTC will hit 19k again and ETH will hit 800$ again If this happens mining difficulty will go down I think that's the best time to try your luck with solo mining, the lower the difficulty the higher your chance

Re: Advice to new crypto miners
by
FloridaKid

Alright fellas 😜 here is my own point, in 2018 I mined so many turtle coin yes this is one of the shitcoins back then will many zeros in the value but last year this coin killed many zeros and I have millions I mined at loss years ago, sold in 2021 for 8000$, this was a coin I just mined at loss hehe

Okay probably you will not like to hear this but if you had taken the money that you paid to mine that shitcoin and bought it directly, and then sold at the same price then you would have more money than you have by having sold it because from november 2018 to july 2020, people paid to mine, meaning the coins they mined could not pay for the electricity itself, meaning, at loss, meaning, why bother, why waste your time and efforts for nothing? You could have bought and called a day and waited till bullmarket and then sold, mining only works on bullmarket and you have to get the perfect timing for that but pay attention, if you buy that coins before the bullmarket starts you will get many many times more money than mining the coin, meaning, mining anyway you see is much much worse than buying the coin directly, not saying mining is useless, mining is better than doing nothing, yes it gives you good returns but you are locked, buying the coin directly is millions of times better. The issue here is that bulltraps happen all the time, so waiting some good price can be tough for many people, you did and you were successful, many would have sold before you have and would not gain as much, so the timing to sell is also very important.
I have the graphic cards I don't have the cash at the time, also difficulty was so damn low at the time too, i also wasn't ready to sell the GPUs for coins and I'm glad I don't, I keep the damn rx580 which cost me roughly 120$ each then see what happened in 2020 and through out 2021? Mining became profitable again and I kept getting my ROI back and back again, try to understand me I got them for 120 each and mined shitcojns and still keep mining till another bull season came in 2020/2021

Re: MEXC.COM worth bagging their token?
by
FloridaKid
on 26/01/2022, 09:40:00 UTC
MEXC is a reliable exchange one of the best out there but their token value is not highly volatile good for long term holding too, still I think the early investors are the most lucky ones, I'd buy CoinEX token instead since it's a young exchange, more room to grow too

Re: ETH 2.0 is never coming?
by
FloridaKid
on 26/01/2022, 08:03:49 UTC
Its part of ETH roadmap and nothing can change this anymore, I think June 2022 can't go wrong this time around so don't get your hopes up OP,  the only painful part is PoW algorithm that will be no more honestly ETH is the most profitable coin to mine I guess mining won't be as profitable anymore

by

Let's have this discussion after ETH 2.0 is activated, to me it's never going to happen and Ethereum team will end up changing their mind for something else, PoW algorithm will forever be a thing in ETH ecosystem

1. Shiba inu < its going to be wiped away from the new frontier of memecoin, for example Vinu, simply because it fast(really fast!)  and feeless, that's a clear advantage

People are calling this vinu a scam project and I don't know what to believe anymore, it has better utility that isn't available with shiba inu but I'm not sure if it's more reliable too, what do you think? Pls reply

Re: Exchanges for new altcoins

Wait! You are wanting to get listed in an exchange and yet there is no any information with regards to your project? Even the most basic ANN thread that explains the general information of your token and the people behind it can't be found elsewhere.

Forgive me if I sound like a cunt but focusing on getting listed without having a proper foundation (e.g., token sale, whitepaper, website etc..) doesn't sound good.

Additionally, coinsbit have some scam accusations around here!

Thanks for sharing I never knew that coinsbit have some scam accusations now I will be careful with exchange, actually I've made some deposits and withdrawals on the exchange and nothing bad happened

Don't buy GPUs now it's a bad idea, if bear market is for real then in few more  months GPU price will go down but with the present market behaviour we still can't tell maybe a recovery will takes place, have patience

well, switching to HiveOS did the trick, thanks everyone for your help

now let's see if it's stable
This looks safe to me it seems this is how 5700XT is designed, they can handle high temp on vram so don't worry and keep mining, here is a pic from a friend's rig

Buckle up bear market is upon us

What do you think is the perfect time to build a new portfolio? Bear market cycle can take 2-3years some times is it wise to build portfolio right after bear market takes over? Judging from past years coins and tokens loses 95% of their value but not in an instant it was a gradual process, I think same thing will happen

Re: Does Hold is Gold

Hold will only likely turn gold for you if you hold the good coins not those that will fade away in months to few years, also I prefer building a portfolio a year to BTC halving season meaning that I won't have to hold for too long this is the smarter decision

Somehow your wallet private key is exposed, now I've decided to only store coins on a wallet that I haven't used for bounty or airdrops or even used to connect to any Dex for buying tokens, one gotta be careful this days

You have a good entry point that's why you are in comfort zone today, if I were you I'd have take some profits and hold the big boys among the coins for long term holding, how prepared are you? I'm asking this because you can see more dip in coming months, are you ready to hold for long time? You are the master of your portfolio mate

Not all coins are good for staking especially the new projects, it's better to stake a very strong altcoin even if bear market comes you wont panic, I'm talking about coins like avalanche, solana, terra Luna whatever happens it's all good

It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding

Some questions for the day

I'm about to help a friend build a 6 card mining rig so I just need some advice and questions answered, here you have it

1. What's the best thermal pad to replace RTX 3080
2. Is 3090 better than 3080 for building a 6 card rig on longevity?
3. Between 3090 and 3080 who has thermal pad issues often?
