Re: Real life usage of bitcoin
by

Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?

Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?

I mean we all the time correlate its value with fiat currency then buy/take then what's its purpose in my day to day life?

Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.

There are ways to "bet" if a transaction is going to be legitimate before confirmations start rolling in. You can check the address and unfold it's backwards history to see if there are older double-spendings thus I don't see a real issue here.
Also don't forget about what's going to happen in the near future, secondary chains won't need confirmations thus solving the issue for online/offline "speed requiring" shops like cafe's, bars etc.

Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site?

Today a question came to my mind that which site will be more profitable a gambling site or a dating site? Actually I want to find out that in which place people are more interested and where people mostly want to go to get fun.

Both are nice niches to look at but you need to know how to work on them, different people looking for different things. Gamblers, wanting to make a quick buck or even spend money for the lolz and on the other side people searching for companion. Fire & Ice i say Smiley

Re: How Long Does Physical BTC Wallets last?
by

I have few USB flash drives which have 'died'. Is there any estimation how long those current hardware wallets on the market, for example trezor or ledger nano, will last?

If you can keep it safe from fire and water (moisture), it can last for many years. I have a trezor wallet for over a year now and nothing happened to it because I keep it safe from bumps
In addition having the seed stored away helps me sleep tight at night Wink

Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500

That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500, and then 3 days later someone buys it at $2000. But I'm guessing that it's the risk involved in investing, so what do I do now? Sell? Or hold on them?

I hold mine for now but I'm still waiting for the price to go down even more. But overall don't worry the price will recover and who knows even reach new highs.

I do both, and if something's happens I'll know that I have saved some and in that way I won't lost much in case the price go too low.

We don't know for sure. There are left 5 days until the final results. But I think whoever is the next president of France she/he will do the same things like Trump/Clinton. If Lepen win, the only thing we are actually wining is time.

Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased?
by

It was $350-400 and I didn't know how can I actually use it, and I have a lots of money and time to get some btc. If that price return I will be the happiest man in the world, but I know something like that it's just a dream of mine :p. Anyways, I hope, I had the knowledge I have now, then.

Re: The question is when: Bitcoin at $2000. 2017 or 2018?
by
Frank Alister
on 23/04/2017, 19:21:58 UTC
It's more possible at 2018, I don't think it's time for BTC to have that price. We can always see that price in 2017, but I belive that we aren't ''ready'' for that price now. We will see..

Re: if someday the network internet totally dead .

It will be very difficult for us, who use btc, because we will lose our money. Also we will return, to time which believe anything they say in the newspapers and tv. We won't the opportunity to communicate and our economy will have bad results. Also many people are working only online, so they will lose their jobs too. In the end, only bad things will happen Sad

Re: The year of 2017 would be a golden year of bitcoin and what is your thought?
by
Frank Alister
on 18/04/2017, 18:45:47 UTC
I don't know if this year would be a golden year, because a WW3 scenario it's pretty closed, and I'm sure that the internet connection will be lost, and we wouldn't connect with each other or transfer our BTC. I hope something like that won't happen. We will see..

Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin?
by

I think that none of the banks will accept btc. They control the money, with btc can't do that, and this is something they try to avoid. And if this happens one day , this day will be not far soon.

Hopefully, nobody get hurt. Everyday this kinds of attacks with bombs are more often than before in Europe. And I think that's only the beginning Sad Unfortunately all terrorists who are responsible for those attacks never go to jail and they are still free to kill more and more people. We have to do something NOW!
