I will pick it up within 24 hours and ship it to any location in the continental US free of charge.
What about international shipping to Europe?

Good info, thanks for the update terrahash.

What's needed to cool the board at 275-300?

Right now I am using an old AMD processor fan/heatsink. I applied some heatsink paste, however, the board is not screwed to the heatsink, its just placed on top of it. Its working!

Good enough for testing, but it is short term. How about durability and temerature?

BitSyncom is certainly ready for these orders Smiley

The bad thing is, difficulty will raise again.

Dude that's an assembly line for individual Avalon unit manufacture, Yifu hasn't gone out and purchased his own semiconductor foundry, that would be nuts!!!

Yeah I know, but if they are still doing the production of their own modules, they need a lot of these chips. That is, they must have good and stable source of them (or their own production line).

The miner's Mhash/s calculation is based on number of shares. When i jump in during the round, it stays low because of that, but my score is OK after a short time. Shouldn't the calculation be based on score? It would be much more trustworthy.

So many opinions... Can we still pay by a standard BTC transaction? If yes, what exchange rates are valid?

I have exactly 7BTC waiting for 64 board, and that news about usd payment are damn bad to me. I invested a lot (for me), and now, if they convert the price, I will have very hard time to buy anything... Please stick with the original plan. Many people are not prepared to changes.

There is going to be lots more excitement to come (both success and failure) over next next few years, and that's not even allowing for black swan's like quantum computing. Stock up on the popcorn!

Could quantum computing crack SHA2 and ruin Bitcoin?

Hashing is hard on quantumn too, but there are other possibilities. However, the Bitcoin network is flexible and can change its algorithms anytime.

Re: Block header hashing

The mined block header have a merkle root, which is a hash of all transactions in it. You can't simply change it, because the hash will change too. Until block is mined, it is easy to add transactions, because we can just change merkle root and continue hashing.
