Re: Emotions can hinder our success!
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/08/2018, 17:38:32 UTC
We have a seen a huge dip in the market this past few days after the ETF delay. I've read an article in cointelegraph that people are just overreacting on the said delay (https://cointelegraph.com/news/pantera-capital-ceo-investors-overreacting-to-etf-delay-should-focus-on-bullish-news). Honestly, I do agree with the article, there are a lot good news right now for market to experience a dip.

I think we need to control our emotions when investment is involved, don't sell when you are in panic. Try to think carefully and think more than 7 times before you click or do a transaction. ETF delay is not a bad news for me. I think it is a way for people to do panic selling and those rich people will abuse the dip and buy all the cheap BTC and after that, the ETF will be approved.

Right now, the market is green again and I think many people regrets selling their coins at a low price.

This is just my opinion, how about yours?

You should always do an independent analysis before deciding what to do. This year, the lowest price for Bitcoin was $ 5,800, so why sell when it costs near the bottom? This is the same thing that you decide to buy when the price reaches $ 20,000. Certainly, the situation now has more to do with purchases.

Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl?
by

on 30/08/2018, 17:35:43 UTC
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

Discuss Smiley

For me, the main motivation is that a few months ago I could sell my coins for $ 5000 and now they cost $ 1000. I do not see any reason to sell now, even if the fall continues. I do not think that this market will die, many influential people have big assets here, so I decided to just hold.

Re: make sure you are investing for a project that will adds value or has purpose
by

DO NOT INVEST IN COINS THAT HAVE ADD NO VALUE OR YOU CANNOT SEE ANY REAL PURPOSE, BECAUSE MOST LIKELY COINS THAT DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE SCAMS.

MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS CHECK OUT WHITEPAPER AND ROADMAP, AND THAT FROM THOSE TWO SOURCES YOU CAN ACHIEVE TO COMPREHEND PROJECT AND PURPOSE

I completely agree with you. When people collected money, they somehow immediately have some problems with roadmap, with past agreements and something goes wrong. To be sure that your money will not be lost, you need to invest only in projects that have been working for a while and only then decided to conduct ICO.

Re: What is the best way to start an ICO?
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 18:02:47 UTC
Hi everybody, I'm might be a fool, but to me what is important about cryptocurrency, blockchain etc is not to make a financial speculation but more about revolutionizing things that for decades have been corrupted or maybe not possible because possible government shout down.

With that being said, if somebody has a good idea that can be decentralized and crypto friendly, what would be the best way to start a project?

In order to get an ICO started it's ideal to get people involved in the project team, is there a source where is possible to share an idea and maybe get an ICO started?

I think that the most important thing is to create a product, or at least a prototype, and only then to collect money. The market is full of projects that have only a "good idea", but few projects that bring real value. If you want to start, build a team, develop a product and then ask for money to improve it.

Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors?
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 17:55:19 UTC
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.

I think yes. Because usually bounty hunters try to choose only the best projects and why not to invest in them? For me, this is a great opportunity to get free coins in addition to those that I already bought. And it seems to me that people who understand, try to do the same.

Re: Top 5 Altcoins Under $1 to Invest In 2018.
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 17:48:21 UTC
Cryptocurrency market has been always bringing big incomes to investors. While generally the value of a particular cryptocurrency is influenced by the Market Cop, then again, there is various potential crypto financial specialists that are continually looking into the best Altcoins under $1 to put resources into. Hence, here are the main 5 Altcoins under $1 to Invest In 2018.
Why does someone think that the price is so important? Why do not you consider how many coins are in circulation? This is much more important moment. For example Bytecoin hardly ever will reach $ 1. But Mixin will never cost $ 1, due to the fact that it has very few coins in circulation. You do not correctly look at things.

Re: How do you find good ICOs to invest in?
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 10:16:24 UTC
Putting resources into ICOs or completely useful new monetary standards can be extremely productive because of the way that one can get in resource speedy and frequently in front of other market members. Anyway picking terrible coin can without much of a stretch prompt finish loss of investment if something turns out badly on advancement or coin has no long haul utilize and the market loses confidence and trust in money which prompts fall of significant worth.

How do you think one should pick good ICOs?

Personally, I use telegramm for this. I have several groups in which they describe and talk about new projects that appear. If I like the idea and the basic data, I begin to study the project myself and after the analysis I already make a decision about investing. Unfortunately recently there are quite a few good projects and it takes a lot of time to spend on studying in an empty.

Re: Will NEO become strong?
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 10:10:34 UTC
As a background, NEO is a blockchain platform and cryptocurrency supporting a scalable network of decentralized applications. It bears resemblance to Ethereum at its core but has its own unique features.  Unlike Ethereum, it integrates other cryptocurrencies into its network, which gives it the potential to become a global digital system in today's smart economy.

NEO touts its accessibility as one of the key platform features because common programming languages are accepted on its platform.

Link: NEO price prediction: strong growth potential?

How do you think about NEO?

It's hard to say, because now it's rather expensive to create a project on the NEO platform and it seems to me that's why so few projects appear on this block. But since NEO is strongly supported by the Chinese, I think that it has every chance of being in the top. But for this they need to attract more people to use their platform.

Re: Bitcoin Dominance Gradually increasing - Green Signal
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 09:43:34 UTC
Bitcoin dominance is gradually increasing , this means Bitcoin is ready to moon. the same situation happened last year , first btc dominance increased then  LTC and ETH.

how about your views?

This is indeed so. On the one hand, it's good, because the market is getting ready for big growth. But on the other hand it's bad for those who have the entire portfolio of altcoins, because if Bitcoin starts to grow rapidly, all other coins will fall. The right decision will be to keep at least 50% of your money in Bitcoin.

Re: BTC in 2018?
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 09:40:23 UTC
What we can expect from BTC around December 2018.  There are many predictions, some say it will go around $40,0000, some says it will same around all whole year, and there are other many other different predictions.  What’s your saying?

I doubt that we will see any great price. It seems to me that this year there will be no such volatility, and Bitcoin will slowly grow or fall. Personally, I think that by the end of the year the price will be about $ 12,000-14,000 that would be excellent. But I do not exclude the bad option, if we can not overcome the mark of $ 10,000, then the price will remain in the range of $ 6000-8000.

Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency?
by
FreddySelvig
on 30/07/2018, 09:34:55 UTC
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?

Yes, recently a lot of people leave because of the fact that they do not have enough patience. But I do not see anything wrong with this, there will be more opportunities for those who really believe in the crypto currency. Leave those who wanted to come and quickly earn, and then realized that not everything is so simple.

Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC?
by
FreddySelvig
on 26/07/2018, 11:40:37 UTC
It depends on the price that will be on the market. If she completely suits me, then I will sell all the coins, and if not then I will keep everything. I participate in those projects where I am sure and if the price does not suit me now, then I better wait. Personally, I did not have such experience that my coins were almost completely devalued.

Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending?
by
FreddySelvig
on 26/07/2018, 11:35:11 UTC
Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?

Of course I agree. You do not sign any contracts, as in normal work. Basically, campaign bounties are built on trust in a good manager and an adequate team. But because they understand that they can do everything, they prolong our work, it costs nothing to them. This is another reason to choose those campaigns where the end date is specified, and which do not end with the ICO.

Re: What Happened To Tron(TRX)?
by
FreddySelvig
on 26/07/2018, 11:23:23 UTC
We may understand that the price of tron is low because of it low supply. But what happened after the main net launch?
They have successfully transitioned from Ethereums blockchain to their own blockchain. In commemorating this activity they even burned 1 Billion worth of Tron.
Recently Tron also had partnership with PornHub. But why is there no price rally happening in Tron?
Is tron really made out of Hype? Is it really a so called "shitcoin"?
Plus there is an ongoing Election of Super Representatives.
That is believed to play the part in stabilizing and improving the value of TRX by representing the will of contributors to the project and providing the much-awaited governance of the project.

In my opinion, maybe after the Super Representatives election there will be a sudden rise of price to TRX. Also I think that a lot of pump and dump group went into TRX because of the news Justin Sun always giving us.

What about you? What is your opinion on TRX?

P.S Lets Respect Each Others Opinions Smiley
Have a Great Day.

I think that the main events that were expected from Tron have already ended and therefore interest in it fell. This is not shitcoin, so it happens to all coins, or do you think that it should constantly grow? As the time comes, TRX will show itself, and now the accumulation period has begun.

Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence
by
FreddySelvig
on 26/07/2018, 11:18:34 UTC
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

So why you will pass KYC to get an airdrop coins which you will sell for a couple of dollars? I think it's not worth the time, given that your documents can get into other hands. Every day there are many new airdrops that do not require KYC, why choose those where it is needed?

Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin?
by
FreddySelvig
on 24/07/2018, 07:50:40 UTC
Hi, good day guys! Newbie here so I'm asking you to help me with my long term investment. Aside from bitcoin, where should I invest my money and Why?

I think that it's best to make a choice on projects that are already being used. If you want to invest for a year or more, I would not risk investing in projects that do not have anything yet. You can not predict what will happen to him after a long time. Therefore, it is better to choose real projects that will exist for more than one year.

by

on 24/07/2018, 07:44:40 UTC
Recently since Bitcoin are up trends but all most all alt coin are bleeding badly. Really it wasn't expected Angry. On previous record we can see if Bitcoin bump tham alt was bump more. I don't know the exact reason for that. I guess alt are waiting for Bitcoin ETF ( Excahnge Traded Fund) for SEC approval. We expect midle of next month we can see the result. Till that alt coin holder should be pataine. At least Bitcoin on bulls run that is good sign for alt holder. Once a time alt will bump too.

Yes, now the market is exactly the same situation as in the fall. That's why it's very important to store 50% of your money in Bitcoin. Maybe Bitcoin really will cost $ 50,000 before the end of the year, but just no one will have it, because everyone will stay with cheap altcoins Cheesy

Re: How do you stay informed about Altcoins?
by
FreddySelvig
on 24/07/2018, 07:41:29 UTC
There are now many hundreds of Altcoin and token projects. Most of you will certainly be invested in many. How do you manage to keep informed about them? Do you use special websites or tools as well as strategies not to miss anything?

Usually I use sites such as ICOdrops or ICObench or channels in a telegram. There are a lot of new projects coming to the market, so I try to spend a little time to evaluate, about 10-15 minutes. It seems to me that this is enough to evaluate the project, if I do not like something, I will not even go into his analysis

Re: Your reaction to recent pump and then dump
by
FreddySelvig
on 23/07/2018, 10:18:45 UTC
This is getting frustrating. I thought that we are now going to the moon because BTC surpassed $7000 resistance level and we saw that most altcoins follow. I bought ETH for $513 then now it is getting dump where the current price is $470. in just 12 hours, i lost $43. What is your reaction and strategy when altcoin gets pump?

The first thing you need to understand is because of what this pump has happened and whether there are any fundamental reasons for this. It's easy to determine when a coin rises sharply without any news this is the usual manipulation. In this case, it is better to sell your coins, because the price will fall. And before buying you need to think twice to avoid losing money Wink
