I have used his bot since Feb I believe, works good and makes lots of buys and sells. I just finished my own scripts and just working on my own bot now for a different exchange that I use more often. Poloniex I never had more than a couple BTC on just for those random huge spikes and for this bot. My new strategy on my other exchange seems to be making some decent profits itself so I am leaving Poloniex for now to see how my strategy works for a couple months.

I know, no worries Gun, I was just trying to point out you been busy working on the new strategies! I am just thinking that it may be best to start considering the other exchanges a little sooner just cause the poloniex scare and lag, etc.

Honestly I think this bot should be starting to look at other exchanges as well. With all the scare and issues with poloniex, other exchanges is a good idea as a backup in case something happens with poloniex.

But on the other hand, it seems like a lot of work and thought is going into the strategies... which should work on any exchange. So improving strategy vs adding exchanges.... Can't have both at the same time!

Based on the log you shown, it looks like it is trying every 3000 milliseconds, rather than 3000 seconds.

That is my guess.

Not sure what the issue is. Might be a programming thing or what are your settings?

It buys (0.1btc), then watches those levels you put, and aims for those as multiple points. In this case it would buy the same amount as it bought the first time at Black Star (another 0.1) and Sell at Yellow star (whatever btc that is, I could do math buy waiting till we hear from Gun and team), because it passed or touched those limits. Correct me if I am wrong!

I would say that this is correct, but 1 to 2% per pair, not per day imo. Some pairs don't trade much, some trade every day. 1% on .1 btc everyday isn't 1% on 1 btc everyday.


If the price goes down, the bot can buy more, or you can turn off that pair and trade it manually or wait. All you have then is a coin waiting to get it's 1% longer. If it goes down 25% for 30 days, then back up 31%, then that pair made 1% in 30 days right.

New windows screen looks different... kinda neat. Something though that I have an issue with is I run this in a VM which the max resolution is 1024x768. The bot gets cut off now that the settings are horizontal rather than vertical.

Also I think you mentioned the tabs being taken away... A single tab with the status or summary of all running bots would be quite nice. I don't care much for the consoles, but a simple tab that shows a row per pair, with a start / stop on the row, and a summary like "BTC_ETH - Current Status: Bull rush, bought .1 btc, awaiting a sell point. Current potential profit 4%"... etc..

Hey gun, all working well still. I have had one issue thought that may still need attention. I set my bot to use max tade of .1 btc on dash. It used .1 btc about 3 different times for 3 orders. I started freaking out but left the bot to do its thing. Look below at the results! While I am happy about the profits. I don't think it should have done this... Was very scared if dash didn't come back up but didn't panic sell I had a power outage last night which killed my server, but luckily the sell order was in.

Cool. Now that the btc etf fiasco is over, going to get this new version going.

Has anyone traded any BTC/USDT or anything like that with this? Gun any recommendations on the tethers or if they are a good idea?

I find it trades with the coins that are moving the most, and waiting on coins that aren't moving. I had .7 btc, and had 5 pairs set to .2 btc to use. Either the first few sets get it, or it waits for others to sell. Sometimes I have a pair or two that aren't buying for awhile, and I still have .3 btc waiting for something to use it.

I wouldn't recommend having all pairs use the full 1 btc... the other pairs would be useless to have at times, and you could be sitting on that 1 btc waiting for that one pair it bought to get the profit, meanwhile something could have made 10% but it didn't have any btc to do anything.

I would suggest using a VM. More easily movable between systems and easy to run without dedicating a whole machine just to the bot. I have it running on a VM on my unraid server. My unraid box does a whole lot more than just this. And if I want to migrate the VM off, it is as easy as copy and paste.

I wouldn't recommend running on android - cool idea though. Android has many updates all the time (auto reboots, or auto updates), wouldn't want to have any disconnects on wifi or LTE if running on that, because then supergun might miss the sell time or buy time right. Just seems more risky on an Android running on wifi or LTE.

Turned off bot for now as eth and btc are going high lately. bot is lucky to get a few trades these days so it hasn't been doing much or taking a bit of a loss at the moment.

Once it all settles I will turn back on. ETF hype is real.

I PM'd Gunthar in the morning, he gave me an address to send .1 btc to. Sent that and API key for license, had to wait an hour for the confirmation to go through, then he sent me the files and licensed me. Total time was about 2 hours for me. Just speaking from experience, not guaranteeing his time frame or anything. Probably depends on his timezone and when he logs in to check. Purchased mine about a week ago.

I was making about 1% or so a day until yesterday. When bitcoin spikes like this, alts go down. So I have a bunch of sell orders and the bot is just sitting there waiting now.  I turned it off for now until this bitcoin spike settles a bit. As Gunthar said, it isn't a setting like "I want 1% a day" or "5%" a day. The bot can only work with what you set it to try for. I just happened to sit around 1% a day until the btc spike.

I do see potential with this bot, but these bitcoin spikes affect all alts, so it is doing nothing right now. (Actually sitting at a loss right now. I let it play with .91 btc, it was up to .922 after the weekend. Now with sell orders, it should be .95, but because btc is up, all alts go down. I am hovering around .81 right now. Holding till it settles and let it continue.)

I do have some suggestions, if I have something like 10 sell orders, all at different prices. I would like a way to have different settings for this. Such as combine all into the top one (get a little extra % for those low sells) , or combine all into a 1% (or whatever your setting is set for) weighted average into one sell - based on all the current buy orders that was bought with the current batch (get those top sells cleaned out while still making a profit so you aren't holding for a long time on those). I haven't looked much into what this bot used to be like, so maybe you tried this strategy before. Just looking to help improve and not leave open sells!

Also maybe a warning about open buy orders when closing or turning off the bot, and give it an option to cancel all open buys the bot made. I had to restart my home server, applying updates, in that time frame I had open buy orders that got bought, but didn't realize till too late and had to take a bit of a loss or wait period until the bot came back up and put some sell orders in.

Just a suggestion for more options!

- Have a top load price
- Have an average weighted load price
- Have a regular algorithm price - current

- Notify the user about current open buy orders, and give option to cancel before shutting down bot.
- Popup before starting pairs about best pairs - Not sure if this was mentioned before.
