Does anyone know if I get that 5% also on my wallet on Bittrex? BTW; Today I reached 1 million Britcoin, is it 5% of total amount of Britcoins?
Your coins have to be in your BritCoin wallet (Windows/OSX/Linux) and unlocked for you you recieve your 5% annual interest, and yes I think 1m is 5% of total Brits.

Isn't Bitstamp located in UK (it has its address in Berkshire, UK on its website https://www.bitstamp.net/about_us/)?

It's company is registered in the UK but the banks are over in Slovenia. It's still useful, but you must use SEPA (1-3 days) transfer which will come with some currency conversion charges.
Small amounts -> localbitcoin
Large amounts -> bitstamp
Before we use it lets undersrtand what's behind it.

Maybe.
Your wallet.dat has 100 pregenerated addresses unless you changed that with keypool=X [1]. So if you backup and generated address number 101 you have a problem. If you had 99 or less addresses allready shown to you, you are fine.
[1] Note that you need to unlock your wallet for this to work.
