Do you have translation bounty? I would like to translate into Filipino.

No, not at this stage. The product is currently English only, and plans for translations are only later in the year, prioritized on demand from the player community.

All set to kick off week 1!

A few tips and notes on some of the unique and noteworthy aspects of 8Bet, as some inspiration for your weekly tweets and blog posts:

  • 8Bet is zero edge, 100% return to player
  • The platform is run as a cooperative - powered by the players
  • Provably fair, based on the Bitcoin blockchain - more on how it works
  • Lottery games start paying with just two ball matches
  • Unique staking model, with player staking jackpot and earning a return on stakes

Note that all tweets must:
  • link to the home page (https://8bet.io)
  • use the hastags #bitcoin #lottery (or variations such as #btc or #bitcoinlottery)

$$$ Bounties paid weekly in Bitcoin Cash $$$

This is a SERIOUS program for QUALITY CONTRIBUTIONS ONLY. Every submission reviewed - anything remotely spammy will be rejected outright with no payment and the member blacklisted. Please don't participate if you are not serious - you will waste your time and ours.

! This program is only open to participants over the age of 18 !

Still here?
Welcome! If you're serious about quality content and adding value, then we're serious about getting you the bounty you deserve. We're kicking off with our Twitter and Blog bounties. You won't have to post often, but you must post quality. Good bounties, fair value - paid regularly, paid fast.

Bounties are:
  • 0.0005 BCH per original tweet - max 3/week
  • 0.0001 BCH per retweet - max 3/week
  • 0.015 BCH per original blog post - max 1/week
Bounties paid weekly into your 8Bet.io account - you can transfer/Shapeshift whatever you want to - funds are yours.

To participate in the Twitter bounty you must:
  • have more than 200 followers
  • have a Twitter audit score greater than 90%
  • be tweeting mainly (50%+) about crypto or blockchain tech
  • start following @8BETio on Twitter

To participate in the Blog bounty you must:
  • have more than 200 subscribers or readers/month
  • be primarily blogging about crypto/blockchain or about gambling/lottery
  • write original content, in good English, including screenshots/images where appropriate
  • include appropriate links to https://8bet.io or one of the game pages on the site

For good, qualifying content in both the Twitter and Blog campaigns - you will need to be familiar with the 8Bet lottery product. This is pretty simple and easy - there are just two lottery games (pick 6 from 40 balls) which you can access immediately upon sign up. You should have a good look at the games, and the other functions on the site such as Staking, as well as reading about the unique aspects of the 8Bet player cooperative on the blog (https://8bet.io/blog/). The blog also explains how the Provably Fair model works, and how these 100%-return games compare to the current lotteries in the world. This should all give you plenty of material and ideas for your own original content. And if you have any questions about any of this, feel free to ask here and we'll get you the answers you need.

Steps to apply to the bounty program:
1. Sign up at https://8bet.io - this is the bitcoin lottery site, you MUST be over 18!
Your bounties are paid weekly into your 8Bet account.
2. Fill in the application form here: https://goo.gl/forms/a8R1Iuqht5btBMdN2

That's it. All applications will be reviewed and those that qualify will be posted here, with a link to the web site for tracking progress and payments.

Re: ICO unethical behaviours - abusing your bounty hunters - name & shame
by

I realise this is a name-and-shame thread focused on those doing it wrong... but can we have some examples of one that did it right, all the way through ?

(this won't hype any existing programs - since necessarily they will be over now in order for someone to have assessed them as doing them right to the end)

Signed messages are an interesting side use.

Signing a message with your Bitcoin private key, perhaps referencing the latest block hash as a time stamp - for example to prove you held some piece of information at a certain time.

Of course. There are many attack vectors - all of which are unwieldy and brutish. So if motivated enough, it could be done... but certainly ticking off a good chunk of their citizens (not just the crypto kids)

There's a place for each. Supply and demand. While there is a demand for loans and what they offer, institutions wanting to profit from this need will supply
