Pools are necessary for a mineable coin. Now mining AE is only the whales' dinner.
In fact, the Aeternity devs have made premine for themselves.

It seems that Conan created PPTP coin (WAVI fork), as its repository belongs to the same Github user as Yenten.
But this is still not proof that Conan is the WAVI founder.

I see. So the amount of supply is determined by stakeholders voting. But I would like a max supply. For example, the block reward is 100 AE, then 50, then 25... if so, we will get a maximum supply and all reward comes from tx fee.
Agree with you. In addition, uncertainty in monetary policy will negatively affect the coin price and will harm the interests of holders.
Developers should initially define Max Supply, and even after launching mainnet the community could change this number by voting, if necessary.

Maybe a ASIC miner based on his github page read me file , also he said that CPU and GPU is not efficient in lean mining that requires a tons of SRAM that CPU and GPU lack on it.
To be honest, the situation where I can mine coin only on ASIC devices is very unpleasant to me for many reasons.
Aeternity should be a more egalitarian and decentralized project than Ethereum etc. (and after all, Ethereum already has ASIC-resistant algo) to convince users of its advantages.
By the way, have Dev Team decided what will be the maximum possible number of AE coins, or there is no Max Supply limit?

Though I am not interested in mining and have less knowledge but based on common sense can tell specifications and requirements will be shared on right time.
I want to support the Aeternity as a miner and so I need to know from what hardware I can build my rig in advance to start mining right after mainnet starts.

Recently the latest version of the Raiden testnet for Ethereum was launched, in which there are a lot of the same innovations (off-chain transactions, state channels and atomic swaps for tokens and smart contracts) for scaling as in Aeternity.
The developers intend to deploy Raiden in the Ethereum mainnet until the end of the summer (in August).
I think that Aeternity can face strong competition with Ethereum if delays start of the mainnet.
