Calidude, your maths is a bit wrong. You said it costs $1200 for 1000 rock2. It only costs $325.

But you're right that the ROI will be low initially. They will gradually increase the number of miners. Remember payouts will continue for at least a few years. Anything can happen to BTC price in that time, especially if ETF happens.

Ice Rock just announced they are buying 1500 more s9. Should be installed and mining soon.

Hashflare just told their customers they are stopping their contracts! Shows Ice Rock are still profitable when others aren't due to their low costs.

I already told you. It is lifetime profit of miners (the miners are regularly replaced by new ones so rock2 could payout for many years), as long as mining remains profitable obviously.

They have some of the lowest mining costs in the industry. Way better than hashflare, minerone etc so relax. Only worry if BTC collapses and never recovers. I personally don't see that happening.

I'm a fellow investor. If you believe in rising BTC price, relax, they will gradually ramp up their mining capacity with time. The main reason why they only bought 500 s9 was because they were expecting better miners by this time but that didn't happen and s9 profitability has reduced with the falling btc price. Investing all funds in s9 now would risk longevity of the project. They had a community vote on what to buy and apparently most said only spend a little now on s9 and wait for better miners to spend the rest, so that's what they're doing.

Their communication is rubbish, so ignore what most admin in their telegram say unless you hear it directly from the ceo malik. Their admin and dias seem to ban a lot of people so yeah most of the people left are ice rock fanboys. Personally, I ignore their telegram and just watch their announcement telegram channel or youtube channel.

The team are probably busy but I agree they could communicate better.

There was talk of Kazakhstan banning crypto & mining hence the news I linked to is indeed good news for Ice Rock. A ban is unlikely with a pro-crypto President.

Kazakh president is positive about cryptocurrencies and had a meeting with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak who is also pro-cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin. This is good news for Ice Rock.

I hope there will be a drop so I can buy some more!

I read what the Kazakhstan central bank chairman said. I can understand why they might try to ban exchange of KZT to crypto but banning all cryptocurrency/blockchain/mining doesn't make sense. I hope they realize there is a big difference between all these things. They might just need education about the differences.

A big plus with this project that nobody seems to be talking about is that once the first mining payment is made in July their token price will go sky high because investors from USA couldn't buy it during ICO will be able to buy tokens on open market!
