Please stop posting that this is a scam. The only sketchy thing we've had thus far is a reward problem (which was very promptly fixed). We want to keep this thread unmoderated to ensure transparency, but will moderate the thread if trolls do not stop posting FUD.

Also, to give a network update, PoS is working according to plan, but we need more people staking! If you have coins in your wallet, please ensure your wallet is left opened and unlocked so that you get stake rewards! The network is slowly speeding up, but it will probably be another 12 hours until everything is back to normal.

The lead developer is currently working, we have sent him an urgent message to fix this as soon as possible, this will likely be when he has a break. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused but assure you that this will be fixed as soon as possible.

We have removed the X11-X13-pool from the ANN as payments have still not been processed. There are 22 transactions going into the pool wallet and 0 transactions going out despite claims that people have been trying to withdraw. We find this unacceptable and so have made this decision to protect future miners. We suggest that you contact them directly at support@x11-x13-pool.org to try to resolve the problem.

X11-X13-pool does not appear to have processed any payouts yet. Pool ops, please check this or we will remove you from the ANN.

According to your stats you found block 1515. However, when we trace the address the funds went to, we see 756.25 FUSE just sitting there.

The developers rented a modest amount of short term hashing power for the launch (100MHash/s or so). But beyond this, this is just how pools work. It's not like developers can get a high hash rate rig for free. If you think this is so profitable, why not rent more hashing power and  beat out the developers? Trust me, it's not developers that are pushing coin launch difficulties so high.

Hello all, I just wanted update with short to mid term plan:

• Get an exchange, to ensure distribution to non-miners
• Begin guerilla marketing campaign on twitter (#Fusecoin)
• Approach small merchants with incentives to support Fusecoin (use some of the premine funds to possibly back a bonus fund for merchants)
• Begin marketing on  coin related sites with premine funds
• Iterate on this plan as we get closer

We understand the difficulty being extremely high means this coin is very hard to mine, but this is also a good thing. This ensures the network is secure, and is a good measure of how much people believe in us.

The mistake was made of not updating the version number for the wallet. If you are in doubt about your wallet, please download the latest build to be 100% sure.

There are about 130 blocks left! Rewards should hit in around 2 hours, possibly less with the increasing hashrate.

The wallet was updated with a very trivial change of just changing the reward amount to be "68.75*(COIN/100)" previously, it was divded by 1000, making the reward 6.875 instead of 68.75. We apologize for this critical bug and did not mean to deceive. We understand VAST had a hidden premine and our first priority is to ensure everything is fair and to avoid their malicious mistakes. This bug was an honest mistake. It was code left over from last minute testing that was forgotten to change back before release.

The developers have been extremely quick to issue an update to fix this problem and we hope that this issue will not cause you to lose faith in all of us.

English speaker asleep. we see reward bug. accidental from testing. considering sending to "impossible address" to burn premine coins and no relaunch.

The 1st block is 1000 FUSE, for the 1% premine. Then, 1440 blocks of zero rewards. These zero reward blocks allow miners to point their GPUs at a pool, and to ensure all pools are operational. This makes it impossible for developers or anyone else to instamine the first blocks, and ensures everyone is on a level playing field. Then, the reward PoW blocks kick in afterwards when everyone has had a day to prepare. Finally, after 1440 reward PoW blocks, Fusecoin turns into pure PoS.

The team's reasoning for this is to ensure everyone has a chance to begin mining before rewards are activated, and to ensure instamining is impossible.

After speaking to the lead developer about this he said that he didn't plan on doing a password protected wallet release as there are 1440 blocks with zero rewards which should give enough time for people to manage the wallets.

I've now cleaned up the original post for the team as agreed. To also clear up any confusion from earlier I want to clarify that the launch will be taking place on the 26th of July at 4AM UTC (countdown) and that the information in the now updated original post is to my knowledge 100% correct.
