Unfortunately, i'm not a "software pro" and the BitcoinCore is not able to open anymore for the last 2 or 3 weeks.
I've got this message :

"a fatal error occurred, see debug.log for details" .

In this file i have very often that :

AddPortMapping(8333, 8333, XXX.XXX.X.XXX) failed with code 718 (ConflictInMappingEntry)

Any advise ??

Just in case, do you see any other error / warning message? If you're not sure, you could try share content of debug.log either here or website such as Pastebin.

Hello and thanks a lot for your contribution. Here are the details of debug.log :

Hi and thanks for your answer,

I used to be under v25, i just tried to upgrade to v27 but it did not work, same message...
Does the error still appear when you add the line to bitcoin.conf? It should be an error that is associated with upnp instead of Bitcoin Core. Is the portmapping error the final line before Bitcoin Core closes?

Hello and thanks for your answer,

Sorry but i'm not very familiar with modifiying BitcoinCore so i don't know what you mean by "adding the line to bitcoin.conf

If you're running your node from 2017 on, it could also simply be that there's no space left on the storage device. Do you operate a full or a pruned node? How much free space is on the device that stores your Bitcoin Core files? Running out of space should produce some other debug.log entries, though than this port mapping issue.

I'm not sure if
Code:
AddPortMapping(8333, 8333, XXX.XXX.X.XXX) failed with code 718 (ConflictInMappingEntry)
is the terminating error, even when it shows up multiple times in your debug.log file.

What is written as fatal error indication in your debug.log when Bitcoin Core terminates?

Hello and thanks for your answer, sorry for not being able to answer sooner to all of you :

- yes I run a full node since 2017 on a 904 Go harddrive, I still have 27 Go a freespace...

Update a few years later...

Waves was in fact a scam...they stole a lot of money on their DEX by changing the real value of the assets that were on...So cautiaus because they're still operating...

Re: Déclarer ou pas ses crypto-monnaies ???
by
FrenchBTC
on 22/02/2018, 14:33:39 UTC

PEACE,
HC

by

How can you be so many to advice RIPPLE !???

-100 bilions supply
- only 38 in circulation, the rest owned by a team which can do whatever they want at any time so :
- 100% centralized.
- it just pumped from 0.006  to 2.23

Come on guys ! Are you really serious !??? And with all of that you think that's the big deal for 2018 ?

This list is, even if nobody can be sure of the future, more a good one regarding what this new tech can bring to us :

1) BITCOIN
2) WAVES
3) KOMODO
4) SPECTRECOIN
5) WANCHAIN

These are just my favorite ones and there are so many...But please don't even mention RIPPLE or BitcoinCash "crash trash"...

Hi,

We all know SEGWIT adoption is important because it's necessary for Lightning Network to be implemented.
Lots of platform are or will very soon adopt it, we alrady can use it with our Ledgers Nano S or Trezor hardware wallets.

I was just wondering on which website we can follow SEGWIT % growth on the Bitcoin network, just did'nt find it...

Thanks for sharing and for your point of view on Segwit

Re: Is Binance safe to store cryptos?

Hi,

For me no centralized exchange is safe !...So not Binance, not COin Base, not Kraken not Bitrex, Bifinexx, Cryptopia, Poloniex and all the others...
Today it's still more convenient tu use them but as a logical way of thinking about the advantages of cryptocurrencies, 2018 will be the year of DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES :
that's one of the reason why WAVES will be huge this year with their new dex...
