Re: Im looking for traders and financial people to join with me
by
Framelover
on 26/07/2023, 15:08:39 UTC
Hi, Im not here to tell anyone where to invest or how to invest or give any suggestions about financial decisions.
Little bit about my background:
I been trading crypto and Im self learner and i been learning about finances.
I can make conclusions by looking the indicators and gepolitical events on the macro economical scale and i think it's wonderful.

Im looking for people to connect and reach to success together by sharing ideas and knowledge and who knows maybe one day we could meet up or Even make our own hedge fund or large successful financial instution.
I'd like to have conversations with others about finances and situation when we can make profit on forex commodities or with crypto.
We could also share the new ideas together so Im looking for people like me the people who want to make money by analyzing the world and how it can have impact over the financial field.
Btw.. it's always Nice to find and meet with people who's interested about same things.

LET me tell one more time i don't want to sell anything or give any economy or financial predictions Im looking for people with who i can discuss about reasons not just give out ptedictions or suggestions to invest or buy anything.

One of the most interesting topics are forex the geopolitical events can have large impact over the fiat currencies and that's interesting for me so i'd like to share with Open mind people my formula to predict forex Market.

I do little bit the futures trading Also and i invest in presale crypto projects.

So i'd like to create the chat group and anyone whos interested about same things can join and we can share together knowledge.

Thank you so much guys Smiley
I admire your enthusiasm OP. However, as a newbie, it's important to build yourself up and gain trust within the forum before discussing and sharing complex financial strategies or forming collaborative ventures like a hedge fund or financial institution outside the forum. Engaging in conversations and contributing your insights gradually will help establish your credibility over time. No doubt that sharing knowledge and ideas is valuable, but be cautious about making bold predictions or investment suggestions without proper experience and research. Good luck.

How to grow the bitcoin you have without being involved in gambling or putting it in a custody wallet for APY. Is there any proven low risk method.
The simplest and safest way is to hold your bitcoin as a long term investment, watch the market and see how it goes. You can also consider investing in promising cryptocurrency projects or startups that could yield you interes, but ONLY IF YOU HAVE QUITE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING of the cryptocurrency space. Please, bear in mind that investment comes with risk and you should ensure you gather quite an amount of knowledge before taking any step. Personally, I’d rather Hold my bitcoin no matter how long, than any other option.

Re: Fix the money, Fix the world.

The Rich/Government has used money as a tool to oppress the poor in a way that they practically use it to control everything in the world with the help of financial institutions.

The high class as they are called has maintained dominance in everything, not to be bitcoin biased or cynical, but in this case, I see Bitcoin as the alternative to this controversy and if we want to eliminate the power that is intoxicating us, then we must advocate for alternative means, Bitcoin as a currency without any central control will handle this menace in a manner that everybody will have power, control and self custody of their bitcoin, the market forces will now depend on more individual investments in it and group or institutional adoption, just imagine making Bitcoin handy and accessible to the populace.

I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.
It's been established that money has long been used as a tool of oppression but it's also important to consider the feasibility of the transformation which you think bitcoin can make. Yes, bitcoin offers decentralization and individual control, but achieving full adoption and eliminating the existing power dynamics may not be practical. The influence of the rich and governments is deeply entrenched, extending beyond the realm of traditional finance. As bitcoin's decentralized nature has advantages, its widespread adoption and accessibility to the entire populace face significant challenges. Additionally, the complexities of socioeconomic disparities cannot be solely addressed by a single currency.

on 17/07/2023, 15:33:07 UTC
I know everybody is not in a same class but still we all do budgeting, expenses and impulse. How much do spend a day? Do you think is possible to program your daily expenses?
On average, I spend around $8 per day, considering my earnings and the economic conditions of my country. However, this question solely depends on individual’s lifestyle, responsibility amongst others and priorities differ greatly. As for programming daily expenses, it is possible to develop systems or tools to help track and manage finances effectively. With proper planning and disciplined execution, such programs can contribute to more efficient financial management and help achieve long term goals.

Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession
by

on 15/07/2023, 18:52:52 UTC
YES!, agriculture has a very strong hold in rescuing a county from recession. It offers an opportunity for economic revival. It provides a solid foundation for self sustainability, it fuels job creation, from small farm holders to agribusiness enterprises. The entire agricultural value chain creates employment opportunities. Agriculture also acts as a catalyst for economic growth beyond its own boundaries. Agricultural products, both raw and processed, serve as valuable exports, bringing in foreign exchange and strengthening the trade balance.
I must commend you for your taking a step into Agriculture. It may seem small but don’t give up. Give it your best shot and see how it’s gonna yield you good profit in the long run.

Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business
by
Framelover
on 15/07/2023, 18:00:06 UTC
How long in years should I go before I give up and close down a business that is unprofitable?

I was listening to a podcast where Kelvin O'Neal1 was featured. He said, "If you are not making money after 36months(3 years), you've gotta take a behind the barn and shoot it. It's just a hobby. It's not a business."

According to him, "people can get so stuck on a bad idea that they just keep thinking that if I keep working on it, it's going to fix itself. It doesn't fix itself. It was put on your journey to teach you, what not to do."

- To what extent do you agree or disagree with this assertion ?

-Have you had a business that even though it wasn't profitable in the first three (3) years, then it  kicked off to bring in good returns in the fourth (4th) year?

Success stories with delayed profitability exist, but they are not the norm. While some businesses may indeed struggle in their initial years before eventually becoming successful, there is no guarantee that a profitable outcome will be achieved in the fourth year or beyond. The timeline for determining when to give up an unprofitable business depends on factors such as industry, market conditions, type of business, and efforts made to turn it around. For me, I won’t spend over three years in a non profitable business.

many gambling addicts have lost their minds because their desire to continue gambling overpowers their common sense, hence the importance of "gambling responsibly"
In the realm of gambling, some individuals have ventured so far beyond conventional limits that they've staked not only their possessions and livelihoods but even risked their most sacred connections, such as gambling their spouses. It is really disheartening to see/hear how the toxic grip of gambling addiction can drive people to such extreme measures. Their obsession overrides their rationality, and they find themselves descending into a state of mind where common sense ceases to exist. This serves as a stark reminder of the significance gambling responsibly.

Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad.
by
Framelover
on 15/07/2023, 12:20:45 UTC
Though I've had losses in gambling but I've never had such a sad one like he's, I was introduced to gambling by a coursemate in college who won a jackpot, thought I lost in my first three trials but played again and won about 80k in my local currency, there are people that's made millions through gambling and some others are yet to win but still find it difficult to quit, share your experience if you have any whether good or bad, cause I believe there are people here who would learn from it.
I'm not an addicted gambler, but rather a seasonal gambler who enjoys it for entertainment purposes. I've also had my fair share of both losses and winnings, but I approach it with a balanced mindset. Gambling attracts me because of the possibility of winning, even though the risks often outweigh the rewards. Remember that success in gambling is not guaranteed, regardless of expertise or knowledge. Each individual's experience varies, and while some may be lucky, others may face more challenges. My advice; It's important to be mindful of the potential financial consequences and please, gamble responsibly.

Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler?
by
Framelover
on 15/07/2023, 11:57:59 UTC
I heard of a story about two gamblers that got into a serious fight on the grounds that a bet they merged an amount of money equally to place  using the online account of one person among their two. Luckily for them the bet won. But something happened, when it got to the sharing formula of the total amount won the owner of the account  insisted on taking a lion's share since it was his account that was used in placing the bet. The latter refusing to accept it that way they got into a serious fight. How pathetic!

What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.
This story highlights the dangers of greed and the importance of clear financial agreements, even in seemingly small matters. Engaging in altercations over money is never a right approach. It's important to find better ways of handling financial disputes. Money should not be a catalyst for problems, but rather a means of facilitating transactions and enhancing experiences.
In this situation where two gamblers decided to merge their resources and place a bet using one person's account, it is important to establish clear terms and conditions beforehand. Oral agreements aren’t always enough when it comes to money matters no matter how close the both parties are. I trust my family, but when it comes to financial matters, I always put them into writing when it comes to business. To prevent such situations, it is wise to back up financial agreements with written documentation, no matter how small the amount involved may be.

Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins?
by
Framelover
on 15/07/2023, 10:33:57 UTC
Is it possible for a casino to go bankrupt because a player gets a very big win?

I think maybe that's hard to happen if we look at casinos that are already big and well known. But suppose there is a new casino, and there are some players who are very good at playing, so they can win continuously, can the casino go bankrupt? or do they already have an algorithm or a way so players can't keep winning?
While it is unlikely for a well established casino to go bankrupt due to a single player's big win, casinos do have measures in place to mitigate excessive losses. To safeguard their financial stability, casinos often set maximum win limits for individual players or implement payout algorithms that ensure the house maintains an edge over time. These measures help balance the risks involved in running a casino business. Casinos also operate on the principle of statistical probabilities, meaning that while individual players may experience big wins, the overall system remains profitable for the house. Successful players may be subject to closer scrutiny, including restrictions or limits on their play, but the aim is to maintain fairness and profitability rather than preventing them from winning altogether.

Re: Will you cheat in gambling?
by
Framelover
on 15/07/2023, 10:21:15 UTC
As a morally upright person that does not like to cheat people, but gambles and has lost a lot of money to gambling in a casino where you have sometimes been cheated even without your knowledge or betting on sports, will you take an opportunity you get and go against your moral standards to cheat a casino or sportsbetting place, just so you can win big at least even once.

Will you try a trick to win on casino game machines if you were told and it is a 100% working trick to cash out? Will you bet on fixed games if you get the tip early?
Casinos and gambling sites have sophisticated security measures in place to detect and prevent cheating. Engaging in such activities can lead to severe legal consequences, including criminal charges and being banned from gambling establishments. Cheating is ethically and morally wrong, regardless of the circumstances or previous losses one may have incurred. It is important to uphold integrity and fairness in all facet of life, including gambling. The thrill of winning should not come at the expense of compromising your values.
If you think/feel you've been cheated by a casino or gambling site, you should report to the right authorities for a follow up.

Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin
by

on 14/07/2023, 23:11:27 UTC
I have been thinking about trading in Bitcoin for quite some time now. I have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time but am still thinking about investing here. I used to run DPS in bank for 30 dollars per month for 5 years, this DPS will complete 5 years this month. I'll get roughly $1800, I don't think it's much of a savings to keep that money in the bank. Bangladesh is suffering from severe dollar crisis due to which many banks are likely to go bankrupt. The names of those banks have not yet been published by any mass media. Because of the economic condition of Bangladesh, I want to invest my money in Bitcoin. I still don't understand if my decision is right, please let me know your opinion
Do not invest your entire savings in bitcoin. As you already know that Investing in bitcoin is also a risky endeavor cuz of its volatility especially if you're uncertain about its potential outcomes. Given the circumstances you've mentioned, where traditional banking may face challenges, diversifying your investments can be a prudent approach. I advice you take half and start up a small business over there (i.e if you currently have no job doing), study the market, look for what's trendy and start up in a small way. You can invest the other half in bitcoin and hodl while you hope for the best.

Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot

And is there any other alternatives

I have 4k btc to invest
Copy trading and bot-based trading can be tempting options, especially with a significant investment capital like what you have. But then, it's important to be very cautious especially if you're new to bitcoin. Both approaches involve risks and complexities that require expertise and experience to navigate successfully. If you're a new to bitcoin, I won't advice you take any of those options. As an alternative, consider starting with a solid foundation of understanding Bitcoin fundamentals, learning about market trends, and exploring long term investment strategies. Educate yourself so as to make confident decisions that will likely yield better results in the long run. While you do this, Hodl your 4k BTC please.

Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor
by
Framelover
on 14/07/2023, 22:38:03 UTC
When someone has a particular wallet which he spends Bitcoins from can he be considered a Bitcoin investor?
Or does the term investor refer only to those who hodl Bitcoin?
Both spending Bitcoins from a specific wallet and hodling them can classify someone as a Bitcoin investor. The term "investor" encompasses individuals who actively engage with Bitcoin, recognizing its potential for financial growth. Whether through spending or holding, they participate in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, taking calculated steps to manage their Bitcoin holdings. Both approaches involve strategic decision making, aligning with the core principles of investment. Therefore, both spenders and hodlers can rightfully be considered Bitcoin investors.

Although this wallet is not only focused on bitcoin because there are some features that I will not use and of course there are some disadvantages but I will use this wallet for storing my bitcoin assets at this time. But I will probably only use this for a while because I still want something else for my Hardware Wallet.
It's great to see you investing in Bitcoin and considering different wallet options to secure your assets. Recognizing your own tendencies and the potential for mistakes is a valuable self-awareness.
At last, despite the challenges and drama, you have ultimately been able to purchase a wallet for your Bitcoin storage. It's a pragmatic decision to prioritize the security of your assets.
I wish you good luck with your new wallet, and I hope it providea you with the security and peace of mind you seek.

Using a Coldcard

I really like this idea... sometimes I can be too paranoid for my own good

So I bought a Coldcard ( with hardshell case and magnetic usb cable )

I sent a few sats, using Sparrow wallet... worked flawlessly... nothing connected... just sign the transaction on device, save to mini sd card, then load that file onto your PC, and into Sparrow to finalize.

Are you proud of me?
Using a Coldcard? Ah, you've ventured into the realm of icy-cool cryptocurrency security. How intriguing! It's fascinating to witness how technology empowers us to safeguard our digital assets, isn't it?
Your admission of being "too paranoid for your own good" echoes the sentiment of many who tread the path of cautiousness. But fear not, for you have found solace in the realm of Coldcard, equipped with its trusty hardshell case and magnetic USB cable, the stalwart guardians of your crypto endeavors.

I would never had thought that bitcoin would take me on a journey into life long and continuous learning. I am always amazed by the level of knowledge myself and my peers have been exposed to since we invested in bitcoin. Our non-technical background hasn't stopped me from stretching myself to learn about the universe of discipline that is embedded in bitcoin.

Understanding market trends has made me dabbled into probability and statistics. The concept of 21 million bitcoins supply cap has pushed me to learn and understand more about economics. The law of scarcity, supply, demand and the concept of money. My journey into bitcoin has lead me to learn about computer science while trying to understand how blockchain works, peer-to-peer networks. I have been also able to learn about on-chain analysis through using transaction data to make prediction of the market and  public sentiments. I have likewise been able to gather knowledge in relation to bitcoin concepts like signatures, keys, hashes, wallets. These fall under cryptography that plays a huge role in safeguarding our bitcoin transactions. I will not fail to mention how because of bitcoin I have taken a dive into the world of finance, through learning how bitcoin can help improve the problems faced by financial system and well as bringing about financial freedom. Lastly, I have been able to learn how Bitcoin protocol leverages game theory to ensure network security.

Please note that I don't know it all but I can have a light conversation on each of this disciplines in respect to bitcoin.
Thank you Bitcoin.
It’s quite inspiring and impressive to hear how bitcoin has affected you in the positive light, to also see how your nontechnical background hasn’t affected your exploration and understanding of the complex concept of bitcoin. For me, at the beginning, it was quite challenging for me to understand the concept of bitcoin as a whole, but as you stated, with dedication and understanding to the trends, I was able to begin to assimilate. And of course, it only gets better with time.

This Topic perfectly belongs to Bitcoin Discussion board and here is nothing special for beginners or about help. So you should move to that Board.
I don’t quite get what you mean but this is Bitcoin Discussion board, same board you’re referring the OP to.
