Hello all;
I used to have a little btc which sold and use in 2017-2018 , i had lost a good portion of it trying to profit trading with altcoins (bad option).
Now a days i dont have any crypto as i have used the crypto i had in 2017-2018 as my principal funds, i spent it on good and cash out the rest ( a little at a lost but i needed that money) as a student ive used it as my principal money.
Last month i spent my lasts sathosis, owning now 0.0000

But after doing some research and thinking a lot im reconsidering to buy a little (like 100-300dollars) and hold it.

Maybe selling goods i dont use i can buy a little more..
Ive spent some of that crypto in collectibles which maybe i sell here

What do you think people? go all in btc or diversify a little on alts?

Thanks in advance
I think investing in BTC and a few altcoins which you believe might be a good start, it's actually a good time to buy now compared to previous weeks, this clearly indicates that you can start making profit after a few weeks if you buy in now.

As you known, the price of Bitcoin have been reached up 12K$ in June.
And with your experience, could you share the opinion about the price of Bitcoin in November or 2019Y?
I think it is 9K in this month and reach 10K in last month of this year  Grin Grin Grin
Looking at the chart, it seems as if bitcoin is now on its downward trend, the market might remain below 10 or even lower until the end this month, if it recovers, I anticipate $15-17k high by the end of this year.

Re: What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies?
by

In my last post, I was asking why the Blockchain technology isn't adopted as fast as we suppose. I got a lot of replies which did not only enlighten me, but also enlightened others. It's cool to have lively people here. In this post, I'm asking a simple question. Since we've come to understand that some people consider the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to be scam and some other stories, what have you done to help promote the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies? How many people have you introduced them to? How active are the people you introduced?
I mostly promote it through social media platforms, sharing posts which I find significant with my followers, also word of mouth, I always tell the people to close to me about it, some are still sceptical but slowly showing interest

Re: How do people decide to create Cryptocurrencies?

Creating a new coin/token is pretty free nowadays. Also people have a wide variety of blockchains and platforms to create their token. The hard part is creating a viable sustainable ecosystem for the token value.
I agree with you, being able to establish utility for your assets and maintain the token's ecosystem is very crucial, this might drive new potential investors to invest in your project and increase the demand of your token

I think that cryptocurrencies are created to fulfil different intentions, it might be that probably they want to experiment with blockchain technology and how it can benefit their businesses and organisations since it is relatively new. However, I think the very first thing to consider when creating your own currency is to think about its  utility, what will the people use the currency for or there might be reduced demand

Re: Trade with USDT or BTC?

I use to lose most of the time in trading and it's giving me headache. I want to ask to you guys which trading pair is better preference in bear/bull markets, whether you trade with BTC  pairing during bull market or USDT pairing in bear market? I need a suggestion from community.
I always trade BTC against tether, I believe in trading speculative against stable currencies, it's actually the easiest way to make profit if you pay attention to the market, and you should be patient too or you will lose money

Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin?

The fact that altcoins like ETH, BCH and others are slowly gaining more use has made me thinking. If somebody were to HODL one currency, what could it be?
A 100% altcoin portfolio? Or a 100% bitcoin portfolio?
Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?
I personally think that it's best to always diversify, Bitcoin is the most used and trusted currency, however, there some altcoins out there with massive potential, you just need to research very well and invest wisely

Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One
by
FrankNoland

Bitcoin saw its price jumped from $400 to $800 USD per coin during the 2016 halving. Can we expect the same for next year's BTC halving?

I've written a little article on the halving and need you guys to point out inaccuracies. Let's get ourselves pump and ready to rip the benefit (if there will be any).

https://www.cryptozink.io/what-is-bitcoin-halving-when-why-2020/
Times have changed, the demand for bitcoin has slightly increase compared to 2016, I speculate that there are high chances that bitcoin might increase to about 15k-18k per BTC around halving period, BTC price is so volatile, it's been to approx $14k this year within a very short period of time, so anything is possible.

Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future
by

From my last post about Bitcoin investment,  following the valuable contributions of members of the forum,  I learnt that Bitcoin investment is not just something that blossoms in a few days,  rather it takes patience.

That gave rise to my new topic.
Bitcoin isn't just an investment, but it is the future...

Let's all share our thoughts about this, in order to encourage ourselves and build a stronger community of users.
bitcoin does exist for the future, bitcoin is 10 years now so it hasn't really died yet, honestly i'm concerned that many people hold bitcoin in their wallets but they don't introduce bitcoin to people around it, i think bitcoin will get a lot of adoptions if bitcoin continues being introduced in public spaces or people closest to you, so don't expect bitcoin to be the future if the above is not done and holding bitcoin in the bag won't help anything

We are already aware that Bitcoin is the future currency, not only in Bitcoin but also all other cryptocurrency, and because of this fact people begun to invest in the crypto world especially in Bitcoin as they know that the value of this will eventually go up beyond our expectation especially now that we know that the adoption is there.
We cant say that for sure because I heard a lot of her says that Facebook Libra will have a mass adoption by storm and when that happens then it could be that it will greatly affect bitcoin’s price but on the bright side bitcoin was here first and stayed long so I guess it will stand it’s ground and prove everyone wrong.
I agree with rather, rather we say it was the 1st currency to be created and introduced blockchain technology, I understand that it is still standing strong but we don't know what the future has for us or bitcoin itself

Everyone talks about the future, but no one for a moment imagines this future.Since you have created this topic, I would like to hear Your thoughts. What future do You imagine?
It sounds as if OP was certain and had evidence that bitcoin will take over the future(Uncertain in the sense it will be future worldwide currency or it will change into being the future), the term future is broad and promises will lead other people/investors into the deep whole. I am not opposing you, I am just interested to hear all OP's thoughts about this topic and clarifications

I am not opposing you, but i think we probably should not be too optimistic about the future since we don't what is has for us. Facing reality, Bitcoin is just an investment, nothing or less, let's look at bitcoin in both sides, the good and the bad. Do you think that all the people who bought bitcoin at its all time high($19 000-$20 000) feel the same now?
I get the impression that you just anticipating $1mil per BTC exchange rate. You will be surprised by how things can always change and the future ofcourse.
if you think that bitcoin is just an investment, it seems like you don't know much about the technology in it. blockchain technology is currently pretty much in demand in education, I found the concept of learning in udacity. You should find out about blockchain technology and rethink your current opinion
I can assure that I understand how blockchain technology works, I have been involved in this industry for over 4years now, I am a known trader and crypto enthusiast, I might not know all about it and the recent integrations, I am just saying that we shouldn't be too optimistic about the future, Bitcoin was previously anticipated to be trading around $50- $100 000 around this time by known crypto analysts, and we where we are at now; $8600 today.
