Ciao a tutti. Da un anno ormai mi interesso alla Blockchain e alle criptovalute, studiando progetti, investendo in ICO, in monete e token già sul mercato ma sopratutto le enormi potenzialità che questa tecnologia ci offre. Ho avuto modo di leggere e analizzare centinaia di progetti, sopratutto di ICO, ho frequentato conferenze sul tema blockchain in Russia ed in Italia e passo gran parte del mio tempo libero a far ricerca sul campo delle tecnologie emergenti.

Immagino sia capitato anche a voi di imbattervi in centinaia di nuovi token, nuovi progetti, e vi sarete di sicuro chiesti come fare ad individuare quelli giusti evitando di imbattervi in truffe o shitcoins. La risposta non è semplice: bisogna fare tantissime ricerche, consultare forum e sopratutto studiare dalla a alla z il whitepaper, il team e sopratutto la fattibilità del progetto che state valutando. Ci sono alcuni progetti che, almeno teoricamente, hanno il potere di cambiare il mondo in positivo, di aiutare l’ecosistema o le popolazioni più bisognose.

Ed allora è importante stabilire quali siano i criteri che permettano di valutare se investire o meno in un progetto. Io personalmente ne applico due: 1) il Roi (ovviamente sarei folle a non considerarlo); 2) l’impatto che il progetto può avere nel cambiare il mondo. Questo secondo è ancora più importante del primo! Infatti, grazie alla blockchain, abbiamo il POTERE ma anche il DOVERE di cambiarlo. Ed è proprio per questo che ho deciso di scrivere questo articolo e presentarvi Bitlumens.

Bitlumens ha come obiettivo quello di fornire energia elettrica off-grid da fonti di energia rinnovabile alle donne che vivono in villaggi rurali dell’America Latina, sfruttando l’internet of Things (IoT) e la Blockchain.
In aree rurali dove le persone non hanno accesso ad elettricità e, quindi, a fonti di energia, esse dipendono per soddisfare i loro bisogni primari come l’illuminazione, il riscaldamento delle case, cucinare, irrigare i campi e via dicendo, da fonti di energia inquinante e non rinnovabile. Pensiamo alla combustione di cherosene o l’utilizzo di lampade ad olio o gas, o di legna. L’utilizzo di simili materiali contribuisce a rilasciare nell’ambiente grandi quantità di gas ad effetto serra e altre sostanze che non soltanto inquinano ma costituiscono un rischio per la salute di queste popolazioni.

Bitlumens ha come scopo quello di permettere, attraverso l’installazione di pannelli solari, l’accesso ad energia pulita, rinnovabile, e sicura; contribuendo così a ridurre l’inquinamento a livello globale e a aumentare la qualità di vita delle comunità rurali. Ciò sarà fatto grazie alla distribuzione di apparecchi solari portatili dotati di pannelli che catturano e conservano l’energia del sole in batterie. I macchinari funzioneranno in token BLS (ECR-20 sulla blockchain di ETH) e permetteranno non soltanto di utilizzare l’energia elettrica prodotta ma anche di far sì che gli abitanti di queste zone rurali possano accedere al credito, aumentandone l’inclusione finanziaria e sociale.

I token saranno necessari per l’affitto ed il funzionamento dei macchinari, oltre a poter essere utilizzati come riserva di valore ed essere rivenduti successivamente su exchange in tutto il mondo. I token BLS hanno quindi sia un’utilità pratica sia un valore di scambio, rendendoli quindi appetibili per gli investitori. Bitlumes GmbH è una società con sede in Svizzera a Zug ed ha già avviato progetti pilota in Guatemala, dove prevede di installare almeno 100 pannelli solari entro la fine del 2018. La fase di vendita dei token inizierà il 28 maggio e terminerà il 30 giugno e vi saranno in circolazione soltanto 50.000.000 di token.

Thanks, yeah I've already participated in some bounties but, they point is, I was wondering if there're any paying in ETH and not in stakes or their own tokens. As far as I've understood by the previous responses this question won't get answered

Crypto is the future, so does the blockchain but there're things which have to be changed before they can become a true mainstream payment option.

There're too many shitcoins out there, too many scammy ICOs, market manipulation and so on.

the fact I'm a newbie on this website doesn't mean I don't have experience or a portfolio, so your first assumption was wrong. Indeed I'm a qualified lawyer-linguist and my background can be easily checked on LinkedIn upon request. I don't hide behind fake avatars or virtual identities. Yeah this whole thing of stakes is pretty confusing. I'd much better prefer to know beforehand how much I get for a bounty. Especially for a WP translation, bcs I can calculate if the job really pays off or not.
But this stake-stuff seems a trend a bit hard to eliminate.
