According To expect they always say blockchain can never  be hacked and your information can never be stolen .. But day in day out Hacker are hacking  crypto exchanges to steal people asset , ETH Suspended hard Fork because  of security  reason . HitBTC and Cryptopia are understand maintenance  because of hacker .  Are   they Using block-chain technology  to  deceive Us ?...

Blockchain technology is a system use for data recording , if anyone altering the data , it will be recorded also by itself so it's been useless for hacking  while the other you mention like exchange firm is really the subject by hackers and yes it will be easier to them if you would not taking care of your private key and password  .

Re: Decentralized exchanges the future of 2019?
by

on 18/01/2019, 03:24:10 UTC
Adoption of decentralized exchanges will see an all time high in 2019, cross chain decentralized trading and atomic swaps will start to become the norm Wink

a true decentralized exchange provides many benefits:

  • No need to give up control of your funds
  • Censorship resistant orderbook
  • Impossible to hack
  • No concerns of fake volume and manipulation

This week Binance CEO CZ recommended people store their crypto on reputable exchanges... but what is reputable? If you do not have your private key, well then can you really call it crypto?

What are your thoughts? Will 2019 be the year of DEX?

Well,  normally we are using decentralized exchange but lately a centralized exchange firm were now going to operate which have a complicated step before you can proceed for trading , where for me is not in align with crypto currencies  .

I want to dedicate my life to cryptocurrency from now till five years time and see what I can learn and make from it in all way ,is it a good path to follow? Is it wise to leave my crap job behind and be fully into cryptocurrency? Anyone on here that already did the same? How is the experience??

If you go for trading and ICO investing then that's a good idea but if you go only  for bounty hunting is very poor idea and it cannot gives you a passive income and it need more efforts to support your daily expenses.

Hello friends,

Do you know of any organization in which bounty hunters can actually report in order to claim their right?, To be paid off their earning in which the campaign is holding.
I participated in a bounty campaign for several months and now when it is actually time for distribution now they changes the rule and actually introduce new rules which lead to the disqualification of more than 95% of the bounty participants. Which is actually too painful.

There are rules to be followed by the applicants and that should be implemented by ICO before starting the campaign,  so I think that is fair and nothing to fight for the rights.

Ethereum is on the rise leaving other coins like ripple and bitcoin cash it recently took back it's second place on cmc.. at already at $150.. are we going to see ethereum at $200 this month??

It's not make any surprises to me because as I know Ethereum have many supporters and users, so Its have the capability to bounce back as opportunity coming up, and also with many ICO needs Ethereum as base of their coins.

Re: Is Now The Time To Buy Quality Projects?

Recently a lot of top named coins like Ethereum & Bitcoin have plummeted. These coins have fallen LIKE ROCKS from their ATH's. However, this presents a buying opportunity. If you truly believe in crypto, then this could be an excellent time to back the truck up and load up your bags. Right now I'm accumulating as much Bitcoin & NTS as possible. I think both of these coins have future potential. Right now, I try to look at the potential these coins could have in the future. NTS is an exchange coin that I believe has the ability to do well in the long term. I think Bitcoin will transition into a store of value and continue to rise in price. What do you guys think of the market right now and do you believe there is a future?

Nauticus Exchange (Where to buy both NTS and BTC) - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/

Disclaimer - This is not financial advice, just my opinion on what I plan on doing in this market.

All the time is the best time to invest in potential coins but the question is what is the right coins to buy, so it's better to have thorough research about your prospect coins before you invest on it.

Re: How to avoid Dump after listing
by

on 15/01/2019, 13:10:10 UTC
At the time of the listing after the end of ICO, the price often dumps. Why does it happen?
I think the reason is there is no buyer because of no demand for tokens since the ecosystem is not completed after the ICO.
It may be difficult because lack of funds, but I think the team should release a product like Dapps while running ICO to make token demand.
How do you think about it?

Since we have different perspective and goal in life, so some of us like to dump all their coins after listing but for me, there's nothing wrong with that and that's part of coin circulation and with the other side some of us like to hold as part of their strategy and also nothing wrong with it.

Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019
by

on 09/01/2019, 15:45:11 UTC
This subject has been already discussed, with no conclusion obviously. Now, after a hard year there need to be more incentives for investors from coin dealers and project managers just to sell tokens. There are ETOs, but the concept seems to work for bigger entities. Dividend is more down to earth approach. Do you believe that it would be more and more normal for coins/tokens to offer additional stream of income just to get investors on board? No only as a part of the ecosystem, like Neo. Thoughts?

Well, that's really our goal of everybody here in crypto which to have a passive income so just take time to get that goal as we already know that nothing got very easily here , but it takes an extra effort to get successful.

You name it, I will say it's falling. The rise and fall may be a part of a game, but just in a year, the value is getting less and less. There are several reasons behind it. Like volatility, bad press, stringent government policies, less security and many more.

Are you still investing in cryptos? If yes what do you think is the reason behind it and please share your views so that people who are investing and wanted to invest can learn more.

Yes I will agree with all your thoughts plus some people manipulating the market and the panic selling , so with all of these activities surrounding crypto industry complimenting the prices irregularly downtrend  .

eth devs has planned a hardfork on 16th jan to halve the block reward of eth to controll the inflation.. what do you think how it is gonna effect the eth price plus sholud we hold some eth for the fork

It's really affect the price since its have an additional volume of particular coins as hardfork goings-on, so it's not good to hold for long term , it is need to dump all ETHER to avoid huge losses.

Do you think the price of Cardano is ok?

I think the price of Cardano is much too high. What do you think?

I think most of the features are still in development. The coins are listed only on some exchanges.

The quantum resisdent algorithm is not realy strong compared to the QRL chain.

What else any secret?

No , cardano will not be able to replace Ethereum because ranking of coins is not depending the price but also it refers the market capacity of coins for its supply .

Will this result in a new coin? If so... How can we get it?

If everybody will keep on holding , this might results to crisis of coin so it need to have coin circulation in the market and hard fork is one solution of this crisis but it will change the trend and the price itself .

Re: Fiat and crypto: differences explained
by
Fortified
on 23/12/2018, 14:34:35 UTC

In today’s market, there are two types of currency available to use, fiat and crypto. Both have some differences along with some similarities, too.

What do they have in common?
Both fiat money and cryptocurrency can be traded in the financial market and used to purchase goods and services. In addition, they have similar factors that control their value: supply, demand scarcity, work, and economic factors. However, while having these similarities, fiat and crypto are intrinsically different.

How are they different?
Taxation, regulation, and tender status. For instance, fiat currency is recognized as a legal tender under the Coinage Act of 1965. This means this is the medium of exchange and is acceptable for the payment of debt, public charges, taxes and dues. On the other hand, cryptocurrency is not a legal tender yet. However, it’s important to note that several countries and U.S. state of Ohio started offering to pay government taxes in crypto.

Fiat currency is always backed by the government. Cryptocurrency operates on a decentralized blockchain ledger. Fiat money is printed under the guidance, permission and control of the central government, cryptocurrency is mined with the help of all crypto users taking part in its creation through a blockchain network.

Read More About PROS & CONS

Additional difference is fiat money have their physical appearance in accordance with what country did you belong while crypto currency have no real physical appearance and another difference of fiat is centralize in nature while crypto currency is decentralize .

2019 seems to be a new hope for crypto, because some developments will probably occur that year, for example Ethereum will soon fork as a refinement and as a means to increase prices, do you all believe 2019 will be better for crypto currency?

Generally year 2018 is not good for cryptocurrency , although some people are still able to earn money in crypto base of independent strategy and in year 2019 is very promising for crypto as we look back the history with no successive bad year for crypto currency .

BTC has recovered from $3200 to $3700 in few days and shown recovery of $500 is it a reflection of bull run because it has a stronger base near $3200 level .

It's slowly climbing , so that's a good sign for Bitcoin even in this bearish market , we just see a positive trend of the graph so we'll just continuous supporting crypto as a source of our extra income aside from our regular job

XRP is a shitcoin that does not deserve to be here. Why are people investing in a centralised bank solutions instead of supporting the idea of decentralisation and buying real crypto currencies. Seems really strange for me.

Most investors want to make money whether a coin is centralised or decentralised.

Yes , investors wants to use ripple as payments for their shipping business  as they use blockchain technology for it , and this is good if there is already rules and regulation in a particular country so I think more centralize coin will come soon .

Re: The BTC crash is good news for Altcoins

https://cointelegraph.com/news/why-did-crypto-market-experience-a-27-billion-wipeout-experts-discuss-factors

Every situation has a bright side, you just have to look at the bigger picture!

According to Crypto Rand, a currency trader and technical analyst,

"We will have to wait some more months until BTC settle down its path through a potential reversal, but the alternative cryptocurrency market could take its own direction getting rid of the BTC influence. The big caps altcoin response has been amazing so far."

Further on, the article goes on to say,

"Institutional investors are focusing on products that provide investor protection and strengthen the infrastructure of the crypto market."

Such volatility doesn't mean anything. The true value of cryptocurrency lies in a strong foundation (which requires user-friendly decentralized marketplaces where we can use cryptocurrency, and added security in the form of escrow systems) which will be made possible with the upcoming ICO's.

They're not all scams!

Yes there few of altcoins are going to survive without the needs of BTC to going up but a few of these only which have a usuable platform and unique from others functions so an ICO should have a unique function in order to survive alone without depending other cryptocurrency .

Sometime we found bm not fair about token allocation. All bounty hunter must have felt this and if our protests are certainly not a lot of things we can do. As a bounty hunter we should also be careful. Do you have this experience also ? and what are you doing after that ?

Token allocation is always written at the beginning including the rules so if you felt not enough and not worth for your effort so you just simply not to join unless they changing after bounty , though they have all the rights but its unfair , then that is the time to protest .
