Re: [ANN] LakeBanker | Free Banking for the World

interesting.

but how to free ??  what the difference between you and okoay, perfect money etc. they are also free to transfer with a high withdraw fees. the other hand, PayPal is not free to transfer and has a relatively cheaper fee to withdraw.

so if I understand correctly, this project is completely free? or another type?

Our model is similar to many of the world's most successful technology companies. Think about emails, search engines and social media sites. They are free for the average user. As a result, they gather billions of users and make profits on value-added services.

We offer basic banking services for free. For example, user to user or user to merchant payments will be free. This will attract many users. As we acquire and analyse more user data we will generate risk-adjusted revenue by offering various types of financial services, for example p2p lending, credit cards, car loans, student loans, micro loans, residential and commercial mortgages, insurance, equities, financial advisory, funds, trusts, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, crowdfunding, and ICO.

Our business model will be fully explained in our forthcoming white paper

great!

should we would have a bitcoin credit card with a new card organization? it's really exciting!

Re: Bitcoin Exchange Reviews Collection - the most complete!

Everybody knows Coinbase so I am guessing you excluded it on purpose? What was the reasoning for that?

My favorite is Gemini
https://gemini.com/

I'm also interested to know why Coinbase is excluded. I feel like it being excluded is a red flag to not use it, yet I've heard a lot of good (and bad) things about it all over the internet.

Hi, you guy please check the time of this thread opened// coinbase had yet not run the exchange at that time.

use GBP to buy bitcoin in UK with domestic bank transfer
https://www.lakebtc.com/deposits/new?currency=gbp&source=uk_bank_transfer

the best price, low spreads

and here is the comparison of exchanges which support GBP trading  http://bittybot.co/uk/uk-bitcoin-exchanges-gbp/

Re: Why so difficult to buy bitcoins
by
Francesca
on 19/12/2014, 07:44:34 UTC
does it difficult? why did you think so?

you can find a exchange for your cleared funds here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=695082.0  is not very easy?

It's it part of the KYC (know your customer) policy. It is basically a government requirement most of the time. I think exchanges are receiving far too much confidential information than they need. That us why I sometimes buy from anonymous bitcoin ATM.

btc-e may has less kyc rules

it seems just a trade data of exchanges which are unreliable, not the transaction data from blockchain.

Now i think of it, this post is really interesting

when the $3** price becomes the norm, the contrary people do not worry about the original things that the price fall break $400.

Re: the last 3 days price, the huge arb space
by
Francesca

Bitfinex often has a leading price, or sometimes is LakeBTC step ahead, no matter, the key is that price gap usually is $10 between them and BTC-e.
This tells you what the real costs of Bitcoin transactions are. Looks like they're about $10 per round trip, in and out of Bitcoin, or, at current prices, about 3%. This is an inefficient market by modern financial standards.

It depends on the quantity of bitcoin you transfer in and out of fiat. Wire transfers usually charge the same for any transfer, no matter how big or small. However, they can take a week to complete which is really inefficient and ruins arbitrage opportunities.

I also think so, every arbitrage costs are fixed. the more time arbitrage, the less marginal cost
